Aeldin was actually a separate server that many human players went to during 3.0

Before LotC flooded Aeldin there was the Elven Dominion, which was the elven faction that controlled the nearly the entirety of Aeldin.

Mog and the White Rose went and within days conquered the entire map in the name of Oren. Aeldin exists by virtue of association with LotC and should, if we’re assuming continuity, still be ruled by the overseas extension of the Orenian Empire. The Horens living there still probably rule. Because this isn’t canon, you can do whatever you want with it. Many people since the exodus in RP have “returned” to Aeldin.
