History

 

In the beginning William led a group of men called the Templars, these men were dedicated to Aeriel and her purpose. After the religion died out the Templars lost faith in her. The men, poor and weak, were led to Abresi where they found Richard Herenden. Richard was a kind fellow, he always had a serious, but true face on. Richard was in the process of achieving nobility, allowing himself and his family to reach a wanted, yet needed goal. After seeing Richard and his loyalty to his cause, William joined him. Seeing that William already had men of his own, Richard gave him a militaristic job, which William devoted his life to. That was until one dark day, the day Richard Herenden fell. Many years later another Herenden was introduced to William, one that was just like his father, loyal and devoted, his name was Alester. William served Alester doing the same thing as he did for his father, William noticed things about Alester though, things he shouldn't have. As William grew more dissappointed in Alester, he grew more intrested in Alester's sister, Ariana. William left Alester later on, yet he kept in contact with Ariana, seeing her occasionally. William's love grew for Ariana quickly, within two years of seeing each other William proposed.

 

Years later, in a time of need, William returned to Alester. Alester left a few weeks later, he went on  a journey, one that no-one could accompany him on. In that time, Ariana and William took control of Alester's land. Alester's liege lord, Edward Winter, saw William's potential as a Baron. Edward, proud of William's job, awarded him with a small manor where he could begin his house. William's house flourished within months, many travelers along with old friends, along with the king, saw William as a potentially great Baron. Edward later on awarded William with Verglass, a small hillside colony located east of Wintermont. Around this time Northal broke off from Oren, forming it's own kingdom. Edward, aware of William's militaristic skill, awarded him with Lord Marshal. The House now lives on within Herendul's walls.
