live in?: -  central usa, dallas to be specific

 

Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: -  Yes, I have
roleplayed in minecraft alot In a server called uthrandir.

 

Have you been on any
other roleplaying servers?: -  Yes I do, I play on uthrandir a fantasy
roleplay server.

 

Have you applied to
this server before?(Please link past applications): -  No

 

How did you hear about us?: - I LOVE roleplay servers and saw this one
on PMC and one I had read the lore on the Halflings and Orcs i was in.

 

What do you think the
server will be like? -  I believe it will be a fun rp experience
where I can fit in with like minded people and have fun roleplaying as one of
the official races.

 

Have you read and
agreed to the rules?: -  Yes I have.

 

What’s your favourite
rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -  I agreed with the rule
that stated that you must play as one of the official races as on many servers
I do not like how people try to play as (just a example) demon lizard fire
ocelots of norway or something random like that. I am all for RP creativity but
it can go a bit far.

 

Definitions



This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know
about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you
write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!



What is roleplaying?: -Roleplaying or in short RPing and be described
as getting into a character that is not yourself or taking the role of a made
up fictional character. 

 

What’s metagaming?: -  Metagaming is using knowledge that your
character has no possible way of knowing. Like lets say I am a halfling who is
just farming in his field and hears in chat that the orcs are going to attack
his brother, this halfling has no way of knowing this info as he had heard it
in a out of character way and has no RP way of knowing.

 

What’s powergaming?: -  Powergaming can be if someone forces and
action on you and says it happens. Like lets say a Orc throws a punch at a
dwarf then the correct rp way of doing it would be much like *throws a punch
towards the dwarf*, while the powergaming way of this would be *throws a punch
crashing into the dwarfs skull*. Thus it forced a action on the player and gave
him no way of reacting.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make
sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character
that you actually want to play.



What’s your character called?: -  Garrion Norfoot.

 

What race are they (and sub-race)?: -  Garrion is a Halfling.

 

What sex are they?: -  Garrion is a male.

 

How old are they?: -  Garrion is 25

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family
(Include server lore when writing): - Garrion was born and raised in
Lenfarthing by his father Brennus Norfoot and linda norfoot. Garrions childhood was one of peace and happiness mostly due to the fact that he knew no better than what his dad told him. But when his mom died in a tragic sickness Garrions dad, Brennus, fell into depression. Once Brennus had became to old to work at the bakery he knew what to do. When Garrion hit the age of 25 he then inherited his families from his dad,

bakery his one passion was baking so he loved his job. So one day after trying
many new recipes Garrion decided to try and make the best cake ever. As he
wanted to blend bread and cake to make some sort of dinner/dessert. Now Garrion
seeks to bake this cake and maybe see beyond Lenfarthing. He had always had a fascination with the outside world, maybe he will pass through the Elder peaks or see the scary and mysterious wonders in the witch woods. But this will come in time first he must make sure he is the best known baker in Anthos before his adventure! 

 

What are they like (personality)?: -  He is very outgoing and
creative, he however get shy around women and hates the thought of public
humiliation.

 

What are their ambitions?: - To be the best baker in the world and
create the best cake recipe.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - His special skill is a aptitude for
baking and helping other in times of need.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - He has a weakness against people being
judgemental and critical, also he a has a big fear of reptiles.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: -
 He has brown hair and wears a red coat with a vest underneath, no facial
hair and no shoes.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: -  Garrion just really
wants to fit in with other halflings and live a good life before he dies. He
also at one point want to see what it is like outside Lenfarthing.
