aron. 427 Share Posted July 27, 2013 A small scribe sits in the page’s office in the Salvian keep, writing down an announcement from the crown. Titling it as commanded, the scribe begins to write every word his king speaks to him: “Concerning the topic of ‘The Faith’"As much as it pains me to not be able to direct my kingdom’s religion towards The Faith, I have decided that for the time being I must not delay its progress any further in its name. Until a time that I, Aron Bedevere, King of Salvus, reach an agreement with the holy church of The Faith, and the northern coalition, Salvus’s religious policies will remain null. As a result, until a time that I am re-communicated into the church, Salvus will run its daily course as it once did. By doing so, I accept any punishments the creator bestows on me, and count my blessings that what little people I have are safe, and well fed. Once an agreement is settled upon by Salvus, and His Most Holy Majesty, Goddard I, King of Savoie, a proper coronation may be held in recognition of the creator. May the Creator bless Salvus”The document is signed in blue ink, the scribe running it out to the various heralds, and archives.
AllegedlyBored 15 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Archbishop Henri de Bar finds this compromise relatively reasonable and understandable. He reads through the document twice to check if he is reading it correctly. Though he would have recommended a simple Declaration of Repentance to speed up the process.
