Edric, being the type of man he is almost walks out of the square, not even noticing the man until he hears the shouting of bids, stopping him in his tracks. He spins around to see what they are all bidding on, narrowing his eyes slowly at the unique blade before walk up to the man, gingerly raising his right hand as he speaks quietly, continuing to eye the blade from under his full helm. 
"One thousand four hundred minas to you from me, good sir...." He nods respectfully to the man before back peddling away from him, waiting for the bidding to end.

Drake grins at the high offer, though he suddenly recieves a letter, his grin becoming even wider

 

 

"The blade has been sold to a 'private' buyer."

 

 

He speaks, walking out of Abresi again.

Edric growls as the man begins to walk off. Having wanted the blade he slips off into the crowd, picking up a small stone along his way as he follows after Drake, tossing it at the back of his legs before running off as fast as his long plate clad legs will carry him. "Go plough your 'private' buyer!" He calls over his shoulder as he waddles off.
