Circa. 1845 We are joyus to announce that Louis Alexandre of House d’Azor and Safiya Oma of House Basrid were wedded on the 12th of Owyn's Flame of 1845. The young couple were married within the County of Azor upon the windswept cliffs of Arentania overlooking the vast beauty of nature below, remaining there in blissful rest as a newly married couple. When planning their ceremony, the couple had decided upon very few guests, only allowing close members of both households yet more importantly Ledicort d’Azor, Joseph and Phillipa d’Azor, and Isa Basrid. Those who were present to observe the wedding are witnesses of the pair’s matrimony. After a beautiful ceremony in which the couple exchanged vows and were married before GOD in a ceremony officiated by His Eminence Cardinal Johan Vuiller, a small private reception was held within the County to celebrate this truly joyous occasion in the union between House d’Azor and House Basrid. M A I D E N’ S D A Y Of 1845 With the Social Season of 1844 reaching its climax, it is well to recall and appreciate a woman’s youth and maidenhood. Though a lady’s main goal is in hopes to find marriage and be welcomed at debuting women, an eve like this is necessary. Both young ladies and debutantes are welcome to join in the festivities but under no circumstances shall men enter. T I M E T A B L E Mass Per tradition of this historical event, all ladies are sent to attend mass in the early day before the rest of the festivities continue. 2. Basket-weaving Following mass, the attendees will gather at the palace gardens where they shall learn to basket weave and pick flowers to use as decorations for their households. 3. A Lady’s Word of Advice Before the social season of 1844 ends, specific women have been asked to speak to give words of encouragement and advice to the youth as they progress into being of age.
