Most of the ads I get are with birdcages and furniture. I have never been intrested in either so I don't know why it's that way. Some appropriate website might give you cookies that aren't nessasary in the topic of the website.

These rules are not unreasonable nor are they unfair.

-The 10 Warning points rule has always been a rule

-The OOC in RP threads has actually been a rule for a good while (start using dem spoilers)

-The signature addition was a much needed rule and it isn't unfair; many forums regulate the size of users' signatures.  If you make a sig that stretches the page then there is a problem.  Likewise, if it's too tall it takes up too much space.

What issues are you having with these cjmate?  Post them specific so we can address them or revise them if it is necessary.  If all you can offer is a generalized statement about why the rules are bad then you are helping no one.  ^^

These rules should be revised. It seems like half of them are what you want to happen and not what can be enforced. Differentiating rules and expectations is key, because according to this a lot of people have the potential to be banned from not only the forums but the game in general. Rule number 17 seems grossly unfair and it sounds like you are attacking the community directly instead of laying down the code of conduct. The overuse of exclamation points and emoticons makes it difficult for me to take this serious.

Edit: Honestly, it makes me want to avoid the forums altogether for anything excluding applications.

These rules have been revised from the original ones. Rule 17 has always been enforced and makes so much sense. Also, if you want boring and strict rules with no personal feel to them, then that can easily be arranged. These are rules you already have been abiding by and agreed to. If you click here -> http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/forum-17/announcement-13-forum-rules-200113/ <- then you'll see they are exactly the same with some differences. Why are you okay to abide by these ones, but when actual levels of punishment are written, you're now opposed?

tl;dr, You need to tell me the specific problems you have with the rules so they can be explained. Thank you.

Drop all of the smilies and fluff, and I will be okay with it. This is an important document created to verify server rules. It does not need to be personal. I do not have a problem with the rules, but I know it will be impossible to enforce every single thing mentioned. Rules 7, 9, and 14 seem silly to be reported or even warned for. It should be something to strive for, but you are going to alienate people whom get tired of being badgered. I would also like to point out that the gm community, excluding a few, did not take this seriously and broke rule 19. Do they need to be punished? Of course not. Should it be a rule? Not really. It is something you strive for, but it can not be enforced.

Edit: If this was considered an ooc post, your writing style would be fine. However, a news post is meant to provide information to the reader. It needs to be written clearly and to the point. Personal comments should be excluded and posted in a seperate post or not at all.
