Role-playing: Role Playing is taking on the role of a fictional character and
acting as she/he would. Example, I’m an elf so I’d be very proud, greet people
with hail. I wouldn’t act like a 14 year old I’d get into character based of
her/his personality.

 

Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is using outside information to help your character or
hurt others.  Example, I play with a
friend IRL and he tells me his plans to kill someone. I then go in game and say
that he’s going to kill that person. My character wouldn’t know that since he
expressed it out of character.

 

Power-emoting: Power-emoting is making yourself the only one with a say in RP
no one else has a say in what you did/do. Example, I run up to someone and stab
them in the back. They had no say in what happened I just did it.

Full Name: Ilia Farlick

 

Current Age: 18 (How many elven years is like being 18 as a human)

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

 

 

 

Ilia lived in Laumalin most of her life. She was fascinated by
nature. Ilia absolutely loved to grow vegetables and plants and all sorts of
things with her father. Her father was an old wise elf, he always wore white.
At a young age her father gave her a bow and arrows. Her father traveled often
and Ilia needed to know how to defend herself. For the next couple years she
busied herself with archery and learning. She learned to read and write, as
well as become skilled marksman. After a few years of being alone her father returned
to take her elsewhere.

            Ilia and her father went to
Elandriel. A colony of wood elves, the area was being contested over however
and they decided to leave quickly. On their exit they ran into a boy, a human,
he was unconscious. Taking pity on the boy they quickly dragged him to safety.
The boy’s name was Talathar, he came all the way for a town called Ager. Ilia
and her father welcomed Talathar into their little party of travelers, however
the spot of joy did not last long. The three ran into a group of Bandits, they’ve
been raiding travelers on the road for a while now, the bandits were going to
kill them. In the last few moments before their death, Orcs came. Orcs came out
of know where and started to attack the bandits, in the confusion Ilia and
Talathar were rushed away by Ilia’s father. He told them, “You must go, take
this money and this cloak,” He gave the cloak to Talathar, “I’ll hold them.
Run! GO!” And Ilia and Talathar ran, they ran and ran until the sounds of battle
stopped. From there on the two became Half-Siblings, and traveled the lands
looking for Ilia’s Father.

 

Ambitions for the Future: Find her Father, make a home. And
Adventure with her Half-Brother.

 

Personality: Shy, reserved. (In D&D would be Chaotic Good)

 

Skills: Skilled Marksman, gardening.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of
whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that
a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you
react?



Answer: Ilia approaches the group and asks, “Whats going on?” The group of
older elves respond, “This young one is complaining of seeing an Orc. No one’s
seen orcs around here for almost a whole year.” Ilia stands next to the young
elf, “What if he’s right?” The older group of elves laugh, “Oh I bet he’s huge!”
one said, “With a big axe!” The other said. In the moments they were laughing
Ilia told the child, “Follow me.” And they left heading home, leaving the Elves
to laugh at their jokes. Later that day, Ilia couldn’t help but smile when a
group of panic elves returned to the city ranting about seeing an Orc.

 

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come
across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front
of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of
his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits
open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?



Answer: Ilia quickly runs over and scoops up all the coins and puts them back
in the man’s purse. She then helps the man up and has him lean on her for
support, “You alright?” She asks the man. The man’s eyes are glazed and he is
looking far off into the distance, “yes…” He said weakly, “I’m at the end of my
road… so I came out here to walk the familiar path…” Ilia’s chest got tight,
she new that this man was talking about him dying, and that he wanted to die on
his favorite strolling path, “Where do you want to go?” Ilia asked him, the man
pointed weakly at a small forest glade with a stump in the center, “My stump,
you wouldn’t believe how many times I sat there feeding the birds.” Ilia smiled
contently. She walked the old man to his stump and helped him sit. The old man
pulled out a bag of bread and his coin purse, “Thank you.” He said giving Ilia
the coin purse, “Oh no sir… I, I couldn’t.” The old man didn’t respond, but
instead starting tearing the bread and tossing it gently to the ground, as if
some invisible birds were there waiting to be fed. Ilia simply decided it be
best to leave the old man, and she did. She looked back once, and she saw the
old man with his stick on his lap, staring at the sky, smiling.

 

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come
across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A
trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of
his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about
everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What
does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the
discussion involved).



Answer: Ilia approaches the man and starts to look at his items, “How are you?”
She asks him, he smiles, “Fine and you?” Ilia smiles as well, “I’m Fine. What
brings you out here?” Ilia looks over some seeds he’s selling, “Well,” the man
says, “I figured I might see what customers are out here.” Ilia nodded, “Are
there any?” The man laughed, “Just you!” Ilia smiled, “Well then, since I’m
your only customer today, and the sunset is drawing near, how about I give you
6 minas for your seeds here?” The man nods, “I’ll happily take that price, for I
need to make some money today!” Ilia pays and takes her seeds, “Thank you.” “And
to you as well!” With that Ilia starts to leave as the man starts to pack his
carriage, Ilia was rather annoyed however, when she found that the bags of
seeds only contained a single seed for each.

Congratulations, and welcome to the server. You made most of the changes which I suggested, which is great, although a few minor ones were left out. Nothing worth denying for, however. One thing I'd note is that we are now in Anthos, not Aegis. I wrote the wrong thing in your previous denial.
