History

House Nasser originates from a band of nomadic Southeron tribes that attempted to ink out a living in the Holy lands. The denizens of the tribes believed that true faith came from hard work and maintaining the body. They believed that the body was the greatest gift from the Creator and that the worship of items created by men to be blasphemous.

Upon landing in Anthos, Abdullah had already convinced several families to travel with him and practice this new sect of religion. Many had lost faith in the Creator after losing their homes, but Abdullah taught them that these were merely possessions. If they lived meager lives, they would not suffer from their losses. They traveled to what is now often referred to as the Orcish Badlands and lived frugally, making the most out of what the deserts had to offer and hunting animals in the northern jungles.

During his time as village elder, Abdullah met with many successes. The people flourished and their faith blossomed anew in the cold deserts. They worshiped freely on their own time and developed new styles of worship. Believing the body to be the temple of worship, they took up dance and music. The dance was meant to celebrate life and praise the Creator for his ultimate gift to all beings. After an accidental fire, local shaman began to cultivate herbs from the jungles. Upon inhaling the fumes, they entered an out of body trance and saw vivid images. Many believed this to be a gift sent by the Creator for communication.

After the death of Abdullah, the tribes began to decline. The tribes thrived due to their nomadic lifestyle, but as the Orc populace grew they were pressed to hide in the southeastern mountains. Known for their swift and ruthless raids, these Orcs soon threatened their existence and lifestyle. Their presense denied them access to the jungle, their main source of medicine and food. A leader emerged, Sahir Ibn Asad. Gathering many young men of the tribes, Sahir domesticated horses and began to make use of the short bow. They copied the Orc's fighting style of hit and run tactics. Although gaining many wins and taking back the jungles, the populace began to dwindle. They were not a large community and could not keep defending themselves. They were forced to abandon the jungles they loved so dearly and go north.

One of these men was Sabri Ibn Nasser, a grandson of Abdullah. Sabri had lived with the tribes most of his life, and he found the idea of a land unexplored to be exciting. He broke off from the tribes and took up the merchant trade. He would buy and collect supplies from the wilds and selling them in Salvus. After he made enough, he began to trade with the Dwarves of Kal'Azgoth for rare goods and flip them in other parts of Anthos. This behavior angered his tribesmen, and they shunned him. Sabri did not care. He had made new friends in the cold lands of the north. After falling in love with a local peasant girl from Kralta, Sabri settled. An idea foreign to him. He soon began to establish cattle ranches in the wilds, Auvergne, Raev, and Norfolk. He gained a burning desire to surpass one of the men he traded with, Toveah Goldman. Leather made him rich, and upon his death he had acquired a sum of 55,000 minas. The majority of his fortune was given to Siegmund Carrion, whom had gifted Sabri with the title of Baron and the lands north of Kralta. Sadly, Sabri did not live to see it. He died from a fall in Brigand's Pass whilst travelling from Abresi to Kal'Azgoth.

Sabri's successor would be David Ibn Nasser. David was born from Sabri's sister whom had died during conception. The father was killed by Orcs several months before. The tribes had dwindled into near nonexistence by this point, so it fell to Sabri to take up his nephew. However, Sabri had never seen it necessary to build a home. He lived in the tavern of Kralta and did not see the need. Indeed, he never shook off his nomadic ways. David was given to a friend, Rose Valois, to raise. During David's childhood he developed an intense love for the Creator. Rose taught him formal worship and traditional Oren philosophy. After leaving the confines of Rose's manor, David set out to take over where Sabri had left off and eventually became one of the richest men in Anthos.
