Here's another drawing. Started with me trying to figure out possible fashionable things people might wear to keep the sun off their face, and then it spiraled completely out of control. It was supposed to be a "quick" sketch! First drawing in a while of one of my characters, tried to draw my old character Dom wearing a chaperone (the thingy Roche wears in the Witcher). Here's how my portrait drawings of Domelvia has evolved over the years... Weird how I began to use more and more color, and then BAM! I'm back to grayscale again... It's mostly 'cause I need to get better at value before I tackle color again.

Here's a portrait study I did, after I realized my portrait drawing skills needed some serious work. Took me fuckin' FOREVER, because I actually used a soft brush on this drawing to build a base (which is something I SHOULD'VE been doing), which was a new and terrifying experience. Once I started using a hard brush again though, the drawing came together quite well, so I guess that's something I'll continue doing. Also, since I take a lot of pleasure in watching other people's process videos, I made one for myself. Mind the watermark though, I was an idiot and didn't test out the damn thing before recording everything.

Well, here's another art update. You're probably thinking, "Why Kenny, this looks familiar." and you'll be right, I touched up an old drawing, one that you can reminisce about under the spoiler here: Also, I drew an anatomy study again. Thank you! I'm afraid I don't take requests though. I'm a bit selfish, and drawing's just sort of a me time thing. On top of college, worrying about drawing for others and finishing commissions just kinda bogs me down. So in honor of my fifth birthday (I'm 5 years old in LotC!!!)... I present to you -- the same sorta stuff I always update this thread with. So I finished the portrait drawing of Ketas (finally). And also... I attempted a few environments... which are still WIP: And then I drew whoever this is: And drew "quick" character templates to compare two people's heights and builds: Also... Well, here's another update on some stuff I'm trying to draw: Almost done with this drawing, just gotta fix up the legs a bit, and balance out the colors a bit. Ayy, thanks for the positive feedback folks! Forgot to update the thread when I (more-or-less) finished the darkest dungeon affliction thingy. Here's the finished version of the affliction thing. I did not have the font that was used in game, so I had to settle for a different font. Here's a current project I'm working on now: I'm literally having the worst time in my life trying to draw LEGS. They're so frustrating. >:C How the hECK DO YOU DRAW LEGS??? Feet and shoes too! I hate feet and shoes. Also, I can't seem to decide on a horn design for ol' Ketas here. Horns are also crazy weird to draw! This is what happens when you have no mileage in anything other than three-fourth views of faces. :C And as a bonus, here's two unfinished studies I did a couple of weeks ago: EDIT: Well, I added in her damn feet. Just gotta clean everything up now. Woop woop. Another update: Made the face's angle a bit less... unnatural. Made legs seem more fluid and natural. Boots are hard. Well, since I haven't updated this thread in a while, here's another WIP. I was shamelessly copying Darkest Dungeon's style, and tried to make an "affliction" image for a random character, just because I thought it'd be fun. Y'all should try Darkest Dungeons, it's a fantastic game. Freaking hard, but fantastic! 10/10.

I really really don't like doing commissions, it's way too stressful for something that's supposed to be just a destressor. I also suck at picturing other people's characters, and often, I can't get them to look like what the other person wants. :C

Tiny update on a few unfinished projects I'm working on! (Added it into my list of drawings) Finally decided to start using color. Whoops. I deleted the file while cleaning out my computer, so this is all I have of it left (an old screencap). orz Here's a current project: UPDATE (3?): adjusted values again, added details again, and am currently seriously regretting decision in making character hold a lamp (ANOTHER LIGHT SOURCE TO DEAL WITH RIP), struggling a **** ton I had others, but they were tragically lost in my carelessness of backing up my files. May they RIP.

Maev 's eyes flitter through the notices on the board, before they stop on a post titled "Eastin Dia Trading Co.". She leans forward to get a better look at the parchment, her eyebrows furrowing. She remains where she is for quite a moment, a frown on her face, before finally, with a slight sense of hesitation, she begins to fill out the application form. Her handwriting is neat and firm, and each sentence seems to have been carefully written out. After filling out the form completely, she double-checks what she has written, before posting it neatly next to the notice. She steps away from the board, and seeming satisfied, heads off.
