  1. Gerard's expression darkens as he peruses the parchment, his fingers tracing the inked words with a mix of concern and skepticism. "the proclamation seems rather bold, doesn't?" he murmurs, his voice tinged with disbelief. "One would think such matters should be handled discreetly, away from prying eyes." He shakes his head, heavy sigh escaping his lips. "I can only hope that the royal family remains steadfast in their devotion to GOD and His teachings. But if these allegations prove true..." His voice trails off, leaving the unspoken implications hanging heavy in the air. "In the end, only GOD can discern the truth."
  2. Gerard nodded solemnly, his expression reflecting understanding. "I understand your concerns, my fellow brother," he began, his voice carrying empathy. "If it wasn't for the order," he continued, his eyes filled with a sense of duty, "Sandra could have fallen to the darkness and posed a threat to those closest to her." His words conveyed the weight of their decision. He raised a hand, gesturing to emphasize his point. "It was a difficult decision," he admitted, his face showing the struggle they had faced, "but we aimed to show mercy and compassion, even in the face of her transgressions." Leaning forward, Gerard's gaze turned thoughtful and compassionate. "As for her son, Miguel," he continued, his voice softening, "I believe it would be in his best interest to live with his father or be placed in a safe environment." His concern for the child was evident. "Sandra's actions have raised doubts about her suitability for motherhood," he said with a sigh, "but we must ensure that the child finds a loving and secure home."
  3. To Whom It May Concern, I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I am writing in response to your recent inquiry regarding the actions of the Holy See in administering a cure to Sandra, a vampire who had left Hyspia. First and foremost, I wish to clarify that the cure administered to Sandra was an act of mercy, in accordance with the teachings of our faith. It was not a crime but rather a demonstration of compassion towards a woman who had sought help beyond the borders of Hyspia. The decision to provide this cure was not taken lightly and was made after careful consideration of the circumstances. Our primary concern was not only for Sandra but also for her son, who would have been left in a perilous situation if his mother had been summarily executed. Obstructing the justice of the church is a breach of canon law, and we believe that our actions were consistent with the principles of our faith. We urge you to familiarize yourselves with these laws before making any accusations or judgments. In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that the Holy See acted out of compassion and a commitment to the teachings of our faith. We believe that it is our duty to show mercy to those in need and to uphold the principles of justice and compassion. I trust that this clarifies our position on the matter, and I hope that you will reconsider any actions or inquiries that may be aimed at our church. We remain committed to our mission of serving GOD and providing guidance and support to those in need. Yours faithfully, Holy Ser Gerard, Knight of Judication
  4. Gerard sat down at his small desk, the dim candlelight flickering as he dipped his quill into the inkwell. His expression was one of solemn determination, and his hand moved swiftly across the parchment, crafting each word with care and precision. The quill scratched against the parchment as Gerard wrote his response to Sandra's angry letter. His thoughts were focused, and his heart heavy with the weight of their recent encounter. Despite the tension between them, he remained committed to addressing her concerns with honesty and clarity. "Dear Sandra, I received your response, and while your anger is evident, I feel compelled to address some inaccuracies in your claims. Firstly, I apologize for any mischaracterization regarding the weapon in question. The choice of weapon is of little significance compared to the overall context of our encounter. Additionally, I did not point my mace at you, nor did we use any forceful means when taking you into custody. We had requested your cooperation, and when you willingly accepted our offer, we placed Aurum cuffs on you to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Regarding your assertion that you sought a cure from paladins and not from us, it is essential to clarify that seeking assistance from paladins, who prioritize the aengul Xan above all else, is a deviation from the true path of Canonism. Our mission was always to help those in need within the bounds of Canon law. Your plea for our assistance was clear and unequivocal, and it was my duty to respond accordingly. I must emphasize that I was not the sole witness to your request for our help. Brother Lug and other members of the Holy Order, as well as the wandering medic were present and can attest to the events that transpired. Our actions were guided by the principles of our faith and our commitment to upholding Canon law. If you believe that pursuing charges is the appropriate course of action, that decision lies with you. We are prepared to abide by the legal process and schedule a trial in the Holy See, as the event occurred within its jurisdiction and will be subject to Canon law. In faith, Gerard"
  5. Gerard carefully examined the parchment, reading the words with a sense of gravity and responsibility. He pondered the events that had transpired, the choices made, and the consequences faced. As he absorbed the contents of the message, he felt compelled to respond. With a steady hand, he began to pen his thoughts and explanations, addressing each point raised in the message. "Dear Sandra, I have read your message, and I wish to offer my perspective on the events that occurred. You are correct that you requested our assistance in seeking a cure for the affliction that had befallen you. We acted in accordance with our duty to help those in need and provided you with guidance on how to proceed with the cure. Our intent was always to assist you on your path to recovery. However, it is important to acknowledge that the situation took a different turn when you attacked Brother Lug at the Holy See. This unprovoked aggression put both yourself and my fellow Order members at risk. In response to this threat, I had to take measures to restrain you for the safety of all involved. Tragically, during this struggle, your children did not survive. It was never our intention for such a loss to occur, but the situation escalated due to the attack. If you had refrained from this aggression, we could have avoided such a heartbreaking outcome. Regarding the cure, it is true that it takes approximately six hours to take effect. To prevent any potential escape or harm to innocent bystanders, we placed you in our most secure cell. The safety of the public and our duty to uphold the law were our primary concerns in this matter. As for the fate of Miguel, it is essential to remember that GOD watches over all His children, regardless of their circumstances. While I understand your concerns, the responsibility for the future of Canonism should not rest solely on the actions of one individual who attacked the Church and delayed seeking a cure for two months. I hope that this explanation provides clarity on the events that transpired. Our intentions were always to aid you in your time of need, and we deeply regret the tragic outcome. May GOD guide and protect you on your path. In faith, Holy Ser Gerard"
  6. Gerard, his heart heavy with grief upon receiving the news of Father Ferrus' passing, found solace in prayer. He looked up to the heavens, "I do not know de where automations go after death," he whispered, "though I know Ferrus was holy. I know that he helped moi when I had asked, and helped many others. I pray that I too shall see him again, one day." With these words spoken, Gerard traced the Lorraine and began to offer a heartfelt prayer, "Saint Godwin de Paradisus, I beseech you to pray! Pray for Father Ferrus, that he may be guided peacefully to the final paradise, for he was a holy man, a beacon de bon fortune who selflessly aided all those around him. Pray for him, that his memory may endure, and his benevolent deeds not be forgotten. Amen."
  7. Gerard kneels reverently before the altar, the flickering candlelight casting dancing shadows upon his armored form. With unwavering devotion, he clutches the ornate Lorraine cross, its cool metal pressed firmly into his palm, a symbol of his unwavering faith. His voice trembles with fervor as he speaks the prayer, each word laden with heartfelt passion. "Dear Heavenly Father, Creator of all, we come before You in humble supplication, seeking Your divine mercy and grace for those afflicted by the vile curse that plagues our brethren. We beseech You, O LORD, to look upon Your suffering children with compassion and provide them relief from this malevolent affliction. Saint Amyas of Yore, Patron Saint of Medicine, Healing, Botany, and Wild Herbs, we invoke your intercession on behalf of those who bear the weight of this curse. We ask that you guide the hands and hearts of healers, that they may discover a cure and bring solace to the afflicted. May your divine influence inspire them to devote their talents and knowledge to this noble cause. Heavenly Father, grant us the strength to endure and the wisdom to conquer this scourge. Shower Your divine healing light upon those who suffer, alleviating their pain and torment. May your divine guidance lead us to a future free from the shadow of this curse, where Your light shines eternally. In Your Holy Name, we pray. Amen."
  8. Baron George Alexander of Corentina reread the missive announcing the impending wedding, only to discover that the intended bride was meant for his brother, a union meant to strengthen the Corentina family. A mix of shock and realization washed over him, prompting the immediate need to address this situation. In a letter to his brother, he penned his thoughts: "Forgive my ignorance, as I failed to recognize the true identity of the intended bride. What course of action do you propose in light of this unexpected twist? Surely, divine blessings do not accompany a union founded on such betrayal." @Sebbysc
  9. Baron George Alexander of Corentina will hear the news, he'd cheer out" Blessings to the young couple, may GOD preserve them and bid them a lifetime of happiness.
  10. Gerard's eyes welled up with grief as he received the news of his fallen brother, a valiant comrade who met a tragic end. A solemn expression etched upon his features, he'd whisper to himself "We shall meet again, mon frรจre. But not yet, not yet"
  11. In the hallowed halls of the Holy See, next to Whitespire, chaos and despair gripped the sanctified air. Shattered remnants of Brother Aleksei's armor lay scattered amidst pools of blood, a gruesome tableau that bespoke a recent and violent struggle. Gerard, a holy knight devoted to the sacred cause, hastened towards the scene, drawn by an unsettling feeling that something dire had transpired. Amidst the gruesome aftermath, Gerard's keen senses detected a faint, almost imperceptible soundโ€”the feeble breath of a fellow brother. His attention shifted to Jurkha, a stalwart companion in arms, who lay sprawled with a javelin cruelly embedded in his shoulder. Without hesitation, Gerard hoisted Jurkha onto his broad shoulders, determined to transport his wounded comrade to safety. Exiting the sacred confines of the cathedral, Gerard ventured into the unfamiliar territory of Sakigakure, 'The Hidden Village.' The urgent echoes of his calls for a medic roused the denizens from their homes, eager to extend a helping hand. Yet, as Jurkha was gently laid upon a makeshift medical cot, a troubling realization dawnedโ€”no medics were in sight. Undeterred by the absence of professional healers, Gerard, driven by a sense of duty and desperate resolve, assumed the role of a makeshift medic. His hands moved with practiced precision, assessing the severity of Jurkha's condition. The javelin, a menacing intruder in his flesh, demanded immediate attention. "Fear not, mon ami," Gerard reassured, his voice a steady anchor in the storm. A clean cloth, a humble yet crucial tool, was pressed into service. Gerard's hands, guided by both skill and an unyielding determination, dislodged the javelin with a swift and calculated maneuver. As the wound opened, blood began to flowโ€”a stark reminder of the fragile thread between life and death. With unwavering resolve, Gerard fashioned a makeshift compress from the clean cloth, staunching the flow of blood. The room, heavy with tension, bore witness to a dance between life and mortality. Every movement, every calculated step, spoke of Gerard's commitment to preserving Jurkha's life. As the makeshift bandage took shape, a palpable sense of relief filled the room. Gerard's gaze shifted to the sleeping Jurkha, a warrior resting in the aftermath of a brutal skirmish. With a solemn heart, Gerard began to recite a prayerโ€”a plea for divine intervention and a swift recovery. "Oh, Almighty GOD, healer of wounds and sustainer of life, I humbly beseech You to extend Your merciful hand upon Jurkha, brave and noble among us. May Your diving grace guide his path to swift recovery, soothing the wounds that afflict him and granting strength to his body and spirit. In your boundless compassion, O LORD, let Jurkha awaken to a renewed vitality, his eyes opening to the light of a new day. Bless him with resilience and fortitude as he journeys through the challenges of healing. May the healing energies of Your divine presence surround him, comforting and restoring his health. AMEN" As the prayer concluded, Jurkha stirred, roused from the realm of unconsciousness. Yet, despite the intense pain that accompanied his awakening, Jurkha, a warrior through and through, refused the solace of painkillers. In his eyes, the pain was a penanceโ€”a deserved trial on the path of REDEMPTION
  12. Gerard would fervently read the missive posted by his righteous brother under GOD, His eyes would gleam with zealous determination as he absorbed the powerful words before speaking his own unwavering conviction. "verily, these words resonate with the enteral truth! Let our righteous unity be a beacon against the shadows that threaten our sacred lands. Rather than engaging in futile strife amongst ourselves, let us direct our holy wrath towards the magi and those who dare embrace the void. Our duty if clear - to safeguard the innocent and purge the world of unholy corruption. May the radiant Light guide our blades and ignite the flame of righteousness in our hearts! As the Scroll of Spirit proclaims in (7) Epistle to the Magi - 'But you reserve your gift for your own power, and your own gain, and unknowingly, the gain of Iblees. But GOD is the eternal power, the mysterious power with no part nor piece, no lowly anatomy. For who can imitate the most Unknowable?'" Gerard would walk back towards the altar of GOD, his steps echoing with solemn determination. Kneeling before the sacred space, he fervently traced the Lorraine across his chest, his eyes aflame with zealous passion. In a booming voice, he spoke a prayer, invoking the divine protection of the seven skies for the fallen warriors who sacrificed their lives in the war. "May their souls ascend to the heavens, embraced by the enteral Light of GOD! Let this tragic chapter ignite a fervor in the hearts of Canonist, a righteous flame that unites us against the true enemy of GOD. in the face of adversity, we shall emerge stronger, for the divine purpose guides our path!" โ˜จ
  13. Gerard would scoff at the words of the Grand Magister of Hohkmat, a fire of conviction in his eyes. "On my initial visit to that accursed place, a vile demon was not only present but welcomed with open arms by your people. They went so far as to offer the demon tea, a blasphemous act. One of these heretics even had the audacity to suggest they let the demon feast on me, a holy knight sworn to The Holy Mother Church! Your claim that your kind doesn't welcome demons is nothing but a facade, a thin veil to hide the truth of your unholy affiliations!" Gerard, Holy Ser of the Holy Order of Saint Jude, would pen a letter to Cardinal Stanislaw, expressing his willingness to assist in investigations within the lands. The letter reads as follows: "Your Eminence Cardinal Stanislaw, May the light of GOD guide and bless your endeavors. I write to you with a fervent heart, offering my humble services to aid in the investigations within these lands. My eyes have witnessed unsettling scenes in their crypts, where the locals harbor hopes of their departed returning to the void, a realm tainted by the deceiver's influence. In the pursuit of righteousness and the eradication of darkness, I stand ready to contribute my unwavering dedication. Let the will of GOD guide our efforts as we work together to unveil the truth and cleanse these lands. In GOD's service, Gerard, Holy Ser of the Holy Order of Saint Jude" @Werew0lf
  14. Holy Ser Gerard reads the missive with a furrowed brow. "Castle Priory, the sacred abode of the Holy Order of Saint Jude, stands as a bastion blessed by GOD for those seeking spiritual solace. I beseech those planning to march upon it to reconsider, for it serves as neutral ground where all are welcomed in his divine light. Perhaps it would be wise to postpone any actions until the Holy Order can relocate to the Papal State, a place that shall soon embrace its sacred calling and provide refuge for all faithful souls. Let us unite in preserving the sanctity of this haven until its divine purpose is fulfilled."
  15. Gerard's gaze locks onto Halston, a fervent passion burning in his eyes. With righteous zeal, he declares, "We shall pray fervently, beseeching GOD to guide them back to His divine light! His mercy knows no bounds, but they must choose the righteous path, for it is the duty of the lost to seek GOD before they can be found! May our prayers be a beacon, illuminating the path of redemption for those who have strayed, and may they turn away from the darkness to embrace the eternal radiance of GOD's grace!"
  16. Gerard's eyes would light up with zeal as he read the missive. A triumphant smile would grace his face, and he'd begin packing his belongings. "Deus Vult, Deus Magnus!" he declared, ready to embark on the righteous journey ahead.
  17. Gerard, reading the news of Cardinal Arnaud's impending coronation, would bow his head in reverence. "Though distance keeps me physically apart, my spirit joins the devout assembly celebrating this sacred moment. May the divine light shine brightly upon Pontiff Arnaud, guiding him in his sacred duties. GOD bless the vicar and all the faithful gathered in prayer."
  18. Gerard would shake his head as he read over the missive. "Brothers and sisters, let not the seductive whispers of the void sway our righteous path. Lurin, a city steeped in heresy and witchcraft, treads a treacherous road paved with deceit and darkness. We, the faithful children of GOD, must stand resolute against this unholy alliance, for it threatens the very fabric of canonist purity. Let us fervently pray for the strength to resist the temptations that lurk in the shadows and for the wisdom to discern the path illuminated by the radiant light of our one true GOD."
  19. Sergeant Gerard Ouvrier, of The Holy Order of Saint Jude would hear of the news of the Pontiff. "GOD bless the Pontiff, and the Holy Mother Church. I know Arnaud will do great acts as vicar of GOD's house. Gerard would then sign the Lorraine across his chest, as he fell silent in prayer.

Youโ€™ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, โ€œWhat brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your faceโ€”โ€Ah, itโ€™s you. Iโ€™ve been expecting you. Sit,โ€ she gestures at a cushion, โ€œTell me your story.โ€ ((How do you respond?)) Thorsten sit before the old hag, unknowing of her background or intentions. Thorsten begins to tell of his story, though he doesn't expect much , for he is still weirded out by the situation. Thorsten begins to tell tale of his background. "My parents were born a Norland, they were no one of significants, they were simply farmers.. poor as the ground they grew their crops upon.. Sadly my mother had died during childbirth and I was raised by my father, who had resented me since the day of my birth. Blaming me for the lost of his wife. Eventually when I had come old enough to move and live on my own, I did in a heartbeat. It was only later on in the years that I had found out that my father had drinker himself to death, over the grief of not only losing his wife, but the love of his only son." Thorsten then looked back upon the old hag and say, "why don't you tell me of the events of old, and the many stories of other wanders, I wish to know more about the wars of Norland... or even the savage beast of Krugmar. I wish to know more about the war of the tenth nording war? It was said, that when me father was younger he was drafted and fought alongside his fellow norlanders and killed many orenian warriors, but lost many of his close friends from the village." Thorsten would continue his back and forth conversations with the old hag, until he was satisfied with the answers he was given. By the time he had decided to leave it was around dawn. he bared his farewell to the old hag, in hopes that he would once more see her again on his travels. As he departs he heads back onto the trail towards Norland.
