  1. Favorite thing about subnautica 2
  2. Not the question posed now is it? Either answer an that we are both wrong for using a broad term for the vast majority or that we both fine for it. Or just don't, in either case don't try to weasel your way out of it
  3. So you have been wrong this whole time when you say "the playerbase hates food expiry"? Or have you just been using a broad generalization for what you believe to be the vast majority? Same applies with what I said
  4. Its almost like I said "living things" and didn't mention ghosts at all. Strange how the one thing you clearly didn't read correctly counters this failed attempt at mocking. But to give credit where it is due, I do agree that CA's that don't need to eat should not have to. But I also will offer this, a ghosts, undead, and maybe demons, are all the exception not the rule.
  5. Care to actually back up what you are saying? Refute my words with something more than "Bro this has to be an L take" It is for roleplay not over it.
  6. Then what would be the point of food expiry if vanilla food wasn't targeted along with everything else? I would argue that defeats the purpose more than the extremely lenient timers. You are right but also wrong in some ways. Most food will not last longer than a week before expiry (aka people eating it) so no extra annoying step really required, unless you want that extra inventory space (or two extra if you are smart). Also to be fair there was a poll Aesopian had awhile back that did include food expiry. Understandable you forgot though just not 0 communication. This one is kinda stupid for two reasons. First one is that this server is not run by a democracy so to act like it is, is just silly. As for everything being better if stuff was optional I think that is also stupid. Because so many things can be optional but are not for good reason. Conflict isn't optional because you will encounter robbers, murderers, darkspawn, and etc. Age technically isn't optional either as you will get older with time (though doesn't show up for anyone that isn't a human). You also can't just make anything new optional. Food will affect all players because food is necessary for every living thing to survive. Food expiry is just not something ment to be optional as a concept, especially if it is to be expanded upon.
  7. I offer you this, why should a twelve year old be able to try and take on a lich, being fully geared and armed as if they were a knight? It is for this same reason we have crp default. It doesn't stop child soldiers in general or stop children from learning martial skills early on. What it does stop is said children being able to say crack the skull of a knight (who is an adult) at the age of twelve with a warhammer and wearing full plate with no effort. Remember there is a big difference between knowing how to do something and applying that knowledge. You can know how to fix a car engine but if you do not have the tools and parts then you can't fix a car engine. You can know how to play basket ball but if you are not tall enough then you probably won't able to play professionally. And you can know how to use a a high draw weight bow but if you are not strong enough then you can't use said bow. Children are weaker than adults due to them still developing and growing, so why should a child be able to wear full plate and use a tower shield along with a mace

    Metaplay

I will put my two cents because I want to and need upvotes (the upvotes part is a joke to be clear). I will quickly point out that in the doc it implies that only truvolcanicgoat and M1919 were raiding Vansk. There were a lot more people on the Norn side all in armor. I remember being in the gate house going through the epic gate rp then looking to my right and seeing like 20 Norns all on horses and in armor just outside and thinking "Oh, there is going to be a raid" it was very clear, at least to me and by most standards, that it was a raid so they were allowed to use raid ladders. I think the part they messed up when it comes to the ladders was not doing 3 emotes in shout for the ladders. It is also important to note for anyone whose eyes did not read the full rule for whatever reason. It says you can use them leading up to the raid. I can't say too much for the whole crp I do think there were a good number of mess ups on both sides during that though. "Raid equipment like Ladder Crates and TNT Crates may only be used leading up to or during a raid." On a different note, have fun ShinyB and farewell

  10. Okay so there are a few things wrong here. First only one admin "plays" in Numendil, tech admin doesn't play in Numendil, story admin doesn't play in Numendil, and community team admin didn't not play in Numendil. Second, and as someone else said above, the metaplay ban wave was anything but nonsensical. This has been stated better by Mikes Rhino's comment. Third is the "Everyone else is doing" just conjecture and an age old excuse for many bad this in the past so a bad argument. So I have three question as well to present you. Why did Numendil NL not do the same during the war to any of the other NL's at all? Are you a reditor? And do you have a fedora? Also on another note entirely which I will quickly point out a few things on the skinners being payed mina for skins. Getting a mineman skin has significantly fewer affects on the server than what the metaplay stuff is for. There are also skinners who play seamstress and tailors and treat the skin commission as irp. And to humor the idea of just saying that skinners being paid mina became illegal, I guarantee you that overall skin quality on the server would decrease. Mainly because most people will go and say "No I will not pay actual money for a minecraft skin" and most skinners won't make skins for free because that is stupid. So overall I can understand the point and idea but at the end of the day it is comparing apples and oranges.

  12. An adunic ranger camped in an unnamed forest paused from gathering her things in preparation to ride out to the coming battle to read a letter. The ranger then breathed a long sigh as she finished reading the letter. The Covenant had now sadly sent the most temperate man she knew into rage, she then shook her head and continued her preparations for the battle ahead
  13. A ranger sat in her camp by a fire read over various missives she had collect throughout the day. The adunian then raising a brow as she read the Estevot, her eyes lingering on the words talking about a lack of mercy. Which she then immediately thought back to various times that mercy was shown and there was even an effort to return the prisoners home. The ranger set the missive down as she looked to her horse spoke to it as she usually does by the fire "It seems this write either does not entirely know what he is talking about or is a simple follower as usual. In either case perhaps we shall meet him and get the chance to speak." The horse paid the adunic woman little mind as it stood there.
  14. How and why is this cringe? Because without being able to parry then attack you will just get a loop of a very one sided fight.
  15. This is factually incorrect, coming from someone who was actually there. There was no metarally and there was no metagaming iris and MailC3p. People were sent to gather a rally from the various realms after one of your guys, who was not iris or MailC3p for any others reading, was captured and brought to Numendil. Iris's character was seen in Cloud Temple (which is an irp location, though should be on the map) supporting the Vinovians and was captured then released. MailC3p's character shows up at the gate and pretends lies about his name and attempted to impersonate people three times (all three times being the names of people who were already there and the last one being the gate guard questioning him). Then when he was arrested his character stated his actual name and claimed that he lied because he does not like humans (I think it was the elvish word for human). He also claimed that he was apart of the Haelunorian government and at this point there is no reason to believe him. To be honest I don't think from an irp perspective there wasn't any good reason to release him but he was. I know that the iris situation was made clear to you because I saw you complaining about how Cloud Temple is an place in rp and you didn't know in global OOC (which I can understand why you thought otherwise and don't blame you for). And just to try to cover all my bases, for anyone who wants to reply saying "why did you only reply to this part of his post" the answer is quite simple, I saw something I know for a fact was not true and seeing how easily falsehoods can spread.
