Dreek 1633 Share Posted October 13, 2013 The Steamer Volume IV(10/13/13) Contents: Tension Between the North and South. A Headless Man Brings Terror to Anthos. A Dwarven Champion Emerges. Wolves Plague Malinor’s Forests. Knoxmas Visits Anthos Once Again! Tensions Between the North and South Over the past Elven Week battles and raids have been happening on both New Abresi and Kal’Ithrun, recently though, it has become serious. Lord Marshal Zahrer Irongrinder, Lord Igor Ireheart, Grand King Dizzy Irongrinder, and Dreek Ireheart were seen in Abresi being troublesome with the guards and were attacked by said guards. Lord Ireheart and Dreek Ireheart were both slain by said guards. Following this, Grand King Irongrinder was then arrested and imprisoned by the guards and Tuv Goldhand. The very next day, Lords Ireheart and Irongrinder, as well as Dreek Ireheart attempted to capture Tuv Goldhand, and in the process slew two guards and lost Lord Irongrinder to the Abresian Guards. Following these occurrences, Strelts under the command of Tuv Goldhand marched on Kal’Ithrun and were turned back. During the attack, Dwarven and Orcish defenders fired arrows at the Humans while berserker Dwarves and traitor Humans attacked the Strelts from behind. The Steamer will keep you updated on whether war breaks out between these three superpowers. -Dreek Ireheart A Headless Man Brings Terror to Anthos A Headless man riding a Horse has been seen harassing and killing citizens of Anthos. This horseman is said to strike fear in a person’s heart just by gazing upon them. The Horseman seems to strike in times when people are at their weakest, easily swooping down on them and slaying them. Luckily, several guilds have already been founded to fight against this menace. We will wait and see if these guilds are successful in their attempts. -Fariken Irongut A Dwarven Champion Emerges Over the past Elven week a Grand Dwarven Tournament was held, pitting some of the best fighters against each other. The semifinals pitted Dormilion and Lathros Irongrinder against each other, and Grand King Dizzy Irongrinder against Dreek Ireheart. Proceeding to the finals, Dormilion won his fight over Dreek Ireheart, winning the tournament and becoming the New Dwarven Champion. -Fariken Irongut Wolves Plague Malinor’s Forest Reports of wild dogs and wolves are circulating out from Malinor and it’s forests. Whenever seen it appears that the wolves are rabid and extremely dangerous to citizens. We recommend any non military men and women to not stray into the Elven forests alone. Perhaps with the newly reformed and competent Lumidrum these creatures will not pose too much of a threat to the Elves’ daily life. -Fariken Irongut Knoxmas Visits Anthos Once Again! The joyous Halfling holiday of Knoxmas has once again come to Anthos! This Knoxmas, presents were given, snowballs were thrown, and a fun time was had by all. Knoxmas is a prime example of how the races can come together in one place and just have a fun and amusing time. This Knoxmas represented those ideals beautifully, there were Halflings, Dwarves, Adunians, Humans, Elves, and even an Orc! Perhaps Anthos should take a look at this Holiday and begin to work together in an effort to stop the North, to stop war, and to stop the Reign of Terror. -Fariken Irongut Editor’s Note Thank you for reading The Steamer.
