So, as part of my entire redesign of the 'Getting Started' area of the site I have: an Introduction to LotC, a brief overview of the Lore, information on how to Apply and how to spend your first day - what else is it vital we communicate to new players to help them become part of the community?

Why do we need to have war? Is peaceful RP just simply too hard for some people to do? I do understand that some war should happen every once and awhile, but I've never seen so much war in the server. Do you really need to go to war with a nation just because someone that was that race murdered someone in your city? Why can't there be diplomatic discussions? But no, there is just war.
