What do you think the server will be like? - fun and very atmosphereic.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - i think the one about staying in character is the modt important

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: - pretending your someone else,customizing them and making choices for them.

What’s metagaming?: - using knowlege your charcter dosen't know or unearthed yet you should not use this knowlege.

What’s powergaming?: -it is when a player is  forcing other players to make a decision that they don't want to make thus meaning they can't roleplay. you should not do this for it will get you banned.
In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What sex are they?: - male

How old are they?: - 70

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - when i was young i was kidnapped by outlawed olug orcs who thought i would be good as a gladitor. then after 20 years of fighting in the arena i was pit against a nethermane thus came my chance to escape i did it by stabbing the nethermane causing it to charge i swiftly doged. it blasted through the arena. it could do that because the orcs were a small group so they could only build a wooden makshift arena meaning the nethermane could blast right through i went to malinor knowing i would be safe in the great elven city unfortunatly i was wrong. one fateful night the olug orcs came banging on my door one night it was the same orcs that had kidnapped me as a child. but i had prepared for this moment i had hidden a sword under my bed grabing the sword i ran out to face them. they had returned because the nethermane had killed some of the small group because it was small it  was also were everybody knew eachother  and worked together meaning they had all been friend's so they wanted revenge. it was a bloody fight but i won. i had trained prearing for this moment but me being in the arena backfired against them i had also learnt there. but unfortunetly the guards thought i was the attacker i ran and fled the city living in the wild never staying in the same place for too long and that is how it comes up to now.

What are their ambitions?: - to prove his inocence,to get a job,go to college and get married                                                                                                                            Do they have any special skills?: - sworplay (very good at swordplay you will know why if you read my lore) and stealth

What are their weaknesses?: - friends,parkour,balance,being provked,will do anything to save ancient knowlege,he will always save inocents and will do anything to make sure people follow the law.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - slightly bearded,dark haired (i now know that elves are more ofenly blond but i dont want to change my skin) and gruff.

Sadly I'm going to have to deny this. Please wait 24 hours before re-applying. Please make the appropriate changes, listed below.

2. Your definitions for roleplaying, metagaming and powergaming are incorrect. Feel free to google the answers, but write it in your own words.

6. An 18 year-old elf would be considered a toddler. If you wish for your character to be considered a young adult, I would recommend you age him between 50-100 years.

8. Your biography needs a lot more work. Your character is very underdeveloped, you need to explain a lot about him. What does he feel? How does he act in certain situations? Who does he love, who does he hate? Give me every single detail you can about your character. Also, the "bandit attacked my village" backstory is kind of cliche. I'd recommend you change it.

I'd like you to refer to the first denial, reviewed by me. You did not make any amendments to the name "rexs", short of removing the "s". "rex" is not a High Elven name. Furthermore, you still have done very little to add weaknesses to your character, whilst your character is still "very good at swordplay". If you want to add a strong combat strength to your character, you are likely going to have to add a weakness in combat as well.

 

Denial 2 (ski_king3)

Your roleplay definitions and powergaming definitions aren't quite there. I'd suggest reading this page, it should help you with your definitions. Please put them into your own words, though.

 

Your biography could use a bit of work. It's a bit too short, and could be a bit more insightful into your character's life. Also, it is devoid of server lore, which is needed to show you have some understanding of our server. I'd also advise removing the cliche'd dead parents bit.

 

I'd also advise adding a bit more to your personality and weaknesses. Try to make weaknesses that are balanced with your skills.

 

It also might be preferable to find a different skin, as high elves tend to have blonde hair. However, this is up to you. If you would like a custom skin, we have a wonderful skin subforum where you can request a custom skin.

Now, let's look at the second denial. It clearly states that you need to add more to your personality section, yet you added "shy". Please put more effort into this part of the application. Furthermore, you really should get a new skin that is more appropriate for a High Elf.

 

Denial 3 (Tsuyose)

I'd like for you to fix up your power-gaming definition and also, I'd like for you to include some more server lore into your biography. If you could also, fix up your grammar slightly. (However, that's not a must. It'd just be pleasant.)

In the third denial (your most recent application), you are instructed to add more server lore into your biography. As it stands, you mention the "nethermane", "olug orcs" and "malinor" once. You did not add any further lore from the last application.

 

If you would like to be accepted to the server, these are the changes you will need to make:
