  1. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: The sun had finally set on Saudi Arabia, and everything seemed all for lost. Then, the Egyptians did something stupid. As their shells strike the glorious city of Mecca, stray munitions strike the heart of Mecca: The Kaaba. Thousands of innocents, foreigners and pilgrims travelling to the most holy site are kill by bombardments. There is an outcry, and King Mohammed makes an anguished decision. No speech is given, but the generals are instructed to do what they must in order to halt the Islamic Caliphate. An army of Saudi Arabians prepare for their final act, a punishment against Egypt and its allies, Egypt who had always had close relations and love for the Saudi Arabian people. Egypt who had betrayed the Saudis. The Kaaba had been destroyed, and the Saudis prepared themselves for Heaven. The Northern Front As the Caliphate pushes through the hornet's nest built between Hail and Buraydah, Armageddon begins. The Saudis ignite their largest oil fields once the Caliphate is halfway between the two cities. Explosions fill the entire northern mountainside as the largest oil field in the world detonates. Explosions are seen from all around, even from the capital of Riyadah. As the Turkish troops push south from Hafar Al Batin, the rest of the oil fields are blown. All of North Saudi Arabia becomes engulfed in fumes, fire and toxic gas. In a final act of vengeance, the capital of Riyadah is evacuated. The encroaching armies would find it defenseless, and once they entered the capital prepared detonations would activate. The largest of the capital's buildings collapse, falling haphazardlessly all around Riyadah and caving in any would be soldiers. Evacuees board the Saudi Arabian fleet, which remained untouched and undisturbed throughout the war. With the aid of the Iranians and Egypt's occupation of Mecca, a fleet of cargo ships begin shipping oil East. The oil reserve that is not used in explosions throughout Saudi Arabia is transported out with an escort of Saudi Arabia's finest fighter jets. The Western front Egypt thought itself safe once it occupied Mecca, but once their forces had shoved through the blockade of traps they would meet a similar fate as the Caliphate. Mecca had been evacuated post prior to Medina's fall, and buildings are rigged to explode as they enter. Furthermore, almost the entire Saudi Arabian ground force, roughly 75,000 men invade Mecca. Several hundred troops remain at the capital to make sure the bombs go off in Riyahdah. The remaining foreign aid and Saudis fighting in Guerrilla warfare in the mountains attack from the North after the debris settles. The beleaguered and under reinforced Egyptian army is quickly routed and executed. The drones which had halted after the Caliphates arrival in Hail are finally put back in use. The last remnant of Saudi Arabia's drones fire up, and they bombard the Suez Canal and Egypt's navy. Saudi Arabia's last bombers, escorted by a handful of fighters and a handful of german submarines purchased during the Arab Spring thirty years ago, travel up the Suez Canal and begin their attack on the Egyptian navy. Hopefully, they would be able to aid the division sent by the Americans. The Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force begins its Swan Song in Israel. As the Turkish forces gain superiority, the Air Force is told that Saudi Arabia has fallen and that the Kaaba is destroyed. The entire Air Force is diverted to attack the Egyptians invading Israel. Many of the pilots crash land, destroying Egyptian tanks as they shove into Israel. Military Decisions: Saudi Arabia prepares a plane loaded with bombs which was purchased from Pakistan during the post Arab Spring. While the Royal Saudi Arabian Air force engages the Egyptians heading into Israel, and the Royal Saudi Arabian navy battles up the Suez Canal, King Mohammed himself begins his route to Cairo to deliver his payload [Mod]. Bombs are secretly prepared in the abandoned capital in an isolated bunker. It is armed and will trigger once it seems that the Caliphate occupies the capital [Mod]. The majority of the Saudi Arabian army repositions and attacks Mecca. The roads to the capital, which the Caliphate and Turkey use, are trapped. All of Saudi Arabia's oil fields and refineries are detonated in order to prevent the Caliphate from taking control of them. Saudi Arabia is no longer capable of producing oil. Economic Decisions: Saudi Arabia requests India shelter its evacuated citizens. Saudi Arabian citizens are escorted out of Saudi Arabia on ships. They will arrive in India. Partial amounts of Saudi Arabia's oil and gold reserves are transported in secret on the citizen ships, poised as humanitarian aid. They will arrive in India and are instructed to slowly be shipped to Hawaii, The United States. The brown man in a black suit and sunshades arrives at Wall Street in the United States with a green card. Part of House Saud's fortunes are wired to numerous American banks. ((With this, I am out of the game. Saudi Arabia does not surrender, but it will be too destroyed now to use.)) Edit: If nukes cannot be used, just replace them with explosives. King Mohammed will attempt to fly his plane into Egypt's leader.))
  2. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: A Quick Response In a spur of the moment decision, King Mohammed sends approximately 30,000 units separated into three divisions to flank the Caliphate as they battle with Iran and Israel. In addition, Saudi Arabia stations the 45,000 conscripts in the capital. The American reinforcements arrive in Riyadh and will oversee their training. Foreign involvement in the west is reduced by about 1,000 ground units.
  3. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Operation Snakehead: Updated: As the Caliphate forgoes capturing cities, he is forced to cross through the desert in order to get to the main highway in order to get to Hail. As the Caliphate assaults Hail, Saudi Arabia positions itself in the mountainside around Hail. 100,000 Saudi Arabian units engage the bulk of the Caliphate's army. As it seems lost, 50,000 Saudi Arabian units are re-positioned from all around North Saudi Arabia. They flank the Caliphate, striking them on all sides as they attempt to cross into the mountainous region. This is an outstanding success for the Arabian units, and although casualties are suffered due to air units, intervention by the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force minimizes impact somewhat. Saudi Arabia decimates the initial wave of invaders as they are forced to cross through desert and mountain terrain and regroups South of Hail, which centralizes Saudi Arabia's army. The flanking force regroups with the bulk of Saudi Arabia's army. Regardless, Saudi Arabia is forced to retreat deeper into the mountains as Hail is lost. Before losing ground, Saudi Arabia rigs multiple oil refineries between Hail and Buraydah to blow once the Caliphate reaches them in order to damage morale and destroy some of the Caliphate's army. Saudi Arabia evacuates Hail and rigs numerous buildings to blow, which causes devastation on the roads heading South. Several divisions, roughly 30,000 spread out along roads. They destroy them to halter the Caliphate's advance toward Riyadah, as well as Egyptian intervention. The remainder of the Saudi Arabian army, roughly 50,000 troops, heads for the capital to restock, resupply and pick up reserve troops for the next battle. They do this under the pretense that the 30,000 units left behind will cause havoc on the roads and local refineries, hoping that it slows down or halts the Caliphate. 20,000 units garrison Burayadah. The 10,000 man division which was believed to have been halted by the Turks disperses. They spread out around Iraq and begin to hassle supply lines. If the Turks go through Iraq instead of Syria, Syria being the closest way to Saudi Arabia, Turkey will not be able to send as many reinforcements to Saudi Arabia (I sent those troops to Iraq, not Syria. Turkey would have to go far out of their way to get to them). Saudi Arabia's total troop count is roughly 100,000 now, down from 150,000. Meanwhile in the West, Egypt takes Medina and numerous smaller cities/towns. The American/Swedish/Irish/Saudi guerrilla band disperses and starts havoc on the southern roads leading toward Mecca. Mecca is now under heavy threat by the Egyptians. Some of the Americans are re-positioned to the capital. They will train new soldiers. Now: Economic Actions: Saudi Arabia is trading with the United States, Confederacy, Ireland, Swedish(Baltics) with oil. Oil is raised to 200 dollars a barrel, roughly, due to Caliphate halting oil refineries in the oil rich north. Saudi Arabia prepares to trade oil with Greece if they accept. Military Actions: Saudi Arabia begins a mandatory draft that will last roughly four years with the intention to repel the Caliphate, then disband the draft. (Mod please tell me accurate draft number and post for me) Saudi Arabia taps into its reserve. 50,000 ground units begin to mobilize in Riyadh. 30,000 units transfer from Riyadh to Mecca to rendezvous with the Americans, Swedish and Irish reinforcements. Saudi Arabia attempts to negotiate with Greece, asking them to aid Israel against the usurping Egyptians or hassle Turkey in exchange for oil supplies. ((Please post accurate numbers of troop counts for me!)) Saudi Arabia Troop Count: Roughly 500 multipurpose tanks. 100,000 active personnel and 50,000 reserves which make up Saudi Arabia's ground army. 275 fighter jets.
  4. The situation in Saudi Arabia continues, not differing much; however, a brown man in a black suit with sunshades gets on a plane heading West.
  5. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia In the capital, an old man lets out his last sigh. King Murqin has died of old age, his health finally taking him at the ripe age of 93. He is succeded by Failar, a son of Salaman and the oldest dynastic member. With Murqin goes liberalism and many of Murqin's changes as a more conservative leader takes charge. He puts Saudi Arabia's smaller, more mobile military into action. Operation Snakehead: 100,000 Saudi Arabian troops move from the capital and key forts to occupy positions in the mountains. Troops all over the South, including the ones on Egypt's target list. They are equipped with weapons purchased from the United States that never used (See below). They head north toward Hail. http://foreignpolicy.com/2013/12/12/why-is-saudi-arabia-buying-15000-u-s-anti-tank-missiles-for-a-war-it-will-never-fight/ Phone-explosives are placed on major roads heading South, its design to slow down the advance. Troops garrisoned near the border are collected, organized and distributed into several divisions. Chief of these are the bulk of soldiers positioned in Arar, who would have been moving to follow the ground units before Turkey sent in air. In Arar, a garrison is left as well as pre-built anti-air turrets in preparation for the inevitable Islamic Caliphate invasion. The Saudi Arabian air force continues to engage the Turks. This will not hold out for long, but the majority of the Caliphate's ground units are south by now. A division moves up through Hafir and into Iraq. They head in deep, penetrating Iraq's bossom to disrupt supply lines, chiefly food and water which will desperately be needed in Saudi Arabia's hot climate. The foreign aid, which amounts to a single division, is broken into numerous squads and dispersed throughout South-West Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabian soldiers are mixed in with them, and this ragtag army begins planting bombs and harassing the roads on Egypt's advance. They are given anti-vehicle weaponry, hand launchers and phone bombs. Their goal is to delay Egypt as much as possible by messing up roads and causing fear and panic, not to destroy the Egyptian army which would be impossible. The majority of the garrisons in the South, including Mecca, are sent North toward Hail. Forgot to include unit positions in Arar, as well as Saudi Arabia air force.)) Overview: Roughly 10,000 ground units head for Iraq. 50,000 units defending the border are respositioned. They head South, following the Caliphate. 5,000 units remain in Arar to occupy it. Another 10,000 remain dispersed throughout the border to meet reinforcements and stall them. 100,000 units are taken from all over the South to meet the bulk of the ground army in the mountains. 10,000-15,000 units begin stalling and harassing the Egyptians as they move for cities. The terrain shifts to a more mountainous one, which makes tanks difficult to more around if the Islamic Caliphate commits. 315 M–1A2 Abrams, 290 AMX–30, and 450 M60A3 main battle tanks are dispersed among all divisions. 400 outdated Combat Aircraft engage the Turkish Air Force. Economic Decisions: Saudi Arabia is still receiving food and water from multiple foreign entities in southern Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Arabia navy, which includes anti-air, protects these shipments. King Failar attempts to friend the United State's, Ireland's and Balkan's leaders on Facebook and Twitter. Military Decisions: In addition to Operation: Snakehead, Saudi Arabia begins to tap into its reserves which have long been in place. Roughly 50,000 reserve men await training. Saudi Arabia expedites recruitment to bolster its army. A brown man in a black suit and sunshades appears in Mecca. Military pacts offers are sent out all throughout the middle east, as well as potential allies against the Islamic Caliphate. [Need Mod] Edit: Saudi Arabia attempts to friend Israel on Facebook and Twitter.
  6. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabian News Report: ISIS reportedly is planning to take over the city of Arar in Saudi Arabia, which is very close to the Iraq border. It is a fifteen-hour drive away from Mecca, the site of the Hajj pilgrimage which all observant Muslims are expected to do at least once. If indeed the statement is from an ISIS member, it's a shocking one even for them, considering that ISIS has been attempting to increase recruitment from Muslims worldwide by declaring the restoration of an Islamic Caliphate. According to John L. Esposito, Professor of Religion and International Affairs and of Islamic Studies at Georgetown University, "In terms of legitimacy- unless you're someone who's ready to join a terrorist group at this point, for the vast majority of Muslims there is no legitimacy with this group." This most recent threat reinforces Esposito's point, particularly as it comes during the holy month of Ramadan. Saudi Arabian Response: King Murqin addresses the people of Saudi Arabia, "In the name of Allah, the Merciful and praise be to Allah who says "Everyone upon the earth will perish. And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor," bless our troops and let us begin to repel these infidels from our lands, as well as their Turkish shia allies who, despite only being a minority in a Sunni-dominanted country, have joined the Caliphate. We will destroy them and their false hersesy!" Econmic Actions: Saudi Arabia transports shipments of oil in exchange for food and water through The United Kingdoms and The United States. Without any threat in the southern demense, these transports will continue which secures Saudi Arabia's necessities. Military Actions: Saudi Arabia expedites the strengthening of the northern border, as it has been for the past thirty years, focusing primarily on key cities and defensive positions. The Islamic Caliphate would meet a heavily armed border on their march. Well-trained, highly equipped soldiers strengthen cities along the border and prepare for siege. As the north is being defended, Saudi Arabia sends troops north through Khafji to infiltrate the Islamic Caliphate, disrupt supply lines, and stifle their advance. Requests for aid are sent to all Sunni states, as well as The United States and The United Kingdoms whom Saudi Arabia is trading with currently. Shrieks fill the air, not from man, but from the sky. As Saudi Arabian troops prepare the defense of key cities, a new war has begun. Drones bombard the encroaching enemies, attempting to pummel the tanks as they storm the northern border. The Saudi Arabian troops seem content to garrison important locations as the Islamic Caliphate takes the northern border. http://www.theverge.com/2014/4/25/5652804/saudi-arabia-has-joined-the-global-drone-arms-race
  7. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia King Muqrin analyzes current affairs, not particularly worried over the Russians. He makes an address on television, spoken in Arabic with English subtitles, "Dear citizens, blessings of Allah be upon you. It is pleasure to speak to you today to announce that negotiations have begun to secure, may Allah will it, precious water and food. Oil will be raised to one-hundred dollars a barrel, and we will begin tapping to our reserve oil to trade. I have committed myself to continuing the work on the immutable foundations on which this blessed country has stood since its unification: adherence to Islamic law "Sharia", preservation of the unity, security and stability of this country, and continuance of constructions and completions of the foundations laid out by the late kings of this country. We shall work continually towards the integrated, balanced and comprehensive development in all regions of the Kingdom, justice for all citizens, and provision of opportunities for all to achieve their legitimate aspirations and wishes in accordance with the State's regulations and procedures." The speech ends and after several days, Murqin calls his military advisors. "We will not fear this caliphate of infidels. They use the word of Allah to bolster their military goals and brazenly slander our precious Mecca. They continue to threaten the destruction of our most glorious Kaaba. We will increase the defense budget and strengthen our borders." Economic Actions: Saudi Arabia begins negotiations with Portugal and the United Kingdom of Great Britain for food and water in exchange for oil. [PM me for this? Idk] Saudi Arabia begins to focus on off-shore fishing and shell fishing for personal consumption, offering subsidies to sea farmers. Military Actions: Saudi Arabia continues to focus on anti-air personal defense upgrades. [Do I need Mod?] Saudi Arabia, finding Kurdistan a natural ally against the Islamic Caliphate to to its proximity to the Islamic Caliphate, the population of Kurds living in Syria and Iraq, and similar theocracy, offers a defense pact with Kurdistan. [Mod maybe? idk if there is a Kurdistan] Saudi Arabia strengthens its northern border further with additional men and longer chain fences to keep the Islamic Caliphate back. http://nation.com.pk/international/25-Feb-2015/saudia-arabia-strengthens-border-to-keep-isis-away
  8. Can I say Allahu akbar, for my jihad on my ottoman-based southeron?
  9. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia With the passing of King Salman, the current king of Saudi Arabia is Muqrin. Saudi Arabia continues its practice of agnatic seniority. Muqrin is considered a liberal, a philosopher and a stargazer, which is starkly contrasted with his conservatist and traditionalist family. His heir is Muhammad bin Nayef, who is currently suffering from wounds after an attempted assassination. He is criticized for having waged proxy attacks on Iraq through the Syrian conflict. Saudi Arabia continues to remain a conservative state. Women are considered children and do not have much presence. Female members of the royal family are under house arrest for protesting. Saudi Arabia is and will continue to be one of the largest producers of oil, and it has maintained its impressive oil reserves over the years. This comes at the cost of food and water, as it has to import over 70% of its food consumption from foreign countries. Water is scarce and extremely valuable. Allies: Saudi Arabia continues to be one of the United States chief allies in the middle east; however, this has diminished after failings to keep the Islamic Caliphate in check. It has no outstanding military partners, but it has economic allies in Turkey and OPEC. Enemies: Saudi Arabia has tensions with Iran and the Islamic Caliphate. It does not support Israel due to their actions against the Palestinian people, but Saudi Arabia recognizes the United State's ties with Israel. Military strength: Saudi Arabia consists of approximately 250,000 active personnel with the majority being in the army. Its small numbers is compensated by a modern, high-technology army as Saudi Arabia has been pumping money into military technology since the 1990s. Economic Actions: Saudi Arabia negotiates immediately with India in order to secure water, and it negotiates with Portugal for consistent food trade in exchange for oil reserves. Military Actions: Saudi Arabia begins to centralize its military, focusing on technological advances (Drones) for defense purposes.
