kira1000 3 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Hello, I am having trouble using emotes on the server. I have tried *followed by the phrase, * then the phrase and *the phrase* but nothing seems to work. If anyone has a suggestion I would greatly appreciate it.

Jistuma 1996 Share Posted October 22, 2013 There are two ways for emoting, here they are: Option one, this always works: *lights stuff on fire Jistuma lights stuff on fire *lights stuff on fire as he says "This is way to easy to burn" then he smirks Jistuma lights stuff on fire as he says "This is way to easy to burn" then he smirks Option two, type '/roleplay chatstyle' and place to Quotations: The moonlight creates a shadow on the white dress of Jistuma "Good evening" he whispers. Jistuma: The moonlight creates a shadow on the white dress of Jistuma "Good evening" he whispers. What not to do: Having '/roleplay chatstyle' in Quotations then doing: Hello my friend how are you? *The man asks softly* Jistuma: Hello my friend how are you? *The man asks softly* Having '/roleplay chatstyle' in Default then doing: Hello my friend how are you? *The man asks softly* Jistuma: Hello my friend how are you? *The man asks softly* Using ' < : or any other type of thing to simulate emoting or talking: *drolls as he looks at the cake 'I want it' Jistuma drolls as he looks at the cake 'I want it' But, you can do it to simulate thinking for example: *drolls as he looks at the cake and thinks 'I want it' Jistuma drolls as he looks at the cake and thinks 'I want it' I think this is all, enjoy. [edit] A few more things: /roleplay emotecolor <color> Examples: /roleplay emotecolor Dark_Red Comes like this /roleplay emotestyle Yellow Comes like this /roleplay emotecolor Dark_purple Comes like this And so on.
MamaBearJade 2090 Share Posted October 22, 2013 it also helps to have the custom colors on /roleplay customcolors This turns on the custom colors so you can see emote colors. Then do as Jitsuma says. However, make sure you are in the RP channel by default.
