We need to remove the /bread plugin...it makes it extremely unprofitable to be a farmer, handicapping a profession that historically over 60% of the population participated in. We can't do /iron or /wood, we either have to get it ourselves or find someone to sell it to us, why should food be any different? Or at least make /bread give you like 3 bread so you can survive until you buy more food. We have no farmers, bc we have no need for them, but in any working civilization (that doesn't use large machines to farm), the majority of the population is in agriculture. Remove /bread>more food needed>more farmers>more peasant and field rp>more dynamic and rich experience.

Eating in any survival game, getting the food is usually nothing but a chore. With /bread and the fact so many people are chef/farmers, food is easily accessible and never really been profitable. Maybe in the sense where you help supply a quota of farmed goods to a nation as a way to pay to live there, or giving back to it's community(basically not living there for free)

Not true. Plenty of people eat through 24 monkbreads(Which isn't all that good, just something so you don't starve while looking for food). Reason why farm to make food seems unprofitable is often foods are given out for free. I know I've done this with different types of bread, meats, stews. Simply by placing them in a town's food chest.
Or they just got a person that farms all this or can cook it because they got a stockpile of supplies which ends up being free.
And the idea it creates more dynamic, rich rp isn't as much as you think it is. Though, I;ve met people who RPly are farmers.

What idiot put the server to 1.12, forge isn't even released for said version yet

I just read the Ban Report on MrSnowbal and to be honest it makes me quite sad and disappointed. Being the kind and merciful soul I am I agreed to tutor MrSnowbal in the fabulous art of Roleplay before the ban. Well it did not go so well as he was not willing to admit his mistakes and move on, when I gave him actual logic and reason, he told me to 'shut up'. I finally grew some backbone and said that I would not help him anymore, and guess where he ends up, BANNED.
To be honest I'm beginning to lose faith in the new players, too many edgies going about. Some can be reasoned with and turned into productive members of the community, some have to be purged out of the server altogether through a swift and precise BAN. Though the extend of the ignorance of this player really triggers me, I hope we don't get any more players with the level of salt level and cringe. Though I fear this is just the beginning...

Again some people just don't take to the scene and try to think that it's more a movie rather than interaction amongst other real people. Sure lots of edgy people come- A lot of us were that kind of edgy at some point in our RP careers. These people who can are able to understand how RP actually works eventually get better and usually it's done by helping hands. I wouldn't fret about one person.
