It's the only reason I don't play on Lotc's server, the players on it are really aggressive and don't even have a link of any kind to Lotc.

I truly feel sorry for you, bud. Installing DayZ was hell for me as I'm not exactly great with computers ^_^ All I can think that you should check is: (in no particular order) Install BattleEye Anti-Cheat. Run both ArmA2 and ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead as administrator of the computer. ( If your parents have an account on your comp, it's likely their account, if the computer only has your account on, no worries.) Download Six Updater AND Six Launcher, run Six Updater first. If you bought ArmA2 and OA on Steam, right click OA, then launch 'Combined Operations'. ( Honestly I have no idea what difference it makes, but it doesn't hurt to try. All I do to get on DayZ is go on Six LAUNCHER, click Verify/Update in the big orange box on the far left then find a server and join! Bear in-mind that you will have to verify/update after every time you close the launcher. Leaving a server doesn't matter, but it only takes a minite or two anyway ^_^ Hope I helped somehow, keep trying, DayZ is well worth it!

Quick question for you guys? (I'm not sure if there is somewhere that this is cleared-up, if there is said place, please can you direct me to it?) I am banned from Lotc's server yet I've been a'lurking and noticed that a few of the current members here share my love for DayZ. So, my question is, can a player that is banned from Lotc's server join the DayZ server?

It doesn't matter what is in there, in-character, very few actually know what's inside. Simply guessing the contents is all you can do. Same for the tnt, you can't possibly be 100% certain it will be as effective as planned. I look forward to hearing/seeing/partaking in this event! Try not to update the ban reports thread too guys ;)
