  1. Ellesha smiled as she sat outside of the vacant burrow, her hand quickly scribbling down its locations as she skipped off to Graeme Parker's burrow. As she reached the door, she slid a small note under and into the houses, smiling as she muttered "Not long till my pretty little burrow" To whomever finds the note ((Probably Graeme)), it reads: "Dear my Parker I am looking to live in one of the lovely burrows around here. If you could please contact me I think I have one in mind which looks lovely. Yours sincerely, Elle" The note appears to be written on the back of a pencil drawing of the vale at sunset, surrounded by fields of flowers
  2. *Aeven stands to the left of the stable, his face covered by a dark hood. After a few hours, Aeven steps back in before quickly snatching up the note and making his way back to the side of the stables as he opens the letter and reads. Aeven gives a quick nod, pulling a bottle of ink and a quill from his pocket, turning the parchments over as he quickly writes something onto the back* ((I will now take the more "detailed" information to Pm's :) ))
  3. *A sealed and blank envelope has been left in the stables of Arethor, nailed to the lower part of the back wall. On the front of the envelope it is completely blank except for the words "Thorn"* "I require a person of high status to be taken "Care of". However before I go into further details, I would wish to enquire about your price and terms. This may be discussed in person if you wish or by letter."
  4. Okay gents, lets calm it a little. These comments are getting a little heated. Step back for two minutes and calm down, then come back with a better attitude.
  5. Thankyou very much Ben for addressing this. The outstanding amount of hate the Kharajyr have been receiving as of late needs to be addressed in a mature and flame free manor. My two sense about this is that of basically what Ben has already described. We as the Kha' may divide the RP up a small amount, however look at the other races spread among Azulon. Surely they themselves are spreading the RP thin themselves through various towns, settlements, guild halls and even odd taverns spread all over the landscape. If you wish to bring RP more centralised, why not move your tavern to a city, or a nearby town instead of out in the middle of nowhere?? Just put it into consideration. Much love, Thunder.
  6. However the lightness of the temp server is what made it fun.. Sometimes the hardcore'ness of the server can get a little boring with how strict it is. Don't get me wrong, I like the rules, it stops mindless stupidity but it is nice to have a little freedom for once instead of having numerous apps and time to wait to create a house or a small fort to survive in. I like the regular server, but saying anyone who thought the temp was good should feel bad is just the wrong way to act if I'm honest.
  7. Woah woah, space. The temp server was better than the last few weeks of LOTC combined. I can't speak for you, but for the people I have talked to they said it was alright. The RP was findable and as long as you weren't in the major population centre you weren't being pvp'ed every second. And really, thats what it was. Light RP, which was a lovely change from the hardcore lore intensive RP we have to deal with all of the time on the regular map with the regular plugins and permission base.
  8. Honest I enjoyed the temp map more than I have Azulon for the past few weeks. I found one of my characters old friends, Kayne and we survived out in his fort for the remainder, sheltering from RP snow storms and building a nice little home for ourselves underground. We steered clear of the main RP'ing centre as we knew that alot of No-Rp killing was happening but we still found ourselves being visited by numerous characters looking for either shelter of food. Even one or two bandits on occasions which we had to fight off. We even found ourselves being affected by the main events due to the roaring coming from just north of our position, which brought a new light to the RP we were having. Overall a very fun night for myself and I hope that these happen more often, as unlikely as it may be. ((This is not me saying lets break the server more often, this is me saying I would like to see more of these small little vanilla worlds held up, possibly on the alternate server? Just a thought :P))
  9. *Kara sighs, his head looking down to the ape for a moment before he returns his gaze to Sathera* Sathera, yu cannawt leave thees he'awr.. Fur now eet cawn stay, butt'a eet mawst be gawn soon othawrwise Kha' weel get sick from eet.
  10. Kara grumbles, looking at the dead ape behind her, turning his attention back to her as he meets her eyes "Killing auf the apes is nawt a problem, butt'a bringing the'awr bodies he'awr infront auf the kittawns ees. Get eet out auf sight nuw befawr you scare the Kha' furthawr." Kara looks to her, his expression stern yet simple as he awaits her responce.
  11. Kara lays at the top of the canopy, watching the sun rise over Xer'Tlassu as his ears prick, scrambling up as he grabs his short sword from the adjacent branch and leaps down from tree to tree until his reaches the ground with a thud. Kara rears himself up onto two legs, his ears scanning as he hears the scream once more, darting for the entrance to Xer'Tlassu It took only a minute for Kara to reach the entrance, though as he approached his nose forced him to stop, the un-mistakable scent of blood echoing through his senses. Kara however pressed on to the entrance, pushing through the group of Kharajyr as he looks down to the Ape, his eyes widening at Sathera, imediately turning back to Gtar "Gtawr, get'a thees Kittawns away frawm thees! Nuw!" Kara pauses for a moment, turning back to Sathera as he scans over the humans body for a brief moment "Sathera, wutt'a haw've yu dawn?!"
  12. MC Username: THUNDER37 Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread): Kitten_Ghakarr Character Skillset: 100 Smithing 100 Swords 75 Mining 25 Woodcutting RP'ly: Ghakarr's greatest asset in his teenage years and throughout his adulthood is knowledge, his thirst for it never ending and always craving more. Though Ghakarr's father is a feared warrior and leader, Ghakarr himself is almost the complete opposite being a fairly weak Kha' who takes no interest in fighting or being phenomenally social. Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender): Four year old pantera Kitten, Male, dark blue eyes, silky fur, is much smaller than what he should be for his age, and he's very cute. Personality: Ghakkar is a rather shy Kha’ at the time of his being a kitten and tends to stay clear of the majority of Kha’, seeking to amuse himself rather than try and join in with others or try and communicate with them. Though later in his life this may change as he becomes more mature and older. Please include a short bio of your character's life: Ghakarr was born from Morthawl and Sathera in a litter of four, Ghakarr being the runt of the litter. For over four years now Ghakarr has lived in the den of the Tla, never phenomenally being noticed or payed particular attention to. (I do appologise for the short bio, but seeing as I’m taking on an already existing Kha’ and his young age I cannot particularly say a lot) Character's ambitions: Ghakkar as a kitten wishes for nothing more than to play, his love for fun and his mother allowing him for a never ending craving to be noticed and played with. Though as Ghakarr will age, so will his thirst for knowledge and an understanding of the wider world around him. Including the cultures of apes and the other races of Asulon. _---Situational Rp Questions---_ 1. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. Ghakarr sits in the tall grass, his body almost buried completely in the shrubbery as he plays peacefully in the bright sunlight of the summer morning. Though Ghakarr’s ears soon perk, the sound of footsteps approaching as he almost instinctively ducks, his body lying as flat to the ground as he can manage as the human passes him by. Oblivious to his whereabouts or even presence in that location. Ghakarr raises himself as the footsteps disappear into the distance, his heart racing as he still lies fairly low to the ground. Fear darting through his mind along with a craving ambition to follow the human. As Ghakarr's craving heightens he begins to rise from the tall grass, his ears twitching as he looks around for the ape, wandering off on all fours as he searches for the human. 2. As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak. Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!" He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: Ghakarr at first simply stares at the Dwarf, having no comprehension of what the Dwarf is saying or even attempting to convey to him. Though as the Dwarf continues to speak Ghakarr can sense the harsh nature and loud volume in the Dwarfs voice Ghakarrs ears lower as he turns, quickly making his way from the Tavern as he continues to walk away from it and into the nearest shaded area where he can hide. (Realistically this would never happen, as Ghakarr is very shy and likes to be around his parents at such a young age, though if it did happen, that is what would have occurred.) 3. One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? Ghakarr just manages to pry open the door with his snout, it being left slightly ajar from his fathers leaving earlier that day. As the Kha’ speaks Ghakarr simply looks at him, the words meaning nothing to the kitten as he simply licks his paw and stares blankly at the Kha’. His attention suddenly distracted by a small reflection of light on the floor which he runs to, attempting to catch and eat as it disappears and reappears in various spots on the floor. (Not really much I could write. sorry for the short answers but as a kitten theres not much I can do except look cute and purr :3) Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? I du. Please include a screenshot or 3D render of your character's skin http://preview.novas...r.com/Dsj1L.png);pose(undefined);angle(297,27,0)
  13. Aeven sits patiently for a few moments, turning his attention to Gulroid as he speaks "Gulroid.. I would firstly like to confirm to you that yes, at first when I had heard of your selling of the city I was irrevocably annoyed, even angered beyond reckoning at one point by your actions." "However, my attitude has calmed, and I now do see the light behind your decision to an extent." Aeven takes a moment to think, his expression calm as he looks to Gulroid "There are, however. A few things I would wish for you to address with the Queen before she begins using the land for her own intent." "The first of this is the matter of our fallen comrades in the battle for Alras. I would ask that a statue, or a memorial of some kind is erected in the vicinity of the farms where the battle took place, giving praise and memory to those who gave their life in defence of this land." "Secondly, I would like for all hidden passages that the dwarves have erected in the city to be revealed, as I deem it unfair for these passages to remain hidden when the city is under new rule." Aeven looks around the room as he finishes, looking to the Goldhands response.
  14. A remote chuckle leaves Aeven's lips as he turns to Kayne Don't tell me what I should'a done Kayne.. I've been busy taking care of this place, even after ye leader here sold it. Now I'm here fer a nice chat, not to be belittled by you. So shut yer trap and let constructive words be spoken. With that Aeven turns back, looking around the other end of the room, awaiting for someone to speak
  15. Aeven enters, his ageing eyes looking around the room, giving a slight nod to each of the Dwarves before taking a seat at the table and speaking "Right lads, first of all I'd like te know your reasons for selling this land.." Aeven turns his head to Gulroid, awaiting a responce
  16. Name: Aeven Velorum Race: Human Tourney: 1v1 With stone swords
  17. Aeven's footsteps clatter on the cobbles as he walks along the streets of Alras, stepping towards the Dwarven hold as his long coat flutters in the wind behind him. It was only as Aeven approached the entrance of the Dwarven hold that the guards revealed themselves, their hands firmly placed on their blades as they look to him with stern eyes when one of them speaks. "Hold it right there, Lord Gulroid is having a meeting an-" Aeven blurts out, his voice stern as he look to the guard with his ageing eyes "Lad! Do not even start with me right now.. This city would not even be 'ere without me so shift yer arse out'a me way before I shift it fer ye. Go get Gulroid if ye must but I am attending that meeting. Go on, get him and stop wasting me god damned time already." Aeven stands, placing his arms behind his back as his hands join in await of the soldiers responce
  18. ((I am taking myself out of this roleplay, sorry for any inconvenience but I have coursework coming out of my ears at this time and have not even a second to spare, let alone enough time to keep up with forum roleplay. Bye for a little while <3 Much love. ~Thunder.))
  19. How about you guys simply do a little something that doesnt involve giving things to the donators? Why dont you simply have a news letter, every month written by VAQ himself or Native which lists every person who had donated that month that shows how much the team is appreciative? Surely this is more of an incentive than simply donating and thats that? Just my personal idea but it may help to boost the incentive without adding more material perks.
  20. Will there ever be a tax introduced to the Kharajyr community? For example: Farmers: Must give two stacks of wheat to the Tla per elven week for storage. Miners: Must give ten stacks of cobblestone, or seven and a half stacks of pure stone to the Tla every elven week for storage. ((Assorted gems are also accepted)) Hunters: Must give a sack of any sort of meat to the Tla every elven week. And so on and so forth..
  21. *Elle walks by the notice board, her gaze drawn for a moment by the scroll as she continues to write a reply and pin it underneath* Name: Ellesha Nightingale Arrived: A few elven days ago.
  22. *As Aeven stood listening to the two scoff and shout at each other, he took a moment to step over to the inside edge of the wall, looking to what he, Rasun and many other had created. Smiling in glee at the wonderous city. Aeven turns on his heels once more, giving a blatant ignorance to the dwarves as he marches down the wall, marvelling and he and Kain's masterpiece.*
  23. Not until I get a word in with Gulroid, I want te know exactly whats going on from both sides of the table miss.
  24. *Aeven looks to Kyral, his anger boiling inside* Where is Gulroid?!
