  1. Ser Aviel read over the missive, short and to the point, after the events of the last Saint’s Day. “The Emperor’s recovery has only strengthened his resolve t’ protect those wit’in his borders, especially against traitors.” The Helfgott Patriarch hummed to himself, pulling the beret of Cassius Tiber out of his pocket and looked at it. “If only ye heeded my warning, Lord Tiber, ye wouldn’ have had t’ paint the side o’ your keep red. Either way, I feel yer fate was inevitable.” Aviel spoke to the hat in a know-it-all tone, hindsight allowing him to recount that open-ended threat he made to the Baron of Hartwell within the halls of Myrine. The Avistran Knight thus pocketed the Tiber-colored beret and set the missive down before procuring a mug of booze to celebrate the occasion.
  2. Ser Aviel looked over the second missive regarding a vassal going to war with Avistra. He sat in upon his bed within a tent in the crusader camp set up in the lands of Sternfell, not too far from New Avistra. The Helfgott Patriarch rubbed the bridge of his nose in annoyance before finally rummaging through his traveling backpack and pulled out blank sheets of parchment and lit a candle; writing into the dead of night.
  3. Ser Aviel read the war declaration once, then twice, then thrice; yet he was still confused as he remembered the March having laws against harming birds at the behest of Lady Arya, someone who loved birdwatching and the conservation of such animals. 'A confusin' time we live in.' The Helfgott Patriarch thought to himself, twirling the end of his flame-hued mustache betwixt his index and middle fingers instinctively as he tried to make sense of the missive. Ser Aviel looked to his daughter. "T' war Avistra is t' cut off a primary supply line fer the Crusade between Sternfell an' Rittersburg. There 're also no alternate routes unless we wish t' blaze a trail through the swamp south o' Caurost; howe'er, we'd be expending almost as much resources doing that than the Crusade itself." He responded bluntly. Then he soon sallied back out towards the crusader camp in Sternfell.
  4. Hello, LOTCers! I’m looking for a family for a character I’m workshopping some ideas for! However, I’ve got a couple things about the persona that I’m pretty solid on keeping, especially since I already have a head for him, I can explain further and/or make compromises in DMs. Heritage: Leaning more towards Illatian (Southern Italian specifically for IRL inspo) when it comes to ethnicity. HOWEVER, this can be discussed! Name: The working name for this persona is Fidel, but can be discussed based on the family's cultural traditions! Physical Appearance: Persona will physically look similar to this: Age: I’m thinking of this guy being around 17-19 years old for one of the ideas that I have. Personality: I’m leaning more well-educated, charismatic, and willing to scrap with people if needed. Access to Kani: I know it’s a longshot and taboo to ask this way, but I would love to interact with the magic. DEALBREAKER I will not join your family if the sole reason you're reaching out is for PVP. Please reach out to me via Discord ( @.digit ) about this persona potentially joining your family, I would love to have a blast with more folks! Your Friend, Digit
  5. “Enjoy yer retirement, Lord Meili.” Aviel Roy hummed with a soft smile. He thought how he was only about half the old Margrave’s age, chuckling at the thought that he would also be fighting into his silver years. “Forward Avistra.” The Helfgott Patriarch declared, his ocean-hued eyes casting over the soon-to-be-settled lands of New Avistra before riding back home atop a snow-furred steed.
  6. Yee, I'm still a wee, little LOTCer and I am the GOOFIEST of goobers. 🤣 I've continued Helfgott as part of Klaus' legacy and I wanted to have a fun, nautical-themed family which carries on the spirit of that character.
  7. My most memorable CRP moment? It's gotta be when I was playing my first persona (and the first Helfgott), Klaus, and I was with a group of Reinmarens doing a CRP event against the Frankish in Minitz (this was on early Aevos). I managed to roll high twice, skewered one Frank with my sword, took it out of the guy, used him as a launchpad where I then bisected another Frank. There was a lot of aura in that moment. I don't remember exactly how I met all the folks I hang out with now lol. I've wandered around Aevos (my first full map experience since I joined at the very end of Almaris) and met a bunch of folks that I vibed with. The group I initially was running with has kinda disappeared. besides a couple of people. I met quite a few people that I regularly hang out with now through my time in Hyspia last map (RIP Hyspia 😔) and since I started playing Aviel (started playing him when he was around 7-8yrs old).
  8. THREE YEARS OF DIGIT Howdy, y'all! I realized my 3-year anniversary on LOTC was 7 days ago, as of May 18th, 2026, so why not do what I did last year and do another AMA? Let me hear your burning questions, I'll do my best to respond to your comments! Your Hopefully (At Least in Your Top 10) Favorite IRP Ginger, Digit
  9. What's been changed in the Animatii lore? I can't find it. EDIT: Nevermind, found it!
  10. If ya start making items to sell, you can use /edit on a stack of items and it will consume only one [1] Edit Token! You'll be able to sell items after a certain amount of time playing on the server!
  11. Gilles Therin was a little stumped that the ball was not held in his homeland of Petra, though the idea of an adventure east was enough to take him out of that gloom.
  12. Aviel Roy scratched his head confusedly. Who was this Stag-Lord? What are Clerics? He would decide to look through his book collection to see if it had the answers to his questions and others that may soon come to mind.
  13. Aviel Roy read the Margrave's missive before looking over to his family. "Time to get things packed, we're headin' southward once more!" The Patriarch of Helfgott announced, going up to his room to begin packing his travel trunk.
  14. A scion of the Phoenixspire, Gilles Therin, would be visibly concerned as to what transpired for this to be written into Idunic Law. "Every sign and every law has a reason. . ." The young man murmured to himself, before offering the missive to his mother, Princess Mattea (@tilly), while having a nice mother-son brunch. "I sincerely wish this is not another Atronach Incident sort of ordeal." Gilles added, before taking a sip of tea.
  15. Deep in meditation, a 'ker Farseer, once the Vizier of Rah'tuma, would feel a strong shift within the Divine Realms; as if something significant happened. Elahern Tal then opened his eyes and rose to his feet then looked across the horizon, the sun's gaze looked back with what almost felt like Ra staring at him with ire. Thus the former Vizier walked opposite of the setting sun and into the shade of the coming eve.
  16. I personally began my current main, Aviel, at 7-8 years old, and I RP'd him as a goofball of a child, but nothing that'd delve into Meme RP territory. I personally despise the fact we've got kids that are child soldiers running around and knowing how to fight like full-grown adults, you don't have all the combat knowledge in the world right as you turn seven and you aren't a child strongman. If you play a child, you shouldn't be beating full-grown adults, excluding Voidal Mages and the elderly since they're physically weak. No human child should be able to 1v1 an adult Orc. Just play adults if ya want to just get straight into CRP on a new character. I also get some people are perturbed when the players of their persona's friends/partner(s) start playing a new kid persona, but this is exclusively a Human struggle. Don't raise the playable age because of one playerbase's problem. An alternative solution to the child soldier problem would be to adjust TechLock where children can't go around swinging swords almost as tall as themselves (I see you, Guts LARPers) or have the strength to pull back warbows or crossbows. At the end of the day, it's up to player preference if someone wants to play their child personas at 5 years old, or the 10 years old you want to raise it to, or even older than that.
  17. REJOICE, MY FRIENDS! FOOD EXPIRY IS GONE! (Foodbag is hella convenient tho, saves me inv space)
  18. Aviel Roy would read the missive at his desk in the quiet hours of the night. He would look to his wife resting peacefully, then looking to the bedroom door that opened to a hall filled with the rooms of his children. “What I do, I do fer ye all.” The Helfgott Patriarch murmured as he filled out the form for the Wargames. “Let the games begin.” He intoned quietly, an ornery smirk upon his war-scarred visage.
  19. The Death of the Smith ━─━────༺࿐༻────━─━ Ol’ Matteo had a good day, Finished his commissions and got a good pay. Within the Throne Room, he ate a potato pancake, However, the chef made a terrible mistake. After the court was called to quit, It was then that the latke hit. Before the tears felt they’d drown, Ol’ Matteo came tumbling down. A crack was heard, All vision blurred. Avistra would cry and mourn, There’d be no Ol’ Matteo the coming morn. ━─━────༺࿐༻────━─━ The Last Will and Testaments of Matteo of Avistra Written upon Horen’s Calling, 648 A.A. It is with sound body and mind that I, Matteo of Avistra, write my final wishes to be executed by my lord and closest friend, Ser Meili Altwegg. It was a blessing that I was taught to read and write by Lady Arya; without her, this will would have never been able to properly been put to paper and I must thank her immensely. Upon writing this, I believe I’m seventy-four years old. The years tend to meld together when one only recently learned to count. Which is why I first wish for a proper, public library to be constructed within the Margraviate of Avistra, as well as be staffed by those who are always willing to step into the role as mentor to teach the populous literary and numerical skills. I served the people of Avistran proudly for many decades of my life, let this be my final act to the people who I carefully armed and armored. The Executor of this Will holds a collection of letters that are only to be opened upon the event of my demise. [!] The following would be sent to, and read only by, their specific recipients. 20. “Unsurprising that ye survived, Shamizir. Ye always found a way t’ weasel yerself out o’ a situation.” Aviel Roy hummed to himself as he twirled an end of his mustache in thought; having stumbling upon and read the missive. “Goes t’ show that the Eicherians will always be the true, cultural successors o’ the Old Republic! All ye bandits do is run an’ hide when the heat gets too much.”
  21. I need this for my Housemage YESTERDAY! Please Green Aenguls, give us an ounce of whimsy! +1
  22. “They’re allowing Orcs among those of Hyspian blood? After everything they’ve done to us?!” Zulimar ranted after reading the missive, clearly perturbed. “These folks have forgotten! I guess there is a difference between Hyspians and Viruvians.” He intoned disappointedly, the bullish Captain of the Silent Jewel then made the trek back to the rowboat he came to shore on. Once in, he started the long journey back to his ship.
  23. Aviel Roy read of the passing of Princess Madelief, the governess of his wife, Selyne. "I'm sorry fer yer loss, my Star." He spoked as he passed the missive to Selyne (@Parasolii) with a somber visage and a frown, knowing how much Madelief meant to her.
