  1. The days of the Haeseni Summer continued to pass, the heat the same as the days before, but still the Queen noticed a continual degradation of the blanket stock within the Spring Palace. The thief of the aforementioned quilts was no secret to those within the Palace, however the proper reasoning continued to remain unknown. "Perhaps we should have him looked at" commented she one night to the father of the sleepless boy @GMRO
  2. A QUEEN’S JOTTINGS A Curation: The Second Edition A depiction of the Queen and her companions in the Rhenyari homeland of Ba’as Author’s note: As my time as Queen moves by, I find myself more comfortable and situated within my post. Although infrequent, these jottings serve as a useful reminder to those within our Kingdom of the goings on of our Courts. -HRM, Amadea Ulyssa of Susa, Queen of Hanseti-Ruska 13th of Wzuvar ag Byvca, 435 E.S THE CHANGING OF THE GRAND LADY As in my first curation, it seems fitting to start this jotting with good news. Although the Kingdom was saddened to hear of the passing of the previous Grand Lady, GOD bless her soul, with the departure of one comes the arrival of another. The closure of one door leads to the opening of a new one, so on and so forth. With that, I would like to announce and welcome a new Grand Lady to our Court’s inner council: HER EXCELLENCY, THE GRAND LADY, DOROTHEA ISABEL BARBANOV-BIHAR @meowcelina May you join me in wishing her well in her upcoming endeavours, dear reader, as she has large shoes (but, failing lungs) to fill. THE VACANCIES OF THE INNER COUNCIL As Dorothea moves into a Grander role (excuse my pun), our courts face a new hole. As it stands, the position of Court Chamberlain, along with the Court Custodian remain unoccupied. I ask any interested Lords or Ladies to make themselves known to myself or my Grand Lady so an interview may be conducted. For those unfamiliar with the hierarchy of such positions, but interested in the Royal Courts, do observe our posting on the Queen’s Council. PEACE IN OUR TIME With the dropping of our enemies from the war at hand, we reach a period of victory, a time to rejoice. The Queen’s Council does deem it fitting to host a celebration not only for the Haeseni peoples, but the allies of the dual-monarchy. Victories must be acknowledged, and our brave heroes celebrated. Any who wish to contribute to the upcoming festivities are asked to reach out to the Grand Lady. News of the celebration will shortly follow. ON WARDSHIP The last published contribution of our late Grand Lady, a notice on wardship within the Royal Courts. Largely the work of Dorothea Isabel, an official notice on the process of wardship within the Spring Palace has been released. Those wishing to ward within the Royal Courts are asked to first read our publishing, then reach out to my Grand Lady or myself. As a foreign ward myself, one must note that wardship is not limited to those within the dual-monarchy. All those wishing to ward under our Inner Council shall be accepted, regardless of birth place. ON FASHION IN THE COURTS As per usual, our Mistress of the Wardrobe has been hard at work. New publishing's of the second season of Moda i ve Kort have followed since the last curation. One can only keep an eye out for what else the seamstress has hidden up her sleeves (many needles)
  3. Amadea was a really proud house wife
  4. VE MORRIVI PRIKAZ THE SPRING PALACE KRUSAE ZWY KONGZEM Issued by the THE CROWN On this 4th day of Tov ag Yermey of 434 ES Va ve Edlervik Through many winters did the Nikirala Prikaz stand. The jewel of the capital, its grand presence looming over the Karosgrad square. However as time affects us all, its toll was evident on the structure of the Haeseni staple. Although our people and our nation remain strong, the integrity of the Winter Palace did struggle. Thus, when we were afforded the weight of the crown, it was our royal duty to supply the Haeseni peoples with a new jewel, one to withstand the test of time. A years-long architectural process came to fruition. With winter, so follows the spring. It was therefore deemed appropriate to dub the newly renovated station of the royal line of Barbanov-Bihar: Ve Morrivi Prikaz | The Spring Palace IV JOVEO MANN, HER ROYAL MAJESTY, Amadea of Susa, Queen Consort of Hanseti and Ruska, Princess Consort of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duchess Consort of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margravine Consort of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Countess Consort of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, and Toruv, Viscountess Consort of Varna, Baroness Consort of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Thurant, Venzia and Astfield, Lady of the Westfolk, Protector of the Highlanders, etcetera.

  6. THE NIKIRALA RENOVATION A CALL FOR A DEMOLITION SQUAD KRUSAE ZWY KONGZEM Issued by the THE CROWN On this 13th day of Msitza ag Dargund of 433 ES Va ve Edlervik Since the Haeseni first settled in the Northern reaches of Almaris, our home capital of Karosgrad has weathered many years of war, strife, and prosperity alike. Like our capital, our very own Nikirala Prikaz has witnessed much of the same, though as Karosgrad has stood valiantly, the same cannot be said for our beloved Prikaz. Years upon years have chipped away at the rufescent fortifications of those Prikaz walls, leaving our palace in a vulnerable state, especially during a time of war such as this. Therefore, Her Majesty has deemed it fit to demolish the current Prikaz and construct a grander, safer version in its stead. Before the Crown administrates the construction of a new palace, however, Her Majesty implores all of our citizens to assist in the demolition of the current Prikaz if they so wish. Hard hats and pickaxes, among other various tools necessary for the process of demolition will be distributed amongst the volunteers. The Crown extends its heartfelt gratitude to those willing to aid in the demolition of the current Prikaz. IV JOVEO MANN, HER ROYAL MAJESTY, Amadea of Susa, Queen-consort of Hanseti and Ruska, Princess-consort of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duchess-consort of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margravine-consort of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Countess-consort of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, and Toruv, Viscountess-consort of Varna, Baroness-consort of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Thurant, Venzia and Astfield, Lady of the Westfolk, Protector of the Highlanders, etcetera. HER EXCELLENCY, Isabel Baruch, Lady Palatine of Hanseti-Ruska, Duchess of Valwyck, Countess of Ayr, Viscountess of Voron, Baroness of Laval and Riveryn, Lady of Jorenstadt, Guardian of the Hanseti Coast
  7. The Queen of Haense admired her poster of Ser Grigori as she heard tell of the successful battle
  8. Amadea ensured the Baron was delivered a large hunk of cheese within his cell, it's very important for a consort to be a good hostess, after all
  9. As the battle concluded, Amadea found herself adjacent to her husband, gazing at one of the many prisoners of war. The Sun shined, its smile landing upon her features. What a lovely Haeseni summer day. -- ANYA AYNAL rose her glass to ANNA AYNAL and AMELYA AYNAL in toast "The UNION may win today, but OREN does not sisters!" she cheered with her good hand, some liquid sloshing to the gaping hole in her face @sarahbarah@PerfectlyPeachy
  10. The Orenian-born Haeseni Queen tucked away the checkers board her home nation had taught her to play -- it was time for chess.
  11. happy birrday :) 27 is such a big year!

  12. "Basho!" exclaimed the Haeseni Queen as she moved off to check the progress on the pink capes
  13. Amadea smiled the suns smile as she watched her daughter smile the suns smile while her daughter watched Karl III smiling the suns smile.
  14. Amadea's eye twitched in the face of the rampant spelling errors, the Queen swiftly moving off to collect a better squad of governors for the enthusiastic Kid-Koenas
  15. somewhere deep within the Nikirala, various seamstresses moved about -- many pink capes in hand, in preparation.
  16. Amadea scratched her head, shortly thereafter breaking the news to the overly-excitable heir @gusanoarentonio
  17. A QUEEN’S JOTTINGS A Curation: The First Edition A depiction of the Queen, circa 428 E.S Author’s note: In my sifting through the archives of our courts, I did come across the writings of Queen Isabel of Valwyck. It was a habit of my predecessor to publish the goings on of her court during her reign, a hobby I would like to personally adapt. Thus, my reader, this shall serve as the first edition of what I would like to make a routine publishing of my court. A curation of the inner workings of the Nikirala. -HRM, Amadea Ulyssa of Susa, Queen of Hanseti-Ruska 15th of Msitza ag Dargund, 428 E.S THE BIRTH OF THE ROYAL TWINS It seems fitting to start this edition with good news. On the first of Msitza ag Dargund, I was fortunate enough to make my way through a successful third pregnancy. The King and myself are happy to welcome not one, but two new royals into the line of Bihar. It is quite clear that the third time is the charm as alongside her brother, we welcomed a very healthy and very loud baby girl. It is my dearest hope that she shall one day prove herself worthy of the title of Princess Royal, but until then we ask for best wishes for the twins; THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES: ANALIESA JOSEFINA BARBANOV-BIHAR, DUCHESS OF KREDEN and NIKOLAS LEOPOLD BARBANOV-BIHAR, DUKE OF GREYWYN. THE EXPANSION OF THE INNER COUNCIL Following the publishing of the positions of my courts, I am pleased to add three new faces to my inner council. Although the identity of the Mistress of the Whispers shall be withheld due to the nature of the position, the vacancies of the Mistress of the Arts, and Curator of the Crown Jewels have been addressed. Her Ladyship, Theodoysa Barclay will fill the position representing the arts, whilst her Ladyship, Barbara Morovar will be her counter-part in jewels. I’ve high expectations for the pair and wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavours. UPCOMING EVENTS IN KAROSGRAD THE FESTIVAL OF SAINT TUVYA The first festival held by our lovely Lady Maer it to be held at the end of this Saint’s Week, In celebration of both summertide and the Saint Tuvya, a multi-month festival shall be held in the nation’s capital of Karosgrad. THE SNAILULA FINALE What has been a multi-year competition shall be coming to an end this Saint’s Week. The final countdown, the final battle shall be held upon the Ducal grounds of Reinmar. I’m personally hoping for a TEAM RHENYARI victory, however the odds are not in our favour following the allowance of the racing of the Colborn team in absentia. Perhaps a formal complaint will be filed by myself beforehand, only time will tell. ON FASHION IN THE COURTS As per usual, our Mistress of the Wardrobe has been hard at work. A first publishing of the second season of Moda i ve Kort, the official curation of the coronation garb of my husband and myself has been released. One can only keep an eye out for what else the seamstress has hidden up her sleeves (many needles). ON ETIQUETTE IN THE COURTS It would seem inappropriate for myself to highlight the acts of our Mistress without touching upon yet another great collection of work from our Grand Lady. Publishings that have been in the making since my ascension to the Haeseni throne have been made available to the general public, both on expected courtier etiquette within my courts, along with the positions available within the workings of the Queen’s Council.
  18. Monthly Player Appreciation April/May 2022: @livrose and @Xarkly With their time as leadership coming to an end, it only feels appropriate to recognize Liv and Conor this month. I don’t think it’s possible to overstate how much of an impact the pair have made on our community during their time as King and Queen. Bringing Haense through a pretty significant revival, we’re taking on the reigns of a vibrant, flourishing community thanks to them. Conor was one of the first people in Haense that I was introduced to, even if it wasn’t on a personal level. I remember coming to Haense on my, at the time, Orenian character during the Troll Event timeline. Conor would put hours of effort into making a fun rp situation for such a small group of people, and on more than one occasion at that. His commitment to rp still continues to astound me, rp which I only learned to appreciate more and more during my time in Haense. Conor is just genuinely a good individual, who wants people to enjoy the game that we play. Now, Livrose. I’ve known Liv, or at least known of Liv since our time in Haelun’or. She used to tell me that she thought my character was an enigma, and she was bewildered when she learned that I had played her - but I have to say, I feel as if the roles have reversed during our time in Haense. It’s no secret to anyone how much I personally appreciate Liv - there’s no Shaydelicious without Livrose, but I know this sentiment is shared by a lot of people in this community. I remember when Liv first stepped in as Queen, she would miss out on social events and rush home just to run events for Haense in order to get the courts back in shape. She is one of the nicest people I have ever come across, which makes up for her awful sense of humour. Liv has consistently been dedicated to Haense for as long as I have been in this community (and before then as well), her efforts have not gone unnoticed, and I’m glad to have her as my friend. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LIV AND CONOR. THEY ARE JUST SO EPIC AND AWESOME AND I AM A DIEHARD FAN. OMG. Okay so I remember meeting Liv on my Norland persona and instantly loving her - and although I was intimidated by Conor at first as he played the very stoic Whisper Knight at the time, I think we became pretty great friends. That aside, I cannot thank you guys enough for all the work and love you have to put into this community – you guys have genuinely made Haense such a warm and welcoming place to be. You guys are my role models and have inspired me to pursue leadership and ambitious things in the community like working towards Palatine, joining Queen’s Council, etc. Genuinely some of my favourite humans on this server. I love you guys<33 please never change, you two are absolutely fantastic and wonderful. - Sarah Conor is the backbone of Haense storytelling, from his time as an ST carrying the event scene, to being able to create stories during his reign as King. His roleplay is something which every King after him should try to achieve, (even if he is a nerd.) Liv on the other hand, brings the community together, always happy being the one to talk to new players and help them on board, because the server when you first join can be quite daunting. They have both been treasures of Haense, even despite most of their time as nation leaders being in finals. - louis You are loved, you are appreciated. Thank you for all you’ve done for the community in growing and working hard. You two busted your ass for the last couple of months and totally deserve a day off. The roleplay was always touching, funny, or a mixture of both. Thank you guys for all the opportunities you gave me and your playerbase. Y’all definitely going down in history for it all. Loooooove yah - Zuziee (Ps. I will never stop skinning for you livrose) You are two of my absolute favourite people I’ve met on LoTC. Conor who I’ve known for what feels like ages now, feel like we’ve always had a lot in common that’s allowed us to become close friends, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be your Lord Palatine, I think we’ve really had a fantastic run together and I hope that even after all of this we can continue to work together. Liv, I watched you come to Haense on your Amador as the head of the House, and it’s been such a pleasure watching and helping you grow into the playerbase through everything, from Rosalind to Fenika to Emma, you’ve been nothing but a great friend. Love you both. - Gus Conor has on multiple occasions throughout his kingship proven himself with every fiber of his being worthy of the position that everyone could see he deserved for a long time. From the days where it took him two weeks to reply to a message, he has since, on occasion, managed to get it down to a week. I can only say I'm very proud to have been apart of his kingship, and that's he's definitely one of my role models towards story-telling that I hope I can take inspiration from. Livrose throughout her time has been a great friend to me in both times high and low. I think our community can say its incredibly lucky to have her as apart of it as from her beginning in Haense she's been a real light in the community as someone friendly and easily approachable. I really hope you all the best in where you go from here and beyond. - GMRO I am incapable of being sincere, even if I feel and mean it, but I will say it’s been nothing short of a pleasure getting to help Haense under the two of you. The only times I can remember Conor being a pain in the arse is when you want him to respond to DMs, in which either he’s ignoring you or has forgotten how to breathe but somehow never winds up dead. Regardless though, he’s seen us through a time that the vast majority of other people would have crumbled under and Haense and its community are not only alive and kicking but thriving for his leadership as well as Liv bringing morale and roleplay all the way throughout which can’t be understated. The culture of Haense has forever changed thanks to you two. (P.S. I am still amazed months later that Liv has seen all the Star Wars films and somehow confused Obi-Wan Kenobi for C3PO because he has a “number” in his name) - Nolan The immense work either of the two have committed and done for Haense and the OOC community at large is indescribable in short. It’s very poetic finally being able to see out Conor and liv’s terms as the two top dogs as I still remember the day of getting invited to join leadership with the two. 650+ days ago was when I was first invited and you are at the light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s incredibly gratifying to be a witness for how much you both pulled off. So many activity records broken, so many panicked, hard working nights on discord, (one faulty community night resulting in 60+ deaths), and many more laughs thereafter. It’s been a wonder what you both have done in your times, can’t thank u enough for it. - mio :) Conor and Liv will be dearly missed as our King and Queen (although we still have the pleasure of Koenas-Mamej Emma), and they’ve left behind some massive shoes to fill. Thank you both, for everything. We appreciate you, and this month’s for you.

  20. As such, a month following their coronation, their majesties shall embark on a full vassal tour. Each landed peer of the Dual Monarchy is asked to prepare for the arrival of the reigning pair. The King and Queen shall remain within each vassal for a month at a time, during which the family shall be granted a private audience with their Majesties, and the opportunity to raise any grievances, or plans for the future that may present themselves. The vassals shall be toured in the following order: The Duchy of Reinmar, home to the Ducal House of Barclay The Duchy of Valwyck, home to the Ducal House of Baruch The Duchy of Vidaus, home to the Ducal House of Ruthern The County of Otistadt, home to the Comital House of Ludovar The Viscounty of Jerovitz, home to the Viscomital House of Kortrevich The Barony of Monstadt, home to the Baronial House of Amador The Barony of Ghaestenwald, home to the Baronial House of Morovar IV JOVEO MANN, HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, Karl III by the Grace of Godan, King of Hanseti and Ruska, Grand Hetman of the Army, Prince of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duke of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margrave of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Count of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, and Toruv, Viscount of Varna, Baron of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Thurant, Venzia and Astfield, Lord of the Westfolk, Fidei Defensor, Protector of the Highlanders, etcetera. 21. A Queen’s Jottings On Weddings, and Not Weddings Amadea, pictured with an arrangement of Florals most befitting. Author’s note: I applaud transparency, for lies - deception, will be the end of us all. As such, I have deemed it fit to publish my jottings taken throughout the Haeseni Peerage Wedding Season. Always one for weddings, it seemed appropriate to maintain a thorough list and rating of the various weddings throughout the years of our young adulthood. Various sections throughout this compilation were penned by a certain guest author, when events arose barring my attendance from such affairs. However, out of want of the maintenance of an accurate depiction of each wedding of importance, I deemed a replacement point of view to be more desirable to none. -HRM, Amadea Ulyssa of Susa, Queen of Hanseti-Ruska 1st of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1868 Lucien and Stefaniya’s wedding - A nice ceremony, filled with Orenians (surprisingly), I felt quite at home. Karl was rather zoned out through the ceremony, I think he’s quite tired. The King and Queen hosted their fiftieth birthday celebration earlier this day, and he had proposed to me during. A long day - but a wonderful day. Anyways - to the point of this, the wedding review. This will serve as the first union of the season for our generation, how exhilarating (and nerve wracking). The dress - 9/10 The seamstress outdid herself working on Stefaniya’s gown. Flowers seemed to be the theme of their wedding, which I applaud. Her cape hung nearly perfectly, and I swear when the light hit her just right she looked angelic (or perhaps, angle-ic for those who had occupied the chapel before the gaggle of guests was entertained) The groom - 10/10 What can I say, of course I’ll be biassed when reviewing Lucien, but it is well deserved. He was well poised and well dressed as always. Ever modest, but at peace on this day. I cannot express how much joy today brought me on his behalf. Finally The Kiss - 10/10 I am still taken aback by the display. To put it lightly - I believe it was quite clear to all those watching that this was a rather practised act. One can only imagine that their nuptials will be very fruitful. Overall, it was a lovely wedding. The decorations - floral, were beautiful. The atmosphere was cheerful, for the most part, and the pair were clearly very infatuated. I can only wish them the best in their future, and hope the same for myself. 9th of Tobias’ Bounty, 1868 Matyas and Adele’s Wedding - The title of this section is misleading - a falsehood, if you will. It should read what should have been Matyas and Adele’s Wedding, but I prematurely penned the title, and I do not wish to waste my paper so the title shall remain. Now, the wedding, or lack thereof. For reasons currently unbeknownst to myself, the Lord Ludovar proclaimed that the nuptials that were supposed to occur today would not. Whether they are to be postponed, or properly cancelled is still unsure. I can only hope that nothing terrible has occurred, as I’ve yet to meet with Lady Ludovar or Lord Alban. As such - my rating will be simple, as there was nothing to rate. 0/10. 9th of Tobias’ Bounty, 1868 Dorothea and Josef’s Wedding - Well, Wasn’t this a surprise. Hearsay strikes again. I don’t know if the rumours about Thea and Josef are true, for her sake I’ll assume the best and that they’re not, but we’ll all find out in a matter of months. The Queen demanded the two be wedded at once, a demand that I do not think she can be faulted for. This scandal could destroy Dorothea’s life if true. I don’t feel quite right putting numbers to the sheet for this wedding, it was rushed - and not planned. There was no celebration, no forewarning, and the groom left the Basilica nearly as quickly as he entered. There was no passion in the kiss, and half the pews were empty. Overall, I feel awful for the bride - but she was at least the saving grace for the affair. Despite the circumstances, Dorothea shone in her borrowed gown, her head held high through it all. I will of course, make an honourable mention for MOTHER Maya, who made this ceremony significantly more enjoyable. She spoke eloquently - as if she had been practising for years. She is the best Mother the church has ever seen. She should be Pontiff one day, she amazes me, I cannot wait to be her sister. [!] The writing for this entry would differ from the rest, it would be clear to the reader that this event was reviewed by an alternative author. 9th of Wzuvar ag Byvca, 422 Sergei and Aloisa’s Wedding - This wedding proved a surprise on account of the fact that the Prince chose not to use the Ruskan rite, and instead chose the traditional right. It seems it was made up for with the Princely wedding managing to obtain the Pontiff to do the ceremony. Very impressive! The dress - 7/10 A simple, yet somewhat elegant gown. The dress of Aloisa Barclay was perhaps lacking in any particular patterns or anything of particular note; though this was perhaps a design choice in obtaining the ideal and traditional wedding. Aloisa accompanied her dress with a tiara with a ruby set into the middle, which looked splendid. Overall, it did not “wow” but it was certainly befitting of a royal marriage. The groom - 8/10 Sergei had clearly touched up the sides of his hair as he stepped into the church, his fade having been preened extensively; it so seemed to match with his coronet exactly. The Kiss - 10/10 The pair were both extremely elegant in their manners for the kiss, and certainly found mouths agap at the skill and explosive nature of the kiss! One must note that even the Queen, Emma of Jerovtiz, did ask herself where they’d managed to learn that amount of expertise when it came to locking lips. 10th of Msitza ag Dargund, 422 Klara and Jakob’s Wedding - Roses! Had I known the flower would be so highly integrated into today’s ceremony I surely would have chosen a better flower to head this section - but, alas. I missed the last wedding - a royal one at that, so I am very glad to have been able to attend this event. My first time in public since my sister’s.. Letter. I’m grateful it was such a joyous event, a splendid place to make a return, filled with surprising faces! Well, I’m unsure how surprising Angelika and her beau can be labelled, but I always enjoy seeing them nonetheless. Even if the pair is down an eye. The dress - 10/10 I can recognize the stitching of the Mistress of the Wardrobe anywhere. Lady Morovar has outdone herself yet again. Now, some may believe I rate her gowns so high out of fear of backlash from the Mistress, but she deserves every raving review. She is a woman of talent, and Klara shone in her gown. The accented red, whether representative of her house colours or her willingness for love complimented her skin. The veil - although rather long for my taste, accentuated her devotion to God and her humbleness. Overall, it was a brilliant dress on a brilliant woman. The groom - 5/10 A nice enough man, it seems. In all honesty, I know very little about the groom, and paid very little attention to him during. I was much too busy conversing with the lovely Angelika to pay attention to anything other than her - the bride, and Karl when he was nearby. SO! The groom will receive the most mid rating possible in my scale - a five. The Kiss - 6/10 Unlike the groom, I’ll rate the kiss somewhat above mid. Klara seemed to be more enthusiastic towards the display than her now-husband. It was, it was a kiss. There’s not much else to say on it. All in all, it was a pretty standard wedding. The dress was the most exciting portion of it. The Lord Palatine was abused with sticky tails after the event, not really my kind of entertainment, but I’m sure some enjoyed it. 11th of Gronna ag Droba, 423 Isabel and Maric’s Wedding - A lovely wedding for a lovely couple. Their Lallybroch festival was a wonder, such a colourful town. The proceedings seemed very fitting for the whaling Duchy. Isabel shined, and Maric sure was a groom. The dress - 10/10 Isabel looks perfect in everything that she wears, so of course she’ll get a perfect rating today. Her gown was simple, but not understated. The addition of the draping tartan to pay homage to her Ayr heritage was beyond tasteful. A perfect gown, for what would be a perfect bride. The groom - 2/10 Good GOD he could have at least shaved. His outfit was nice enough, but he could have at least bothered to have new threads delivered for this PERFECT day. A haircut even - just SOMETHING. I was disappointed. He should have done better, his wife deserves nothing but the best. The Kiss - 1/10 I wish I could wash my eyes. I wish I could wipe this entire kiss from my memory. Maric completely fumbled the kiss, and to no fault of Isabel’s she could not even save it. I just hope there were no children in the audience watching. Overall, despite the many failings of the groom on this day it was a wonderful wedding. I only wish the pair the best in their future, and remind the groom that his now-wife’s best friend is marrying the Grand Prince, should he wish to fail her again. 11th of Joma ag Umund of 423 Margrait and Mikhail’s Wedding - Considering the .. events of the reception of this ceremony, once again I do not feel right rating the day using my normal scale. Instead, I will make short jottings on the day, and only rate the good. The dress - 10/10 Similar to her sister just a month prior, Margrait chose a simpler dress. I believe it was a lovely choice, as it accentuated the natural glow of the bride. Her braid was one of the most intricate hairstyles to ever grace my eyes, I didn't even realise you could grow hair so long. Brushing it must take hours. The groom - x/10 Unlike the last Ruthern, Mikhail was at least clean. That’s the only nice thing I have to say. The Kiss - x/10 Well, that sure was a kiss . . I think? [!] The writing for this entry would differ from the rest, it would be clear to the reader that this event was reviewed by an alternative author. 10th of Vzmey ag Hyff, 424 Our Wedding - Of course, this wedding of grandeur is sure to be highly rated, considering who the groom and the bride are! A royal wedding, bedecked in gold for a king and queen to be - it certainly was the event to behold. Without further ado, I will dive into the ratings. The dress - 10/10 The bride paid homage to her cultural roots by donning cream, beige, and ivory shades of Rhenyari garb. The dress was beautiful, seeing as it wasn’t too flashy, yet Her Majesty topped it all off with accents of purple, a truly fitting colour for the royal pair. The purple sash and the extravagant, golden circlet atop her head truly tied the outfit together. Needless to say, I loved her dress. My only qualm is that there could’ve been more plaid. Nonetheless, Amadea looked perfect in every single way imaginable. I am not biased because I am her best friend. The groom - 9/10 Now, His Majesty’s garb was a bit understated for a King to-be, in my humble opinion. The white tunic he fashioned himself with was rather dull, though his tailor certainly made it shine with pops of colour such as red and purple. Even better, the pair was matching! The golden chain and circlet he donned, as well as the purple drapery he styled across his shoulder definitely exuded royal elegance. Still not enough plaid, in my opinion. Aside from that, Karl, you did well. The Kiss - 10/10 Oh, my. As soon as the pair locked lips, you could most certainly tell that our King has had his share of practice. Now, now, I am not one to indulge in hearsay, although I am glad to say that Her Majesty kept up, from the looks of it! Regardless, it was quite the display of affection. One could tell that the pair truly loved one another. All in all, this wedding was certainly befitting of the Royal pair. The garbs donned by both parties, as well as the celebrations leading up to and following the wedding certainly deemed it an extravagant affair. I wish the pair all my best. Long may they reign. 5th of Jula ag Piov, 426 Matyas and Adele’s Wedding (again) - Perhaps a blessing from Mitras, a surprise to us all no less. It actually happened, the wedding that was (previously) not meant to be. After what I can assume to be many long conversations between the bride, the groom, and more importantly - the Father of the Bride, the ceremony actually occurred, and the two were wed in what was a completely normal fashion. Hopefully their ability to move past such a hump (literally) in the road will bode well for their future. The dress - 5/10 Adele looked pretty. The dress lacked the.. WOW factor that I’ve grown accustomed to over the past few weddings, but she looked pretty. She wore a white kokoshnik highlighted with gold- presumably a family heirloom. The details on her gown near her bodice were quaint, but I feel as if there could have been more. You only get married once, after all. The groom - 6/10 It’s Matyas. He was clean, and thankfully not toting about a mould infested sandwich so I suppose he deserves a few points there. Other than that, his most impressive act of the day was his ability to SOMEHOW have this wedding occur following his previous.. Slip up. OR slip in, depending on who you talk to. The Kiss - 3/10 It was.. Clear that Matyas had some practice where Adele did not. She seemed quite lost in the movements, so much so that it was barely salvageable by the groom. I’m sure it will get better as time goes on, but there are some things I wish I could unsee. All in all, it was a good wedding, and a good way to end the peerage wedding season. The highlight of the wedding is of course going to the Snailula race. Snance Snoll crashed out, but Ricky Bobby was able to bring home a fourth place finish for Force Rhenyari. Not the best, but we’ll surely bounce back. I wish all the new wedded couples nothing but luck and success in the future, although several of us have already proven them to be fruitful unions. I am excited for what the future shall bring, and look to the stars and GOD for guidance.

  25. Anastasya joined her siblings as Sigismund made his way home. For the first time, in a long time the woman - if you could even call her that anymore, was happy. Selfishly, perhaps, there was no grief. Only acceptance, and the filling of a brother-sized hole that had been left gaping from the day she had left their original realm. "About ******* time"
