Aetosion 2062 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Issued and Confirmed by the office of the Lord General and Lord High Steward, the Rt. Hon. Edward Winter II. The Royal Army is being restructured following its performance in recent events. The new structure is as follows, •The Lord General commands the army. •Bannerforces may now return to their liege, and the leading bannerman of each force will be named a Lieutenant within the Royal Army. •Captains are named in control of the banner-forces of their duchy. The duchies will be listed as "[Duchy name] Company". •The Captains of the companies are responsible for shaping up, recruiting, and militarizing their regions in times of war. The Captains will be giving orders during times of war. Strong fighters and leaders are needed for this position. The following companies are now recognized: -Northal Company (Duchy of Hanseti) -Valiants Company (Duchy of Auvergne) -Furnestock Company (Duchy of Furnestock) -Schattenburg Company (March of Stafyr) These companies will be expected to deliver their men unto the battlefield at the necessary time, and into the proper communication channels ((everyone possible in TS, please)). These changes are being made because, if you look at Orenian history, the localized attention provided by banner forces and orders provides the most camaraderie and structure within the militaries of Oren. So long as it is possible to keep these forces together during a battle, there is no need to strip the banner forces of their identities, and the feudal lands of their localized defense. Bannerforces and their liege lands will be rewarded for their relative performance in battle. Career soldiers loyal only to the crown in the sense that members of the army were attempting to be transformed into are encouraged to apply for a knightly chapter under the Grand Knight. Field questions by bird to the new Lord General, Edward Winter II. Please note that Adorellan Kamura retains his position of Grand Marshall, but direct control of the Royal Army has been handed to Edward Winter II.
