The Mars program is put on hold for a lack of funding for an indefinite project. It seems that Mars will not be colonized any time soon. The US halts construction on the Aries-115 Weaponized Space Shuttle is halted, as is construction on the 2 Barack Obama-class Aircraft Carriers, the type-36 Body Armor, and the type-97b anti-aircraft. All the money from these projects was poured into various departments to try to alleviate the pain of the crash on the already-floundering American economy.

However, the Charles de Gaulle, along with an escort fleet consisting of 16 destroyers and 10 frigates is deployed to the Baltic Sea, with the goal of neutralising the Russian Baltic Fleet. The French submarine fleet, containing 10 submarines, is also deployed for the same purpose. United Kingdom The UK immediately acts upon its offer to the Ukrainian nation of aid as it diverts a huge chunk of its fleet, including 2 aircraft carriers, 6 destroyers and 13 frigates, towards the Black Sea in order to neutralise the Russian presence there. The Grand Armada includes in its ranks but is not limited to, 10 Nimitz-class nuclear supercarriers, 1 Gerald R. Ford nuclear supercarrier, 1 America-class amphibious assault ship, 8 Wasp-class amphibious assault ships, 13 Independence-class littoral combat ships, 13 Freedom-class littoral combat ships, 22 Ticonderoga-class cruisers, 2 Zumwalt-class destroyers, 76 Arleigh-Burke-class destroyers, 53 Aggressive-class minesweepers, and 18 Ohio-class submarines. Their mission: eliminate the entire Russian naval presence there. The United States Marine Corps, outfitted with type-36 body armor, moves with British Forces across the Crimean peninsula, acting on the frontlines of battle and reestablishing why they are the most feared military organization in the world. The US Army, the best in the world, moves also with the combined British and American forces, providing massive amounts of support with their huge numbers. Since the undeniable success of the Korean war, pro-war sentiment was at an all-time high and the numbers of the US army reflected that. India Following the invasion of Pakistan, India would prepare for yet another war, this one with the help of the entirety of the GSC military arm. India would mobilize 500,000 of its troops, along with 3,000 armored units, and send them into China to rendezvous with the Chinese units marching into Russia. From there, command would be given to the Chinese commanders, while all actions taken with Indian soldiers reviewed by Indian commanders. India would then send its fleet to the Black Sea, where it would join up with other GSC fleets and aid in their mission.

The type-36 body armor given by China is redistributed among the US Marine Corps until the new sets are manufactured for the rest of the US military. Recognizing this threat, President Warren calls for a new alliance to strengthen American power and signs the Global Superpowers Alliance (GSA) Confident in the powers of this Alliance, the newly formed GSA DEMANDS that "[the EU] take preventative measures to stop Russia at all costs or it will be assumed that the EU is aiding Russia in their tyrannical grab for power and they will be dealt with as such." A large anti-Russia propaganda campaign is built and military training begins to pick up as the country prepares for war. The US receives the blueprints for the type 97b battle rifles from Japan. Construction on these begins immediately.[[5 pages]] In addition, the US sends soldiers to China, Japan, South Korea, India, France, and the UK to train their soldiers and prepare to fight with them if necessary and receives troops from all 6 other countries to fight under US supervision. War has not yet been declared and no troops have been deployed yet but it is obvious that the GSA is gearing up for a massive campaign.

United States of America President Warren's first action is passing a bill for the re legalization of marijuana. Though it proved disastrous last time, with the added public schooling money, youth are less disinterested in society and therefore less likely to abuse the drug. It is a massive success, and money the money from it is put into lowering the costs of tuition. The US economy is still in a slump, having dropped behind China in terms of GDP and almost fallen behind Japan, but now has a large population of extremely well educated and interested youth, which brings the economy on the rise again. President Warren gratefully accepts China's gift of the type-36 body armor and it is distributed mostly to the US Marine Corps. Construction begins on more of the armor to replace conventional body armor [[5 pages]] Government relations with China are at a record high, and the gift of the body armor helps somewhat, but American citizens are still generally unhappy with China, which blocks further cooperation between the governments. 100 US citizens are chosen to partake in the mars mission, christened the Pilgrim I, and, along with the 100 Chinese citizens chosen, and they are brought to the Kennedy Space Center, the headquarters of the CAJSP, where they will prepare for the flight.

So the question became, who would be the next US president? On the right wing, Marco Rubio had cinched the nomination, using strongly anti-China policies in his "America First" campaign to push himself ahead of Newsom. She had the advantage of being a constant critic of Trump long before he was president, and was polling highly among women and minority voters. Trump, while still theoretically running, is polling so abysmally that Kanye West has a better chance of being president than him. Election Day As the votes pour in and the ballots are counted, in a public ceremony viewed all over the nation, the next American president will be Elizabeth Warren. The efforts by Rubio, though truly admirable, were not enough to convince the American populace that another Republican president was a good idea. President Warren makes a grateful acceptance speech, vowing to stop working so closely with China until America was in a better situation. Actions President Warren takes no action within the first few days of presidency, but does begin a massive nation-wide debate on many issues such as the possible re-legalization of marijuana, and raising taxes on the top 35% of Americans. Also, with the Trump administration education funding, President Warren looks into possibly making college tuition free, or at least lowering it, and possibly taking inspiration from Canada for a new healthcare system. [[MOD PLEASE]] Lastly, as the military's latest pet project grows to a close, the US has now has a way to make missiles that can counter earth-to-space missiles, and missiles that are made to hit other spacecraft. Research on a weaponized space shuttle to carry these weapons on begins immediately in the CAJSP [[7 pages]]. And, the US Navy's new aircraft carrier, the Barack Obama class, is now ready for production, and the US navy begins construction on 2, the USS Donald Trump and the USS Martin Van Buren.
