AN INTRODUCTION TO A YOUNG ROYAL ALDERWOMAN CANDIDATE: Adalia Maria de Astrea is the youngest daughter of our incumbent Grand Lady, Rosalind Amador. She has spent much of her life being educated in the ways of the court by her mother, despite this, however, she has always been keenly interested in the Duma, observing many sessions with her late sister, Analiesa Hervor de Astrea. The young de Astrea now seeks to be one of the torchbearers of a new young generation of elected officials within the Royal Duma, seeking to prove that the next generation is capable of taking the step up and properly involving itself with the politics of the Kingdom. While this is a time to celebrate the arrival of a new sport upon Haeseni soil, it is also a time of mourning, for this tourney is also held as a memorial for the popularizer of modern badminton, Yuliya Styrne. Entry into the tourney will be free of charge.
