  1. Dianna Decaden smiled as softly as she welcomed her niece into the Seven Skies. "I am so proud of you."
  2. The bride to be, Amicia Ludovar, sat at her old, wooden desk in the corner of her bedchambers. Two closed envelopes lay on top of it, neatly adressed to Lady Isabel Baruch and Lady Adele Ludovar. The girl herself is patiently finishing another letter, this one adressed to the Lady Sibylla Barclay. She folds it neatly, put it in an envelope and seals it using the Ludovar seal she has stolen from her fathers office. She sends two of the letters to her friends while she keeps the others to herself to slide it underneath the door to her sisters room. Amicia quickly returns the wax and seal to her fathers office, hoping he would not notice it was missing. She would have to send a personal invite to her bridesmaids and maid of honor, after all.
  3. Elenore Decaden sitting by her mothers bedside as she takes her last breaths. [418 E.S.] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "My Dearest Raden, My heart has felt heavy ever since you left. I only wish I knew what happened to you. I wish for the day I can feel your loving arms and soft skin again. I wish for the day we reunite. Elenore has grown into a healthy, happy young woman. She will attend lifstala in just a few months. I am certain she will do quite well. She has your eyes, your curiousity and your kindness. I still remember my return to Haense. Where you and your sister showed me kindness and love. You have always been there for me, wether it be as a friend or a partner. I see this kindness in our daughter. And I could not be happier to see you in her smile every day. However, I am no fool. I know I am not long for this world. I feel my body weaken, my heartbeat growing irregular. I know I am sick. But I cannot tell anyone. Elenore would be extremely worried. She would drop her entire live to take care of me. I cannot have her do that. I love her too much for that. I wish I could see her wedding day. I wish I could see our grandchildren. I wish I could see her grow old. I wish for her happiness. I will see you soon my love. Yours forever." Dianna's last letter to her deceased husband. Written a week before her death.

  5. When they were little, the twins were isolated in the Otistadt keep. Their father's fears kept them in there, not allowed to leave without supervision. Even when they were allowed to leave, they were kept within the Haenseni walls. Once the war started the girls were once again not allowed to leave Haense. Ofcourse they had some outings, once to Elysium and once wto Sedan, though all were accompanied by their father. So, saying it was a big surprise to recieve this quest would be a big understatement. Amicia Ludovar stood in her room, mouth widened with a somewhat pleasant shock. Ofcourse she was excited to go out and explore the world, though the uncertainty of it all filled her chest with fear. Her father, uncounciously yet still, filled her heart with fear of the outside world. Fear of what others might do to harm her. Her mouth was still wide opened as her sister, Adele ( @CopOwl) entered the room. She turned to her beloved sister, her eyes wide with fear and excitement.
  6. A Lost Love A painting of Dianna Cera Decaden writing a letter to her husband and son. ca. 408 ES ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a cold winters day when her husband and son left on an expedition. Raden had always said he had wanted to bring the boy along on one of his expeditions when he reached age 6. Now, the time had come. They would be leaving for a few years in order to find new herbs and uses for them, leaving Dianna and their daughter Elenore behind in Haense. With one last kiss on her son's forehead and her husbands lips, Dianna waved them off. She would miss them both so dearly, but she knew they would be just fine. Besides, they would excange letters at least once a month. Two winters later, Dianna would be sitting at a table, writing yet another letter. -------------------------------------------------------------- My dearest Raden and Lucien. It has been quite a while since I had last heard from you. Elenore and I miss you both dearly. She has made quite some friends lately. She loves to travel and is truely an adventurer. Elenore is no fighter, she is quite like you in that regard my love. It has been 5 months since I last heard from you. I try to be strong for Elenore, yet I feel the fear inside me grow. I know you are busy and it might be inconvenient. All I wish to know is if you are alright. I long for a letter to arrive at our door every day. Please do hasten with your reply. With all my love, Dianna Decaden -------------------------------------------------------------- The pit in the woman's stomach started to grow. She could hear the laughter of Elenore in the playroom, yet she herself feels no joy. By this point, she only knew fear and a dark shadow that had come over her life. Deep inside her she felt as if something was wrong. As if something had happened or would happen to the two men in her life she loved most of all. As some more years went by, the aging woman kept sending letters. She watched her daughter grow up and plan her own small expedition, basically just following the path around Haense. As she waved her 10 year old daughter goodbye from the gates of Haense, the same spot as she had waved her husband and son goodbye a few years earlier, she broke down against the stone. The fear inside her grew stronger and stronger. Elenore, unlike her father and brother, did return to the house. -------------------------------------------------------------- Elenore kept going on her little expeditions. But ever since the girl's first one, Dianna had shut herself in her house, only coming out for emergencies at the clinic. The woman did not want to face the outside world. A world that houses so many questions. -------------------------------------------------------------- Raden Decaden Born: 362 ES Last heard of: 409 ES Lucien James Decaden Born: 401 ES Last heard of: 409 ES

  8. Amicia Ludovar would peek over her twin's shoulder at the missive, her eyes wide and glimmering with happiness. "Ea can niet believe we women are going to do this." The girl says to her sister, a wide smile on her face. "Ea am so excited for our future."
  9. Amicia Ludovar would clasp her hands together, happy that her family made it out alive and well. As she reunites with her father and sister, she can't help but shed a tear as her heart is filled with pride for her family and kingdom.
  10. Amicia Ludovar sat on her bed, her head in her arms as sobs took over her breath. After her father told her the news of her grandfathers death, the girl was devestated. Her grandfather was a good man in her eyes, a kind and honest one at that. Why must he have died cold ,alone and fighting? Amicia then remembered the encouragement he had given her, the proud he displayed over her. She longed to be held in his arms again and to hear his voice. She missed his guidance, his honesty and his care. Amicia truely and utterly missed her grandfather. However, with her grandfathers death, her father became the Baron of Otistadt. With that she became the eldest child of the Baron. Being a woman she was not the heir, however she felt that being the eldest child she had to represent the Ludovar Children until her brother turned old enough to take over. So, after the tears in her eyes had dried Amicia stood up from her bed and walked over to her wardrobe. From it she retrieved a long, black dress and donned it. She brushed her hair, the glimmer she once had in her eyes long disappeared, and put it in a braid on her shoulder. She held her head high as she walked down the stairs towards the grand entrance of the estate. Amicia took a deep breath, wiping away one last tear before opening the doors and stepping into the cold, winter air.
  11. Amicia, a small Ludovar named after Anya's mother, sits up in her bed. She is unable to fall asleep, hugging the small locket she had recently gotten from her grandmother tightly. It had been quite a while since she had last seen her mother. She looked over to the other bed where her twin sister Adele was crying in her sleep. At least she was able to sleep. Everytime Amicia closed her eyes, she saw her mother. Everytime she looked at her sister, she saw her mother. Thus, she laid back down, turned her back towards her sister's bed and stared at the wall. Amicia softly whimpered the same word over and over again. "Mamej..."

  15. Dianna would lover her face at the news, her eyes moving towards the floor. She saw Emma just the day before, looking healthy and well. To recieve this news tore at her heart strings "This is terrible news..." she whispered ever so softly as she looked down to the paper in front of her
  16. Dianna rolls her eyes at Isabella's letter. As much as she loved her friend, her needing to enter the courtship in the letter seemed sort of unnecessary to her. She lets out a happy smile at the letter though. "Oh Isabella..."
  17. Dianna was born Dianna Cera Amari to her parents; Lucien Everard Amari and Daniella Alexandra Amari neé Baker in a small house in the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. As a young girl she often went to church with her family and spend her time reading the Scrolls. Because of her time spent in the Church, she never had many friends. She and her mother spent a lot of time baking, Dianna finding her passion in this and they sold their baked goods to family friends and family members. Her father thought her, as a girl, unworthy of carrying the Amari name and made her mother go on a strict diet in order for her to fall pregnant again. After all, it had been 10 years since the birth of Dianna. Finally, when Dianna was 13 years of age, her mother fell pregnant again. Her parents started praying for a boy. Her mother got grievously ill after the birth of Dianna's little brother James Owyn Amari and his following death after living on this earth for 2 hours. Her mother died not too long after. Her father threw himself into the church to grieve, leaving Dianna to mostly fend for herself. When Dianna was 16 years old, her father stopped eating in order for him to be able to pray more. He became malnourished and as much as she would try to feed him, Dianna's father rejected her food and water. He died a day before Dianna's 17th birthday, on his knees reading the Scrolls. After his death Dianna went to work as an apprentice at a local bakery. With no family members left to force her into it, Dianna has taken a bit of a distance of the Church of the Canon, however she still believes and lives according to the Scrolls.
