What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: I agree with the "skin" and "follow the lore" rule.

What is roleplaying?: Where you act as a character you have created. 

 

What’s metagaming?: It is when you're playing or affecting the game by using knowledge you didn't get through roleplay.

 

What’s powergaming?: Making it so your character is a "god" and powers through every single thing. Basically, forcing actions against others.

What’s your character called?: Collin Skillows 

 

What race are they (and sub-race)?: Human (Northener) 

 

What sex are they?: Male 

 

How old are they?: 26 

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: Collin Skillows, an average citizen of Anthos. He had spent his childhood doing what he did the most at the time, learning to handle a bow effectively and how to strike the critical parts of the target. It had been a rocky childhood for Collin in Anthos seen as he was picked on because of his skills in the art of archery and plant life, In his early teens he was beaten up for telling someone the correct terminology for a Niphredil. After his father found out about this he made sure that Collin would not be bullied again, ever.

 

2 years later during Red Rose Day, a very important man named Hillend was trapped in a cave, Collin was given the chance of a life time, to become a Anthos hero, all he had to do was save Hillend Nimberlei before it was too late. Collin knew this would be difficult due to Hillend's large size and slow movements, he was right. Hillend was trapped behind 'River o' Ale', a large pub in the town's centre, under a fallen building that was over a hundred years old. Hillend reached out to Collin's arm, but Collin thought he had less strength and couldn't save Hillend. While Hillend was trying to pull himself out, Collin got up to his feet and pulled Hillend with all his strength, with one powerful pull he had saved him almost instantly. He was brought home and Collin had become that part of Anthos' new hero.

 

Several years later Collin still lived in Anthos, but with a new name, he was no longer "hero", but "saviour". After saving Hillend, Collin had become more kind and generous, giving free drinks to drunks in the pubs and causing celebration among the residents of Anthos. A master archer was in a pub with Collin as he was shooting some targets on the wall, so he walked up to Collin and asked if he wanted to learn some new techniques, Collin had to think about it for a second, the master archer was about to leave, but Collin called him and said yes. After a while people offered Collin gifts, thinking if they made him happier they would be seen as close friends to Collin. But each person who attempted to give Collin was faced with a simple "no". People soon began to realize that he would never accept anyone's gifts. 

 

Collin traveled around Anthos to find a place to settle down as a normal person, he crossed the border of his "neighborhood" and began walking. He would stay in small villages for a few days and get supplies; medicine, food and water, arrows, that kind of stuff. He even participated in The Great Hunt. His journey took him to many dangerous places, from enormous hills and tall mountains. Unfortunately, he walked through some poisonous plants. Days after days, his injury grows worse and worse, the infection spreading slowing into his other organs. Around 6 months after leaving, he arrived at the border of a small town in the outskirts of Aegis, barely walking from the pain that was now covering nearly half of his body. A roaming tradesman found him passed out in the middle of the road surrounded by orcs who were taking all his supplies, after scaring off the crazy orcs he attempted to wake Collin. Unable to do so he lifted him onto his pack mule and sent off back on his route.

 

Approximately 3 days after being found Collin was taken to a town doctor in a town in the center of Anthos. Collin had slipped into a coma induced by the poisoning, the trader set off on his route again, leaving Collin in the hands of Dr. Gornund. Several methods of removing the poison from Collin's blood proved effective enough to wake him, albeit somewhat brain dead. After 17 weeks in the care of Dr. Gornund, Collin was finally cleared of all poisoning and infection, but left Collin with minor differences. He could no longer remember any events past arriving in Aegis and would partially fall unconscious attempting to do so.

 

And now, 15 months after leaving the center of Anthos, he has wandered to northern Anthos and began hiking through the dangerous mountains in search of a safe haven. .. 

 

What are they like (personality)?: He is curious, friendly, trusting, forgiving, and extremely loyal. 

 

What are their ambitions?: He thinks life is meaningless, so he tries to leave small footprints. He thrives to learn to enrich the lives of others. But he mostly wants to find and maintain an inner peace and help others do the same. 

 

Do they have any special skills?: Both physically and mentally strong, can be a team player but prefers to be a lone wolf so no one can interfere with his plans. Good with a bow. 

 

What are their weaknesses?: Constantly fears that his friends will betray him, that's why he's friendly to everyone. 

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: Brown hair, green eyes, coat, vest, goggles. 

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: Please don't judge my skin.
