A Gruesome Warning

Just north of Kralta, as the gigantic tendrils near what was once Castle Greywynn loom over the landscape like harbingers of destruction, a gory and macabre scene occurs on a hill, directly in the shadow of one of the looming tendrils. A female corpse, savaged and barely recognizable, brutally disfigured in all areas lay face down in the mud in a crimson pool of blood, its limbs crooked and bent into all the wrong directions. Her chest has been impaled straight through to her back and her stomach was carved open crudely, her guts spilled under her body, barely visible in the pool of red blood. Maggots had begun to appear inside a split on top of her head, consuming what was once her brain inside a wound quite representative of an axe.

A horrifying death. She did not deserve to die like that, nobody deserves to die like that...

Mörtûm Vherzîx hovers over the rubble of Castle Greywynn, staring down at the carnage of the scene. The levitating cloak, clad in ashy and withered armor, gazes upon the corpse from its perch.

"God Damn..." Ed mumbers when he sees it

The Bloodied Bard shakes her head upon seeing it. Feeling ill, she covers her mouth and quickly heads off, away from the horrific scene. Once far enough away, she slowly begins to process what she had just seen.

"Surely...no person could inflict such damage." She says quietly, a mixture of fear and anger on her face. It angered her, that any creature should be forced to be so deformed, especially in death.
