Laws & Guidelines Issued by Sheriff Rick All laws and guidelines issued here are mandatory to be followed, or you may server jail time, exile, or even public shaming upon you (but don't worry) I- Blades, bows, metals, or other bigg'un weapons/armor are strictly illegal, unless for cook, eating, or building purposes. (Shovels, bucket helmets, and slingshots are allowed) II- Murder or Assault (Of kin or strangers) is strictly forbidden III- Hobbits must worship the Pumpkin God, although foreigners may worship who they please, as long as they respect our culture IV- Theft is strictly forbidden (although you are allowed to steal from bigg'uns) V- No locked doors or secret chests. Chests may have a simple lock, however. VI- Class A drugs are forbidden. Drugs such as shrooms or Pipeweed are not only legal, but supported to be taken. VII-No destruction or defacing of the lands/burrows. This includes: Ugly burrows, ugly rooms, ugly buildings, ugly landscapes, or ugly people. VIII- Bigg'uns (Humans/Elves/Orcs/Kha/Etc) are not to gain a burrow, ever. IX-Compliance with the Sheriff or deputies must be given. If you are innocent of your crimes you must stand trial, running away or fighting will not help! X- Improper Hobbits are are to be shunned until they change to proper Hobbits. (Some Improper behavior includes: Wearing shoes, living with bigg'uns, not using a shovel (or using a blade), not worshiping the Pumpkin lord, breaking any laws stated above, or simply not having fun) XI- Change must and always will be shunned.

Sheriff Rick doesn't have a mail-box and you can ignore the rather inane posts made by the fools above... He does however, receive a letter, which he enjoys with a smoke in his office. He dots a quill with ink and begins to compose a response. "Dear Sentinels of the Equilibrium, It has come to my attention many times of the Foe of the North. Indeed, I even believed them to be nothing more than a far off problem, until they usurped our great lands of the Farthings... The Halflings are, however, a very sturdy race, and we take pride in the fact that where ever we live shall be our home. I believe it best that the citizens of the Summerset Shire not be forced into fighting a war that we are already scared, and yes, healing from. That being said, it would be of our own demise to simply ignore a call for help (I can almost imagine my old friends from my youth, angrily berating me as I write!) and so I will say, any who need aid, a place to sleep or supplies, are welcome to the Shire.
