Thank you, in truth I wouldn't mind making a custom map for this server. Free of charge, unless I was time pressed. Honestly a 1:1 continental scale map would be a dream come true. There are numerous locations on the map designed to hold cities. Flat areas, and areas with height variation. The only thing this map is lacking which I think would be a pain for the server is roads. That would have to be hand made in a large expansive map.

My map was designed to have high activity locations spread apart to give a sense of wilderness in between. I picked this design because of my experience on LoTc actually. I always found it immersive that humans and orcs on previous map iterations were so close to each other and that a building was always within medium render distance. IRL there are vast emptinesses and while it can be boring it is realistic.

You know it wouldn't take me too long to cut a piece out and islandize it. The time consuming part of map making is the biome blending and figuring out the continent shape.

I will admit part of my server's downfall was due to the map's size. I would hate to see such ambitious work of mine to wither away on a hard drive. Perhaps the server could focus all of its main cities in a smaller region of the map while leaving the rest barren for exploration/settlement. Kind of like a new world discovery setting. If the map would be cut down I would suggest this region. It is the most detailed area and has as wide diversity of biomes. A large part of the shore line was straight up pixel art. I'm not kidding.

If you guys want to explore it I can PM you my server IP and let u fly around. For anyone else reading this. My intent of this post is purely out of benefit of LoTc not my server. So I only will pming the ip to mods of LoTc. Not trying to advertise here.

I haven't been on this site or played on this server in years but I remember you guys like having big maps. My personal server isn't very popular and I'm going to college so its eventually going to go down, but this is the map I made for that server and I was wondering if LOTC would like to use it when it comes down to getting a new map. If whoever is responsible for new map transitions happens to see this post PM me if you're interested. I will not be giving this map to just anyone only this server IF it wants it. Mainly because this map is very sentimental and I spent over two years working on it. It still has some blemishes to touch up on but I have the World Painter file. I want this to be tried for one week, if its really bad then we switch back because I feel like there will be loads of rule breakers. I feel this way because some people will just jump right away and kill people they hate oocly without their consent. Now unless there is like a plugin that will let a player send a PVP invite to another player to alow pvp between only the two of them, I highly disapprove of this. Also if the player has a VA to attack without an invite, they can do a command that tells the player that he has a VA and is going to kill him. ./pvpinvite [Name] (Group name) ./pvpinvite (range) (Group name) We also should bring back the Stats system again if we do this.
