((How does it all begin? Well, first I know I am developing my role in this community and I am sad to leave it, but it must be done. There have been many speed-bumps in my life (much like many of my fellow RPers), but instead of slowing down and handling them I zoomed past and let it linger. I need to take the next couple of days and reassess what I have going on in the real world before I get carried away in a made up one. Though, I'm saddened by this fact somehow... In the past week or so I've accomplished more things than I had since I applied in 2012. I felt something special with Cordero and when I enlisted in the Gladewatchers I felt proud, not towards myself or a fictional character, but towards the community. A foothold had been placed where I could finally see what this server is so unique for. When I peered in, all I could see was the staff and members of this server coming together and working as a whole. In long, deep sighs, I say goodbye for awhile. Hope everyone will still be as amazing as before!))

Completely agree. Just like in RP, there are times that you lose, but that just makes it better when you come back. If a person gets denied and doesn't come back, maybe they never really where cut out for the server in the first place. Just a thought.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Basically, I have A LOT of free-time and I LOVE to join a server and spend time in it. So, at the least 24 hrs a week. Give a definition of what it means to you: In my perspective, Role-Playing is a form of playing a video-game, in which the player/s take roles that are not themselves. These roles usually correlate to a big community and lore. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have owned a RPG server and was In-Character in that server. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the use of knowledge from Out-Of-Character experiences to be used In-Character. For example, a player decides to stay at a camp that s/he knows is going to be inhabited by their enemy the next nightfall. What do you expect this server will be like?: Really fun and different, which is what I like in servers. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I usually play on PvP servers, and also ran a mixture of Factions and Role-Playing. How did you hear about us?: I heard this server from a few friends a couple of months ago, but now my interests came back, because of PetriDaGamerNerd. Have you previously made an Application? This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Born, from a decent family of blacksmiths, on the year of 29 outside of Malinor. He was a very shy boy after the death of his most beloved friend Veronia from the plague of year 37. Arkania was never the same, until he found a passion. The same one that his ancestors brought over from Aegis, weapons. Whether it was a dagger or long sword, he mastered it. Except for the bow, which was an elf's most used weapon. He was in outcast for not being able to use a bow, and working in the forge with his parents. So, he set out on a quest to become a warrior. Arkania hustled through the Cloud Forest and soon became weak. His skin became darker, and his skills with the bow became more and more useless. At that point he had fainted in the forest and couldn't get up. He soon awoke to monks in the Santuary, trying to heal him from a scar from his face. He questioned a monk about the scar, and got only one word out of him, "bandit". After many months of healing, the monks have agreed that Arkania should continue his quest again. Now, at the age of 21, Arkania the Dark Elf comes to the world once more to fulfill a quest he has wanted his whole life. What are your Character's ambitions?: To become a true warrior. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? As Arkania slips through the woods he stumbles upon a robbery. "Hey what are you doing?" "Nothing that you need to know!", a warrior remarks. Suddenly, Arkania un-sheaths his blade and begins to attack the warriors with all his mite. As Arkania fights he shouts, "Hafling go find cover, I will defend you at all costs!". Once, the fighting is over with many battle wounds, Arkania goes up to the Hafling and gives him food. "We will stay in the woods tonight, and by dawn I will take us to a doctor with the rest of my weak body." Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Arkania asks the grinning merchant "Do you have Iron, I am a blacksmith." The Merchant looks at Arkania with a big smile "Okay, 13 for 50 Minas." Arkania looks on distraught and asks "That's absurd you would have to give it to me for 30." With Arkania staring down the merchant like a hawk, the merchant replies "Alright...". Arkania leaves grinning the same way that the merchant did when Arkania met him. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: As Arkania finds the hut he yells, "Hey, anyone know who's stuff this is!?" Nothing stirs around in the un-inhabited land. Arkania is weary, but he has to make a choice. He ponders for awhile on the task he is faced. Even though he is guilty, he takes the items. But, as soon as he continues to walk away, Arkania rushes back and leaves a small iron dagger and a few apples. "That seems pretty fair." satisfied of the trade he moves on through the land. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Hello, I am a traveler, can you spare my a few beefs for a couple of Minas?" "Sure, I'll just give it to you for free." Arkania takes the food carefully examining it of poison. "So, what brings you to our grounds?" another man asks, polishing his sword at the same time. As soon as the man looks at Arkania, he slips off through the woods, without a sound. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: As Arkania hears the gossip from the local merchant he wanders towards the town gaurds. "Hello there! I heard you are in need of assistance." "Alright, you seem ready lets wait for them" "I heard bandits are coming in the black of night from Urguan. We should spread out, but not to far." "Thank you, I hope this will be an easy threat to diminish." the voice came from the man in front, that seemed to be the leader. Anything else you would like to say?: I thank all of the staff for how hard they work for this.
