  Really depends on how old you are, and if moving in with other family would uproot you to a high level of discomfort for yourself.

  I'm 14. My mom is alcoholic and has a very unstable mental condition. This has been happening for a few years now. I feel I just have to leave.

  Trust me man, value your mom as much as she can, you never know when you can lose her, and believe me, it will tear your life apart if you really love her. But, if she really is an alcoholic and mentally unstable, you might want to look into moving in with one of your friends, or going to boarding school. Do the boarding school one, its what I did cause of my brothers haha.
