After reading it over, he stuck it in his gamberson to see with his mother if he could help his friend, once he got home that is. The youthful explorer thus continued to look around and find shiny rocks or cool-shaped sticks to bring back with him!

I believe the solution to this would be to disable interactions for the Recording status in general, folks in this status are either spectating RP or actually recording things. All of the statuses currently disable players from using chests/barrels, crafting/smithing tables, and furnaces/smokers/smelters (along with disabling persona scaling while status’d), why not add another layer of revoked permission to Status Recording?

Ser Aviel stood at the edge of a shoreline, the breeze rushing through his hair. Those blue eyes scanned the declaration thrice before putting it into his satchel. “The pact’s sworn, those held under the oppressive thumb o’ the Empire will be ‘eld there no more.” The man’s gaze was then cast across the water. “A new dawn crests the horizon, we will see what it brings. Descendentkind stood united against Orsathiael and sent ‘em running.” “The Alliance will help us all chart a path towards Lasting Freedom. Genus Descendens Indivisum.” Aviel proclaimed to himself before turning back to head home.

Within his home, Aviel sat at his desk, running fingers through his hair from nervousness, as he read the declaration from the Norlandic King and High Keeper. “‘Sandr, Kristoff, e’eryone, stay safe.” He murmured before he brought out his silvered rosary and held it tight, knuckles paling, as he quietly prayed and begged the Almighty for protection over his wife’s family.

And as one missive was read, another bearing the Imperial Seal came, Aviel turned towards his desk and upon reading it just once, because of its uncharacteristic simplicity, that hopeful smile shattered into a somber frown. “I guess peace ‘as t’ wait jus’ a li’l longer, but it was always going to be the obvious choice.” He audibly sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “There ‘re more pressin’ matters than land-grabs.”

A letter with the Grand King, Rex, and Diarch Indivisum’s seals would be brought to the Count of Nautica in the safety of his home. An azure eye looked over the missive thrice before gently looking over to his young family, his wife and young son, with a soft smile. “Perhaps peace can happen in our time, an’ our son can be raised in that comin’ era o’ Light.” Aviel murmured to himself with a soft smile.

Through many hands, the missive would finally find itself in the hands of the Patriarch of Helfgott. A name familiar to him would be seen; he thought to pen a letter, but knew that someone else would have already done so. "Many surprises in this war, but I wasn' expectin' this." Aviel hummed to himself amusedly as he filed the parchment away into a collection of war-related missives.

In a home, far from the crescendoing drums war, the Knight-Polaris’ features would twist with disgust as he saw a ransom for an old friend. Further was it twisted in such a way as he saw it the missive was made at the behest of a representative of the Rex. ”Heilwig, I’m sorry fer what ye’re havin’ t’ go through there.” The Helfgott murmured apologetically to himself before stowing away the parchment in a filing cabinet that was surely to be filled by the conclusion of this brewing conflict. Ser Aviel had friends, and even those he’d consider family, on both sides of the war. It would seem heartbreak for those he cared for was inevitable.

A ginger would sigh after reading a missive given to him by a passing courier. Just as he though another chapter of his life was about to open, War reared its ugly head to pull him back in. ”Guess I’ve got changes t’ make wit’ some plans.” Ser Aviel murmured to himself as he took off his small pair of readers with one hand and massaged the bridge of his nose out of annoyance with the other.

Something stirred within a young companion of Turtwin, Ser Aviel Helfgott, and urged him to look north from where he resided. What this feeling was, was a mystery; yet it held a similar sting in his heart to something that had only happened just a few years earlier.

As one missive was stowed away, another found its way into Ser Aviel Helfgott's hand. Much shorter than the one proffered by the Empire, a sigh of relief below over him. After a read and another once-over, the Helfgott just sat on his bed. "If only peace with the Empire was achievable with such ease." He murmured with a tired sigh as fingers met the bridge of his nose in stress, worried about the future of the South and his own. Ser Aviel would ruminate over the conversations he had over the last Saint's Day, but believed it would be best to speak to his betrothed about such.

A Highlander, a friend of the now-Baron of Solvis and Cascanova, would read over the contract from his foothold in the south of the continent. Ocean hues scanned the parchment making sense of such. "A dangerous gambit, m' friend, yet one that ye've been forced t' take." Ser Aviel murmured to himself, "And one that shows were the Imperials set their eyes next." He added; thus the missive would be folded neatly and placed in his satchel.

Having been away on family matters and out at sea to recollect himself, Ser Aviel Helfgott would finally come ashore to much and more in the matters of politics, having heard only very little from another guest at a recent dinner he catered. Brows knitted together as he finally read the tale of the usurpation from Iohannis' side; now he would go to hear the story from the side of the recently abrogated regency council. "Father GOD, guide m' mind as I wade through the murky waters o' this fight among yer Southern Flock. Exalted Sigismund, pray for me that yer clairvoyance reveals the full truth t' me. In Nomie Dei, AMEN!" He prayed before leaving his tent.
