Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - I've rp'd on other servers and on boards before.

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Assassins' Creep, Kingdom of Ravien, Asmalur Land of the Dragon (I believe), Chronicles of Cecelia, and Chronicles of Aneria.

How did you hear about us?: - From a friend. As well as having seen the name once or twice on the Minecraft Forums.

What do you think the server will be like? - I think it will be fun. I've already had a good time reading all of the various guides and lore having been written up here.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Powergaming. The sorest of subjects for me....I don't even want to talk about it. ;-;

What is roleplaying?: - Playing as a character with their personality, beliefs, and different actions.

What’s metagaming?: - Using information you yourself learn and applying it to your character. You find out that someone is going to assassinate your character. Your character happens to hire guards to protect him/her even though he/she had no idea about it.

What’s powergaming?: - Performing an action against someone and not letting them react/respond. *A swipes blade, cutting off B's head.* Instead of : *A attempts to swipe at B's throat with his longsword.*

What sex are they?: - Female

How old are they?: - 20

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - 

 

Meridia Walker was born in a log cabin near a forest not far from the capital of the [HOLY OREN EMPIRE], Abresi. Her father was a woodsman and hunter - while her mother was a barmaid in the capital. While her father was out hunting with his friends, Meridias' mother would teaching her at home. The basic neccessities of life, cooking, literature, weaving and seaming, as well as proper manners. Life for her was good as a child, she was well-fed and taken care of. And made many friends with other children in and around the capital. It was nice, the kind of life she wished she could live forever.

 

However one cold winters' night while her mother was away working the night shift at the bar - as to counteract the influx of adventurers. A sharp rapping on the door jolted her awake. She had been up all night sitting in a rocking chair, aimed at the door. Waiting for her mother or father to come back and lay her in bed - even if she could do it herself, it was comforting. Having hopped out of the chair, she bounced towards the door, turning the knob and slowly pulling it open. She squinted into the darkness, and shivered at the cold of the air stinging her skin. "Helloooo?" Only the sharp, cold wind replied back - until a moan was heard. She blinked, and squinted into the darkness once more. She yelped, appalled at what she saw. Jumping back and putting a hand over her mouth, before rushing over to the tree he was beside. "Papa!" Young Meridia screamed, putting an arm on his shoulder.

"....Meri..." He whispered, shakily putting his hand on her arm, then dragging it off and returning it to its original position down his side. "Papa! What happened!?" Meridia asked, gesturing at the bandage around his chest. "Ahhh....it was a normal hunt...me and my buddies got our gear....a few torches...and headed into the forest...." He coughed roughly, blood spluttering out of his mouth.

Meridia had went pale, staring as the crimson liquid trickled down his face. "Pa-pa...use small words...small words." She stuttered, panicking. "Bandit....attack....while we....coming...home..."

Putting her hands around his arm, she pulls back. "Come on papa....the city isn't far!"

His breathes were heavy, and every word sucked more and more of his life away.

"Meri...sweetheart..." He had lifted his hand up to her face, and brushed a tear off her cheek.

"Daddy..."

"Sh, sh, sh, Meri.....tell your mother....I love her...."

He cupped her face, staring hard and long into her sapphire eyes.

"I love you...."

Staring back with eyes widening as his turned cold and dark, she sobbed.

"I love you too....papa."

 

Meridia and her mother would have then buried her father, Meridia having been at the age of 11.

Afterwards, or present day : Meridia is now at the age of 20. By now she has had her first everything. First death, first love, first hate, and first job. But now she is moving on. After witnessing her father die years ago, and having not been able to do anything. As well as lacking any technical education. She is setting off on her own to learn.

What are their ambitions?: - To become a healer (in general. Priest/Medic.).

Do they have any special skills?: - No.

What are their weaknesses?: - Isn't prone to violence whatsoever.

What do they look like?: - I'm not very good with descriptions... A green-eyed girl with long blonde hair. She stands at 5'6" with an average weight of...150.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Definitely a character I look forward to playing on this server.
