How did you hear about us?: - A few friends of mine have recommended me to play this server.

What do you think the server will be like? - From what I have heard; very fun & enjoyable.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - My favorite rule is;  you want to play a character who uses magic, then you'll also need to apply for that via a 'Magic Application'. Find out about Magic Applications here. Most roleplay servers I have been on do not allow Magic, at all. It'll be fun to see what kind of people have magic.

What is roleplaying?: - The act of inserting yourself into the role of a made-up character, with their own personality, and habits.   

 

What’s metagaming?: -  Using Role-play information and telling it Out-Of-Character, then using said info in Role-Play without ever having learned it via Role-Play.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Not giving other players a chance to react to an action.

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

What’s your character called?: - Corbett Wulfe

 

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Northerner

 

What sex are they?: - Male

 

How old are they?: - 25

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Corbett was born on a small farmland, just outside the borders of Dal Cais, the first Adunian city of Anthos.

His father was a relatively simple man, and a honourable man-at-arms who served faithfully in the armies of Elendil.

After the wars, he was granted a small farm land, which he tended to greatly. It became a good influx of wheat, actually, and as such he became, to an extent, a profitable man.

His wife, a beautiful elf woman who he managed to win over one day during a patrol (He saved her and her company from bandits), bore him two sons, and one daughter.

His second born son he named Corbett, after a late and beloved uncle of his.

All sons were raised and taught to be hard working men, who clung to the belief of you want something done right, you had to do it yourself. This gave him a head-strong attitude, a hindrance seen by some, a perk seen by others.

When he was still young, a number of bandits chanced upon their farm, hungry, willing to do anything to get food.

Corbett's father ordered his family all to hide, grim eyed. In his hands, he had a pie though...

When they finally came out hours later, fear clutching their hearts, they found him merrily feasting with said bandits, who he had somehow managed to talk down!

After this, Corbett valued the skill of speech, and the art of a silver-tongue. It would come in handy later.

At the age of fifteen, Ulrik, his father, took him to the majestic city of Dal Cais, to show him his work at running a stall, and to present to him the inner workings of Adunian culture.

It was here that his use of the silver tongue came quite in handy, selling his wares left and right, for unspeakable high prices as well.

It wasn't long before his silver-tongued ways reached the women... as such he and his wares were thrown out of Dal Cais.

His father was enraged at him and his actions, and on the same day tried to smash a wooden sword over his head.

Corbett, who was carrying a number of said toy swords, raised it defensively.

His father blinked a few times, looking at him. He smirked, before continuing to walk home.

Without much to do, his father taught Corbett the simple arts of warfare, nothing on knighthood but more of what a man-at-arms does on the battlefield.

Along the way, he learned the value of honour, as his father so long strived to teach him.

At the age of nineteen, Corbett looked to his father, and simply told him he wanted to see the realm.

His father could not deny his son, no matter how much it hurt him to see him go.

Before he left, he granted him his old sword, and a slightly torn, still useful cloak.

Corbett Wulfe departed with both his father's and mother's blessings, starting his Journey through out the realm.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Though he might seem a canniving man, Corbett has always looked for true love. He has also strived to further delve into the arts of weaponry, being only a meager swordsmen. 

 

What are their ambitions?: - A curious man, with a confident and all-knowing attitude, otherwise known as "cocky". He is, to an extent, intelligent, more due to the time he's spent haggling than anything. His usual approach to things is with words, but a lack of patience can at times lead to him lashing out violently.

He is, however, of an overall kind and helpful disposition, with a work-hard ethic, just like his father taught him all those years ago.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - Archery, diplomacy, bargaining, haggling, swordsmanship, vendor.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - When you combine women, mead and Corbett, you get his blissful fantasy. At times, this can, and will no doubt be used against him. 

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - 'Cheekbones chiseled on a feline-like face'. Brown hair with dark blue eyes. A cleanly shaved chin with a strong jaw and a winning smile. Fairly muscular.  

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Nope.

 

 

 

Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: -  I will soon change the skin afterwards to match with the description of his appearance. But, for now, here it is.
