⚙︎ ✠ To The Anguished ✠ ⚙︎ By the Authority of the Cognator of Mechanikas The burden of war burrows deep within us all. The bleak cold reality wavers our minds, loosening our grasp on what once felt certain, reshaping memory into something heavier, harder to carry. It lingers in the quiet moments, in the spaces between words, where echoes of what was refuse to settle. Even those untouched by its immediacy inherit its shadows, passed down in stories, in silence, in the subtle fracture of hope. And yet, within that weight, there remains a fragile defiance, a quiet insistence that something human can still endure. We of Mechanikas extend our call across the waking world and into the quiet chambers of the mind. To those who perceive the grand design as not merely nature, but construction… to those who believe that reality itself may be rendered in cog, circuit and ordered motion… you are summoned. Come, and unlearn the errors of randomness. Come, and study the hidden architecture beneath all things. Within our halls, knowledge is not hoarded, but refined, not given freely, but earned through inquiry, discipline, and the will to understand. We do not merely observe the mechanical world. We shape it. We invest not coin alone, but thought, time, and purpose into its becoming. Each invention, each theorem, each turning gear is another step toward a perfected design. Join us, and take your place within the great equation. Learn. Teach. Become. Cognator of Mechanikas Seros Horus Malroth & Cognator of Mechanikas Aeterna Viola Val'har

⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻{✯}⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Khâzmicron ∘₊✧⚙︎ The Codex Synaptica Vol III ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻{✯}⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Before Tela’Zirous ∘₊✧⚙︎ Before Tela’Zirous there was darkness, but eventually after millennia a drifting light entered the cosmos, a glimpse of hope and innovation. His name, Garumdir. He beckoned to Tela’Zirous in his youth, his innovation and craft was a celestial clockwork fabrication of pure art and beauty. Tela’Zirous spent his years yearning to know more about the Father of Machines. Until one day he found himself reading over an old metal tome which at the top was addressed The Avant Sphere. It spoke of a grand population of workmanship and craft and to himself he felt a connection to this place, perhaps a future resided here, a reincarnation… ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻{✯}⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Prayer ∘₊✧⚙︎ The Prayers to Tela’Zirous are broken down into Three Tiers. The Morning Call The Artificers Beckoning The Khazamtor The Morning Call happens when an adherent wakes up in the morning. This involves heading to a shine of Tela’Zirous as asking him to grant you the willingness and determination to solve the day's problems. This Prayer is a simple one. The Artificers Beckoning occurs when the sciences of one's trade which alignes with Tela’Zirous’s vision, are being put to use, I.e if someone is about to brew a potion, or construct a limb. It involves seeking innovation and knowledge and skills to achieve what one finds themselves making. The Khazamtor is a grand prayer, this prayer can only be done in a place of worship by those that have truly dedicated their lives to Tela. Those worthy of the title of Chaplin or High Priest bear the Father of Automations approval. They call to all those who serve the Circuitor and summon them to the temple, once gathered they sit upon a red carpet which is a representation of the blood spilled in the Siege of Val’Garis, upon the carpet lays a tanned mat for the Priest or Chaplain to kneel upon as they face a shine to Tela’Zirous. Once gathered they speak and connect those around them, receding words and lessons spoken in the Khâzmicron. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻{✯}⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Rituals ∘₊✧⚙︎ Rituals below have two categories. Purifying and Guidance. The Ritual of REBIRTH [purifying] This Ritual is for those that have sodden in the comforts of Ibless, it consists of bathing those sworn to darkness in their own blood mixed with Lifeblood, this offers the unclean the chance to begin the process of forgiveness. Once forgiven for their crimes they begin the next process which is turning those who have tarnished the lands into something more than themselves. A Machine Spirit. But before this they must renounce their evil nature and speak truth to their impurities, only then can this ritual be done. The Ritual of Passing [guidance] Another is those riddled with grief and stress. Those surrounded by inner thoughts and burdening of death seek counsel in Chaplains and Highpriests and in their refuge the above will offer them prayers and peace. A personal item, One Drakestail and a Token to Tela’Zirous and thrown into flames and prayers are spoken, this is in the attempt to bring closure to the seeker offering them the strength to move on and grow. The Ritual of Repentance [purifying] The last is for those plagued with impurity and sin, this Ritual offers them the chance to begin a new life. It requires the Sinned to sacrifice a limb of their choice, and during the process a new limb is forged for them. Once their limb is removed the wound is cauterised and the limb is thrown into the forge where the metal begins to melt. During this ritual the High Priest and Chaplains are gathered, their word speaking and reciting the deed and visions of Tela’Zirous. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻{✯}⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Sanctum Sanctorum ∘₊✧⚙︎ The Holy halls of the Sanctum are enlisted for adherent followers but more importantly its a temple for The Khazamtor Prayer to take place. This Holy Sanctum can be found in any Nation or Vassal. It must meet the requirement set by those long before: A red circular carpet in the middle of the room facing shine with a tanned mat in the middle of it. A Shine to Tela’Zirous at the rear of the room. Seat for those in prayer or seeking Counsel. A bell rings when it is time for prayer. The Khâzmicron Scriptures stood beside the Shine for those to read. A High Priest or Chaplain to Guide the Prayers and Blessings ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻{✯}⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ lessons ∘₊✧⚙︎ “The Nine” The First lesson - Be kind to those clean of soul. The Second - Punish those who seek to hurt or infect the clean. The Third - Seek counsel in those that have faith. The Fourth - Bestow knowledge upon those that seek guidance . The Fifth - Endure the process of your art. The Sixth - Respect your chain of command and elders. The Seventh - Define your innovation, this is how you prove your worth. The Eighth - Destroy all sources and connections to Iblees. The Ninth - Open your mind to new sciences, add to your trades. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻{✯}⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ The Aftermath ∘₊✧⚙︎ After the disappearance of Tela’Zirous, the world was left chilled, his home village hungry, and the evil that had been in the world amassed. The forges fell silent. The gears that turned with breaths of animate magic seized up with rust, as if the very world itself mourned the passing of its guiding hand. The Dwed spoke of a great absence. A hole in the fabric of reality where the flow of innovation had been so free. Crops withered, constructs ceased to shine, and the secrets of true craftsmanship began to break apart into myth. Legend has it that Tela’Zirous never truly passed on, his soul endlessly still turning, tick by tick, like an unseen gear. Some believe that Garumdir found him and freed him from his shackles. His dreams of Val’Garis were perhaps conquered in another dimension. Or perhaps it was all something so much more than anyone could have imagined. And so the evil masses began to accumulate, sensing that something was amiss, and the believers congregated in secrecy, holding on to the remnants of his vision. They knew that the cold was merely the interlude between the cycles and that one day the wheels would turn once more, the spirit would breathe life, and the Clockwork Artificer would come back when it was time.

Stealing, defacing, destroying, or damaging someone’s religious items on Mechanikas grounds. ⚙︎⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ THE CIRCUIT COURT IRON CHOIR & SENTENCING ARTICLE TWO 2.1: THE CIRCUIT COURT The Circuit Court is the primary judicial practice for securing justice in Mechanikas. It can be initiated by either The Cognator or Lawspindle. Officials Required: Lawspindle and/or Cognator Memory Keeper (not required but preferred for judicial reference, also writes a transcript of the session) 5 Random Jurors (cannot be in a lead role nor a family member or friend of the accused) Defense Lawyer (can be anyone, even the accused themselves, but a Codex Scribe is usually appointed for the accused if they are a Mechanikas Member) Arresting Official (prosecutor) ——COURT FUNCTION—— The person or persons accused of a crime are brought before the assembled court. The Lawspindle will inform the accused of the charges they face. The Prosecution will lay out their evidence and bring witnesses forth, attempting to convince the Lawspindle and Jury of the accused party’s guilt. The Defense will then make a case for the accused’s innocence, using their evidence and witnesses. The Defense and Prosecution will ask the accused questions. After all deliberations are done. The Jury will discuss the evidence amongst themselves, after reaching a verdict, they will return to court and present it. Innocent or Guilty. The Lawspindle will consider all of the evidence, and the Jury’s decision, and make a final verdict. The Cognator (if present) can override the Lawspindle’s verdict. If no override is given, the Lawspindle will sentence the accused to punishment befitting the crime. 2.2: PUNISHMENT Below is a list of possible punishments that may be issued to the guilty. The Cognator may also override these. In order of severity: Extradition to the Court of Norland Exile Seizure of Mechanikas installed body parts Imprisonment Seizure of Assets Cat O’ Nine Tails (flogging) Public Humiliation (pelting) Fine/Restitution Public Service Formal Warning (Writ of Notice) Any of these punishments may be issued together in any combination depending on the severity of the charges. 2.3: IRON CHOIR AUTHORITY The Iron Choir acts as both a military arm and a domestic peacekeeping force. They have the authority equal to that of a constable. ——POWERS—— 2.4:POWER OF ARREST An Iron Choir member may arrest any person they suspect of or witness committing crimes on Mechanikas grounds. This applies to ALL citizens, visitors, and officials including The Cognator. The IC member must recite the suspect’s Judicial Rights during arrest. If the suspect resists arrest, appropriate force should be used. IC members also may confiscate weapons and personal effects upon arrest. 2.5: POWER OF ENTRY An Iron Choir member may enter a person's home or business forcefully after acquiring a Writ of Cause from the Lawspindle, if they suspect the property of hosting illegal activity, It is the Lawspindle’s responsibility to ensure that the Iron Choir member’s information is accurate. 2.6: POWER OF HOLDING Iron Choir members upon arresting a suspect, have the ability to place said suspect in prison until their trial is scheduled. 2.7: POWER OF CITATION Iron Choir members have the ability to write citations (small fines) to those they witness committing minor infractions such as: Disturbing the Peace Public Indencency Public Drunkenness Troublemaking The person receiving said citations must pay the amount due to the Lawspindle by a specific date. (Citations are limited to 25 Mina and below) Persons who do not pay said fine by said date, will have a Writ of Cause made against them, in which they will be wanted for prosecution. 2.8: POWER OF INVESTIGATION Iron Choir members have the ability to investigate crime scenes and relay their findings to the Lawspindle. ——RESTRICTIONS—— 2.9: DECENCY Iron Choir members must treat all suspects with reasonable respect and dignity. 2.10: RECITAL Iron Choir members must ALWAYS recite the suspects Judicial Rights upon arrest. Neglecting this voids the arrest, and the entire case. 2.10: BURDEN OF PROOF The Burden of Proof lies solely on the arresting officials and confirmed witnesses. They must have enough evidence to convict or the case will be thrown out. 2.11: INTEGRITY Iron Choir members found to have arrested or fined someone due to personal grievances or gain, will in turn receive a fine, imprisonment, or expulsion from the Iron Choir, depending on severity. 2.12: ESCALATION OF FORCE Iron Choir members are not authorized to use lethal or harmful force on a suspect unless there is immediate threat. They shall escalate according to this hierarchy. Issue Verbal Command (repeat often) Attempt to Restrain Use Non-lethal Foce (beating) Use Lethal Force (stabbing) ⚙︎⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE ARTICLE THREE 3.1: THE RIGHT TO ARMS Every member of Mechanikas reserves the right to own and use weapons to protect themselves. 3.2: THE RIGHT TO MOVEMENT All members reserve the right to move freely to and from Mechanikas grounds. They also reserve the right to permanently leave Mechanikas at any time. 3.3 THE RIGHT TO COMMERCE All members reserve the right to freely deal in goods amongst each other. 3.4: THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH All members reserve the right to speak their minds openly. As long as what they say remains respectful and not Treasonous. 3.5: THE RIGHT TO INVENT All members reserve the right to invent and develop concepts and ideas without restriction, as long as they do not go against any laws set by the Kingdom of Norland. ——JUDICIAL RIGHTS—— 3.6: THE RIGHT TO A FAIR TRIAL 3.7: THE RIGHT TO DECENCY 3.8: THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT —INFORMAL LAW— INFORMAL DOES NOT MEAN UNNOFFICIAL The Cognator’s Word is absolute, all Council decrees stem from their will. Council Members must act as one mechanism, their commitment and communication to each other if vital and critical To obstruct the Council’s design or falsify records of research is considered Jamming the Gear, punishable by exile or reconstruction. Augmentation is Honour. Those who shun the gift of brass and gear reject Tela’Zirous’s blessing. Refusal of augmentation beyond the first stage marks one as Unforged. Unauthorized augmentation or the theft of another’s component is Desecration of Form, punished by disassembly. Animatii are to be treated as sacred vessels, not as tools. They contain fragments of the divine rhythm and must not be defiled or dismantled without sanction from the Grand Machinist. Sorvians, Golems and Automations are treated with the same respect and regard as that of normal descendants. To disobey this command is heresy and will result in purging. Souls are to be handled only by authorized chaplains and the high priest. Unauthorized transfers, bindings, or extractions are Soul-Tampering, a crimE punishable by soul containment. The crafting of new automations that serve Iron Choir requires the approval of both the High Priest and the Cognator. Worship must be conducted at least once per Servitor week within a registered shrine or workshop temple Knowledge is a sacred resource. All research findings must be recorded within the Spiral Memory but the rights belong to those that discovered the finding. To destroy a tome, codex, or schematic is Blasphemy and you will be marked a heretic if found doing so. Experiments must be conducted in the presence of a witness and must be done in the provided laboratories of Mechanikas. The Iron Choir are mechanical executioners of the law. Their judgment in the field is equal to that of the Lawspindle’s word. To strike a member of the Choir is to strike the god’s rhythm itself an act of Treason. Fallen Choir souls shall be harvested with ceremony and installed into the Resonant Core. Family is defined by craft and function, not lineage. A unit that ceases to function in harmony shall be reforged. Theft of materials, knowledge or constructs is punished by servitude in the Clatterforge until the debt is repaid in hours of labor. —--ACTS & AMENDMENTS—- -THE GATHERING ACT- Resource Gathering Act As our machinery is ever hungry for more resources be it mundane or alchemical. Everyone who is part of Iron Choir and is currently on patrol or other duty, outside of guarding a person or location is to harvest a reasonable amount of any mineral or alchemical materials they come across, therefore they should always also carry with them alchemical shears and a pickaxe. 50% of the finds they may keep and 50% are to be donated to Mechanikas harvesters may choose which parts of the harvest to donate. This is to aid ensuring constant supply of resources to the city in an effort to minimize any kind of delay in current projects due the lack of said resources. A bonus might be considered from particularly large donations. ⚙︎︎⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⚙︎

⚙︎︎⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⚙︎ THE vox bina “Twin tongue” BY: Astrois, memory keeper of mechanikas ⚙︎⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ Origin Vox Bina (Twin Tongue) was created by the Ordo Mechanikas to bind thought and mechanism into a single, ordered voice. It merges Latin, Greek, German, and Arabic roots into one clear, rhythmic system. At its center stands Tira’Zirous, The Circuitor, a Dark Elf whose philosophy of unity between mind and mechanism became doctrine. His name, Tira, ends both prayer and sorrow. Registers Vox Bina Formata Spoken entirely in monotone and without inflection. Spoken in “clockwork” fashion, two syllables per second. Used in official, scholarly, liturgical, and technical contexts. It is meant to convey information accurately and without emotion clouding reason. Vox Bina Vulgara This variety of VB is spoken a bit like the common tongue, with variable speed and inflection. It is often looked down upon by scholars and purists for its shortened, diminutive nature. ⚙︎⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ Phonetics Consonants : k t r s m n l g d b z f h Vowels : a e i o u (pure) Stress : always first syllable Tone : flat mid-pitch, constant volume Pause : ¼ second between clauses Formata = mechanical metronome; Vulgara = ordinary human cadence. What do you think of the Empire and its contributions to the server?
Echo_42069 replied to fizzyquack's topic in Miscellany
I use to hate the Empire for destroying all the amazing nations and then I gave up and make a dark elf and now all I do is Warhammer rp and where our vassal is, is in a nation that’s a close ally and after speaking to empire players oocly it’s not bad tbf, yes it has its faults like how my Delf still gets insulted there so I don’t go there but the overall idea is pretty cool and I wish one day my Delf will be accepted there- 163 replies

“Call upon us my King, let us show you the full wrath of the Iron Choir” Seros spoke outload in the halls of Mechanikas -

⚙︎₊✧∘ Mechanikas ∘₊✧⚙︎ “By gear and glyph, by formula and flame, we etch identity into brass.” ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Departments ∘₊✧⚙︎ -⚙︎ The Pillars of Mechanikas ⚙︎- Mechanikas is made up of 5 departments: Researchers, Khemists, Scientists and Prime Artificers and Codex Scribes. Each department plays a crucial role in the development of ideas and plans. Researchers: The most adventurous of all the departments. Researchers spend their time searching and researching events, creatures, people, botany, geography. Once they have completed a topic they report back to whoever requested whatever they went after. This could be a vast majority of tasks and could require the individual to be away from home for a while. Khemists: The Medics of the Vassal, they tend to the wounded and assist in surgery in any way necessary. Scientists: Similar to being Medics, Scientists execute more unique procedures. This could be from extracting bloods and mixing different chemicals together in order to try and discover something new. Prime Artificers: The Prime Artificers are the practical creators of inventions, they find themselves being the ones executing the work that is required, whether this be from tinkering, forging, brewing and so forth. Without the Artificers there would be no Mechanikas. Codex Scribes: The vassal scribes take pleasure in writing and documenting Mechanikas’s findings along with any lore, documentations, history etc. They also manage the vassal library and treat such a place as a sanctuary of knowledge. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Purity Seals ∘₊✧⚙︎ Purity seals are a right of passage for members and associates to pass through Mechanikas and the realm without questioning. This is regarding their status or alignment of evil. The tests conducted before issuing a seal verifies that the bearer of the seal is not a heretic and has no relation to being a Darkspawn. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Iron Choir ∘₊✧⚙︎ The Iron Choir exists for a single purpose to protect the continuity of Mechanikas, its people, its machinery and its image. Where others might see a city of gears and scripture, the Choir sees a living engine whose rhythm can never falter. They are the guardians of that rhythm. Their purpose can be summed up in two main pillars pillars: ⚙︎1. Defense of Mechanikas The Iron Choir is both the first and last line of defense for Mechanikas. They respond to external threats with brutal efficiency, they face the corrupted with pure force, burning them for their impureness to the realm. To them, every enemy is a potential disruption in the city's sacred cycle, one they are sworn to eliminate. ⚙︎ 3. Enforcement of the Law Enforcers of the will of the Servitory Council are the Choir. Their work involves maintaining order in the streets, defending the Relic Halls, and acting against rogue artificers, malfunctioning constructs, and heretical darkspawn who threaten the stability of the vassal. ⚙︎₊✧∘ What They Do Day to Day ∘₊✧⚙︎ Patrol the outerworks and underworks of the city Test and calibrate siege engines and sacred machinery Monitor untested individuals. Escort scholars, priests and inventors across dangerous sectors Practice resonance drills to maintain alignment with the city's core frequency. Respond to localized emergencies, such as malfunctioning constructs or structural collapses. From training the Iron Choir are programmed to seek out justice in every situation they find themselves in. They hone the ability to remain calm and collected in all scenarios that are thrown their way. The Iron Choir live to serve Mechanikas, protecting all that dwell within its walls from the heretics of the realm, they are tasked with burning the corrupted and purging all that associate with any form of darkspawn. They directly report to the Council, specifically the Lawspindle. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Subroutine ∘₊✧⚙︎ Subroutines are the citizens of Mechanikas, living quietly among the other denizens of the machine vassal. They spend much of their time beneath the surface, in dimly lit corridors and vaulted chambers. From these depths they observe the world above with a patient, analytical curiosity, rarely intervening yet always attentive. Their culture is ancient and idiosyncratic, marked by layered traditions, precise etiquette, and a deep reverence for the strange blend of technology and alchemy that shapes their society. Most Subroutines follow the faith, participating in elaborate rites that honor the subtle patterns of the world. Though their customs may seem opaque to outsiders, their devotion is sincere. Still, beneath all ritual and structure, most Subroutines take simple pleasure in existing within such a refined and wondrous environment, one where every circuit, corridor, and current feels like part of a living tapestry they belong to. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Technological Capacity ∘₊✧⚙︎ Mechanikas is capable of producing incredible amounts of engineered machinery and sophisticated siege implements, its forges and foundries working with precision and innovation. Equally known are the masterfully crafted prosthetics, mechanical mounts, experimental devices, and weapon systems. Its industries are shaped heavily by three great traditions of craft: ⚙︎ Alchemy ⚙︎ Animatii ⚙︎ Smoggers Taking these disciplines all together enables Mechanikas to stand as a hub of invention and mechanized mastery, an industrial heart whose creations shape the world far beyond its iron horizons. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ The Noostarum ∘₊✧⚙︎ -⚙︎ The Library ⚙︎- Mechanikas takes great pride in the immense archive of scriptures and engineered knowledge preserved within its grand library. The structure itself is a marvel towering stacks of etched metal tablets, scrolls of knowledge and bound volumes that hum faintly with stored insight. To scribes, researchers, and wandering thinkers, the library is nothing short of a labyrinth of enlightenment. Its custodians guide visitors through winding halls where knowledge is cataloged with precision. Anyone seeking to study, invent, or operate within Mechanikas finds the library to be an invaluable resource. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ Roles of Mechanikas ∘₊✧⚙︎ Lead Researcher: Project Overseer for all Research operations. Lead Khemist: Medical Overseer for all Medical Operations/Projects. Lead Scribe of the Codex: Scripture Overseer for all Scripture Writings being published under Mechanikas. High Priest: Keeper of the Faith, the High Priest keeps the Khazmicron as their best interest ensuring all are inline with its visions. Chaplin: Religious Educator on Khazmicron, these individuals devote their life and time to educating people on the faith. Cogwright: Merchants within Mechanikas, these individuals travel far and wide to come and sell their wares in the vassal. Functionary: Stewards of Mechanikas. Scholar of Trades: An individual who seeks how the order works but hasn't decided their path yet. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ ⚙︎₊✧∘ housing & Markets ∘₊✧⚙︎ Mechanikas’s Housing & Market districts are broken down into different region names. Servo I - VI: Commercial Circuitory I - VIII: Residential Gladius I - IV: Residential Precursor I - VI: Commercial The commercial districts bring the most interesting wares to Mechanikas, from the selling of Books, Alchemy Brews, Herbs, Animatii Creations & Inventions, Smoking Utensils and Rare and Interesting Items to everyday resources, foods, alcohol and so forth. ⚙︎ ⸻⸻⸻✯⸻⸻⸻ ⚙︎ https://discord.gg/bx77ZPzUYu
