Carver purses her lips as she reads the note. She has always had bad relations with magic, the supernatural and the like. How does one fight against forces beyond their comprehension? Perhaps the talk would shed some light on what magic really is, and more importantly, how to defend against it.

She finally nods to herself, noting the time. She will go, if possible, despite her gut telling her that it may end badly.  A gathering of mages is something she wouldn't want to sit around in unarmed... She'll just have to be very, very careful.
