Character Name:  Calum Clacher
Character Age:19
Character Backstory: Calum was born into a small independant bristiric family. Back in Asulon his father was the head of guard in one of the villages in the far north. His father was ruthless when it came to justice but true to heard. Being around that Calum soon caught onto the same attitude as his father and slowly followed his steps. He was the only child of the family and his mother was pregnant which a babe soon to come into the next few months. Being just a small child back then his father had made life hard for him by drilling him constantly and having him practice fighting with dull wood weapons against other children his size. Calum stoon at 6'3 had blue eyes and had long black shaggy hair, even against his fathers protests about it. Over time his body was soon built into that of a young warrior as his drilling was continued and his swordsmanship improved. At last the came for when they were ushered onto the boats out of random, leaving behind many of their family values. In the struggle to get on a boat Calum lost his family and ended up on one of the ships seperate from where his parents were. During the voyage Calum had hung on the rails and day and kept trying to spot his family from afar, finally he got word that his familly was on the ship to the south of them, one out of 3 ships that would be lost to the sea. It all happened so fast, rogue waves coming in and battering the ship his family reside on then the winds carrying them far off course until they were out of sight even for the ships raven nest. Unable to pursue the lost ship in the powerful storm the Bristiric people kept going, leaving Calum below the decks, crying into the arm of a family friend.

Character Age: 18

 

Character Backstory: 

Aldes Bunkield, born to a small Bristiric family, of neither fame nor glory. His father, Beron Dunkield, was a drunk and a known woman beater who lived in Vaerhaven with his wife and Sebastion's mother, Sarah Dunkield. The small Bristic family had went south towards the dwarven lands when the Brists landed onto Anthos. Aldes' brother, Sebastian, was his main role-model. With deadbeat parents, Sebastian was the only person Aldes looked up to. Aldes' family lived in poverty, as h father's drinking and gambling wasted what little they earned. Alde's mother passed when he was age 8, and a year later his the only thing he truly cared about left to try mercenary work. Aldes was alone. His father hardly knew what was going on after his mothers death, so he would spend most his days at the smithy, watching the smith do his work. About two years later, the smith had noticed his interest and gave Aldes a job at the smithy, teaching him how to smith and he would pay him in food or the odd trinket he found. Aldes continued this work, slowly becoming a better smith as time passed. Aldes was smithing just as well as the shop owner by the age of 15. The smith saw promise in the boy and sent him off to a larger city, to see if he could add to his training. As Aldes grew as a smith, and as a person, he eventually wanted to find his own way in life. As Aldes' 19th birthday neared, word was spreading of a Bristiric family securing land in the empire, Aldes knew that if his brother had caught word of this, Aldes could soon find and be with his brother again. Aldes set off in search of his family and his people.
