  1. Anybody else have that After School app? I can't figure out how to work the ID thing. Please help.

  2. Atoa you seem to be laboring under the idea that lore, to be implemented, must be necessary. This is false. No lore is necessary, it is not a need, it is a want. Some people want their mental illness to come from spirits. Some people want to do it the conventional way. There is not an issue with either possibilities. Nobody will force you to interact with this lore, should it be accepted. In the end, it is about fun, people have fun in different ways, and what you find appealing is not always appealing to others.
  3. Hugo is one of the most friendly people on the server. I could see him as the community relations member of the LT.
  4. I honestly thought he was already a loremaster.
  5. I started playing on this server in middle school and now I'm going into my Senior year of HS. I don't know what to feel about that.

yeah i know but it's when people get troubled by that fact, like there's something wrong with it. it's okay to be attached to memories and experiences with other people, even if it's fictional to an extent

  6. I don't disagree that there is the same amount of drama, but I still believe there's a lot less love to go around.
  7. This is people that posted in the Time Capsule thread, you absolute pleb. You weren't even around then.
  8. Whoa, Zane. Didn't know you were even still around.
  9. You really should have.
  10. Most of the people on this list are gone now. Out of about fifty people, I believe only myself, gunnerdude, and maybe jibtherandom are left. It's honestly kind of depressing. For those who don't remember this post, Skyyobee made a topic about a LotC time capsule back in 2012. Users posted information and such on the topic and it was placed in the time capsule for future LotCers to look at, one year later. It was eventually opened, but I think it deserves another look back. If those of you who posted in here see this, we miss you. For those who didn't post on this topic, have a look through and examine a better time on the server. One with less drama and more roleplay. Shadowoking. JtPv - One of the few people that seemed to genuinely enjoy the Daldriad group I made. I still remember how he got banned the first day of Anthos, and was unbanned the next week. A lot of laughs were had. I miss him. Oskar - What a troll. Great guy. Shuness WizardInABox - I wonder if he ever became a doctor. He's gone now. spartansoldier8 ShadowGunX - The inventor of shade magic. I don't know what eventually happened with the cancer on his neck. I hope he got better. Sckolar Runehunter1212 Geoboy66 - The creator of the greatest villain character ever seen on Lotc, the Perfectionist, and the longest serving leader of the Kharajyr race. When I met him he was just another player, but he eventually rose to become a GM. Bethgod7 Gunnerdude - One of the few people still around. I used to confuse you with Esterlen a lot. Archmage_Cataris - The possessor of probably the largest temper on the server. Besides that, a great leader, writer, and roleplayer. Was counted as one of the three great mages, alongside Sagwort and Blundermore. Spamshok - He never liked me very much. I liked him, though. I was very grateful to him for letting me in the Frozen Thorns. PtahWithin - The most levelheaded person to enter LotC, and the owner of an absolutely massive collection of reaction gifs rivalling that of Gaius. I only wish I could have gotten to know him better. Salamandra - I annoyed him a lot, in my early days. A fantastic roleplayer, only focused on fun. I don't think he ever did restart the Gobonic Order. HylianMuffin - Hilarious FM. Only vets will remember the sloth lord. Tigergamer Evilbanana5757 Jchizz - A fantastic roleplayer and fun guy to be around. I spent many an hour on Frozen Thorn missions with him, or just messing about in the skype chat. I miss him. If only his prediction for the future of the server was true. Escharian - One of the best skinners on LotC, and probably the most memorable CT monk. jibtherandom - I think you're still around. DBHAShadow SkyyoBee Monkey34512 - What a noob. I miss him. Pudclud - He's right about Tythus. everblue2er101 - The LotC member who probably gave the most. He served on more staff teams than I can remember. A great LM and friend. I hope he's having a good time, wherever he is. watyll - My own addition. I've matured a lot since then, became more cynical. I did eventually reach my goal and became an LM. FalconByte Whoppering Amayanina THUNDER37 snakeyeeees hexbug99 Twiddlepop - My british mail order bride. She's long gone, haven't seen her since Asulon. Huurk tuarzen007 - I think I had huge arguments with this guy. Not positive. Still a great guy. megacomet79 - One of my two closest irl friends, and the smartest person I've ever met. He probably won't see this, as he's long gone. I'll link it to him on skype, probably. He was one of the early pioneers of the Event Team. I'm sure he would be pleased to see how far it has progressed. I don't see him IRL anymore, since I moved, and I don't see him on the server. I miss you. BadPumkin987 Conordude8 Pengepi - You introduced me to /r/tumblrinaction and made me lose my last faith in humanity. You're still awesome. Brettdude20 I don't know why I posted this. I don't know if anybody else will even look at it or care. I just miss the loving community we used to have. Maybe I'm just looking through nostalgia glasses though, idk. For those of you who are nostalgic like me, come reminisce.

  13. Seed has been added. Pleasantries is grammatically incorrect as it is plural, submit the singular form if you want it added. There are words for both already This is probably the best contribution I have ever received. Mad props for etymology.
  14. words added except for hand and mind as there's already words for those. wise one added as cerxion
  15. Added except for am. Am is represented by the is/are: sna. Also in the future I'd advise using the suffix and prefix list for words like remorseless. Also who in the balls unpinned my baby.
  16. bless you sweet child for using my language. i approve.
  17. You don't seem to understand how the cult works. The Ikuras cult differs from most spoopy roleplay groups in the fact that we always contact groups we intend on attacking and set up something mutually beneficial, an event that both groups will enjoy. Our summoning of Ikuras in the Druid Grove caused part of the grove to be corrupted, but it was arranged so that the new dedicants would have a chance to practice healing, and bring good publicity to both groups. The druids drove off the enemy, but Kknotos was brought back into the world. Similarly, the Quandary event, in which Ouity was kidnapped, was done entirely by shooting Ouity a message to see if he was interested. We won't just attack random groups that have no interest in combating us. I passed this creature lore by Gigarun when he was in charge of the Druids and he loved it, going so far as to have the GMs broadcast the rhyme at the top of the lore across the server to all druids. It's a collaborative effort. In regards to your Undead comparison, Fearwalkers are quite different. My group only recruits people we feel are capable, for one. Secondly, there really aren't any anti-druid groups that I can think of, specifically. I mean, there are general all-evil groups that target the druids on occasion, but there aren't any I can think of that go out of their way to become the druid's arch-foes. And finally to answer your ring question - it's a spell, but the ring's wearer has to intend to turn that particular target into a Fearwalker when touching them. And of course, OOC consent is required, we don't want to force anyone to play a monster. Well, that's the reason the Fearwalkers don't have a fear aura. The only fear element that comes to these creatures at all is their power to sense it, and if people don't wish to roleplay that, it's simply a lack of roleplay skills and likely won't inhibit the roleplay to too large of a degree. I doubt any players recruited to play these creatures will get in a fit over somebody refusing to roleplay fear. Now onto the list of enemies that are anti-druidic. Out of those listed, I can't see any there that are specifically anti-druid. Two of those up there are server antagonists, and the Necromancer group and subgroups, as I remember, were on the whole dedicated to server-wide mischief, especially against clerics more than anything. And I've never seen a society of fire evocationists dedicated to attacking druids. So yes, I would consider this to be the anti-druid: this is the only group only dedicated to hunting druids and not much else, as other magics will kill them almost instantly with ease. Regarding present-day Fearwalkers- no fear, the ones from the first generation are long dead. A new ring had to be forged, and a new group will have to be chosen to play these beings. This originates from the conflict with the Druids that the Ikuras Cult has traditionally had, including the kidnapping and poisoning of Ouity and the slaying of the Cult's Balrog by Elorna. For this reason they are very specified to druids.
  18. Alright, since I wrote this lore I'll come in to answer some questions on it. First off Fiend- I have no idea what you're talking about with everything being anti-druid. Druids can crush most everything. You guys killed a Balrog. The idea of the Fearwalkers is this will be the first of three sets of creatures, each one immune to a different type of magic. Those groups will have to work as a team to combat the threat, and fill in the gaps in the defenses. This one is simply the first one to be posted. In regards to Swgrclan, anything under the control of a Spirit will harm a Fearwalker to a greater extent than it will harm a normal human. For instance, with mundane weapons, a Fearwalker will not feel pain if harmed by them. Elementalist projectiles, on the other hand, greatly pain them.
  19. The crystal containing the Nightmare Weaver sinks back to the earth, the being within returning to its slumber.
  20. Your words have been added aside from water, conversation, monster, and stop. There are already words for those. Thank you for your contribution!
  21. Yeah, I don't claim to be anything more than an amateur. As for the 0 toughness one, it's meant to be enchanted on another creature, so it's their combined toughness. It probably doesn't make sense by the actual magical rules but w/e it's just me and my friend.
