The undead got really corny after a while, and people stopped appreciating it. At first you had the whole mystique factor, and you only bothered those who wanted to be bothered (ie., Snowy Fields, occasional Bell kidnappings, and lone travelers). After a while, it really just became imposing when you guys walked into a city by breaking blocks in the back of the wall. And you lost your mystique when you started popping up like gophers several times a day on King's Road. That, and several RP mishaps that made people start to dislike many of the members. I mean, the every post in the ban report section concerned the undead. I'm all for some destructive faction, but the undead got tiresome because of the way they imposed conflict on you. You either had your parents killed by the undead and then magically ran to side with them, or they shot lightning at you every day, so you ran to side against them.

I'd like to see DB become more of a warmongering, chaos inciting clan instead of just petty jobs. But now it's my turn to be a little inactive. I'm still on pretty much every day, just not for very long. That said, I'll stay a consultant for now.

OOC: Is this a legitimate empirical science approach, or more of a philosophical kind? The thing is, most laymen on this server some-how know the composition of the ground 60 meters down; everyone knows all the mobs, and in 1.9 the potions will likely be quite basic. I'm totally for this, but more in the RP sense than the actual discovery sense. You could easily write books about why you think pigs are pink, or why arrows hit the ground instead of traveling in the air indefinitely. I would love to join, but it's not in my character to; so I have to pass.
