Today I found out that a single thing called: Anti-Magic. Is enough to destroy 3.2 years of roleplaying and training. It is great how some things get accepted, regardless of how unbalanced they are.

is just knocking away your weapon. The odds of you winning 1v2 in a fight with no mages is about 25% assuming all parties are equal skilled. If you get your weapon knocked out of your hands, you're probably screwed. It's the same idea.
They disarm you somehow, knocking your only weapon away...ur fk'd. Is disarming someone via physical force unbalanced? No, of course not. Neither is this. It's essentially knocking away your weapon. Expeliarmus.

Let me tell you.. when someone can dissable another person with a single spell.. which takes two lines to write, without any warm up.. I consider that unballanced.
But who knows.. perhaps nowadays every mage is a wopping magician throwing fireballs around instead of being proper in their art.
