I went outside once... the graphics were great. But the gameplay sucked.

That's because you're a noob at outside.
What you need to do is first collect all the leaves on your front lawn, then, you can get the achievement of LEAF RAKER.
Then, you grab a bunch of reusable bags and go to the nearest grocery store, buy one lemon, two pineapples, and a pound of beef (Sirloin), and buy it from the front counter. There, you'll get the achievement "GROCERY SHOPPER".
That's only one of the few things you can do in "OUTSIDE...
