An Unexpected Discovery

I have noticed that in Winterfell that the gates seem to be open every-time I return, I thought that it may been forgetful guards but it seems not. I then noticed that both the doors on my home were left ajar! I always close the doors behind me so as to keep the heat in so I was most unsettled. I am in the process of moving some of my equipment to another home as a precaution with the threat of the undead striking Winterfell seeming to be a matter of when and not if. I noticed a book missing from my bookshelf. I had been travelling to Alkhazar to try and sell it for many months but I never seemed to find the owners of the many bookshops. It was most peculiar. I had several shelves of books and this was the only missing one. Perhaps due to the name of the book... "Entering the Nether". I also noticed that i was missing a gold ingot and around 40 iron ingots so I thought that this was the work of a talented thief ((because the chests were locked with lockette and yet they were broken into)). Luckily I had a copy of my book in a chest which I was trying to sell, so I made a few copies and headed towards Alkhazar to try and sell them again. I came across a shop bearing a familiar name. Pehaps i had heard of him around Winterfell, the name was "VonSchlichten".

I decided to take a look at his store, and i came upon the most unexpected thing. My book, which i had never sold nor gave away, the only one to have left my grasp was the one stolen from my home. I heard that VonSchlichten was an arcane scholar so i was wondering if he had used spells or somthing to get access to Winterfell and to unlock my chests. It was a startling discovery. One which I intend to investigate further...

Yes I was not accusing him of stealing it, it is just that I have never distributed the book, so for you and he to have had the book for some time is a rather odd article. I wonder when the book was stolen. I had head tales from Eruantian the blacksmith in Winterfell that a man, a northerner wandered into my home and stayed the night. Without saying a word. Perhaps it was taken then but that was a long time ago, and I am certain the book was still there when I checked after i heard the news.
