You think that's bad? Try picking up food that says it has 3 days left on it and then eating it only to find it's rotten.

  2. OOC: Minecraft Username: D3lve/TechnoMack. Though, D3lve is my main. Age: 15 Roleplay example: Within a breif moment Key's hand is suddenly raised in front of him. As his concentration easily comes to him, his ears but only flick a few times, his golden eyes dialating. He stands poised there, one hand jutted firmly out in front of him. Within a few moments an eruption of jet black smoke erupts from the center of his palm, a soft hissing yet laughing surrounding the black smoke. The small feeling of fear begins to effect the two armored men in front of him before it suddenly becomes amplified, a sharp jolt of pain screeching through their chests as the black smoke wraps around them. At this point Key's brow is laced with beads of sweat, though due to his high tiered level of understanding for Illusion Magic he seems to handle it well. Within just a few moments the men would be screaming, before Key snaps his arm back to his side, all pain vanishing with the smoke. IC: Name: Key. Age: 107 Known Magic: Illusion, Mental Magic, Beginner's Pyromancy. Are you capable of teaching this tree of magic: Of course I am, don't be daft. Ninety years of study is but a wink of an eye in the life of a Mali'Aheral. ((OOC Note: I have played two characters before this one whom have used Illusion magic, It is my specialty at this point.)
  3. Key lazily rubs the back of his neck. "Gah... More mages? When did we become so.... Numerous.." He rolls his eyes and struts off with a purpose.
  4. He has deep golden eyes and a light black. His hair seems to be returning to a soft blonde actively. He has long-ish, messy hair . He wears a gray, or sometimes red cloak with a gray shirt beneath it. Age: 105. Race: Mali'Aheral. Gender: Male. Status: Healthy. Height: 6'7 Weight: 168-ish. Very slim build for his height. Body type: Ectomorph. Skin: Very pale. Personality: INTP-http://www.personalitypage.com/html/INTP.html Life Style: Deity/Religion: Atheist. Non-believer. Heathen. Take your pick. Titles: The Sleepy Wizard Key Job: N/A. Profession: Mage, Medic. Flaws: Key was born with damaged organs after his mother had a miscarriage, and therefore cannot take too many blows to the stomach, or run for long portions of time without spewing blood. 12. Edited/Added: The very first Minas back in the days of Aegis were in fact smaller, round marble-like gems. These were used throughout the days of Aegis and until Asulon. When the races arrived to Asulon, the citizens found that all of their previous Minas were missing. Therefore, a new type had to be created. The Minas of Asulon were in fact paper bills, easy foldable yet much to fragile. These bills were a deep gold, still with the proud face of Prince Shift on the front. After the races fled to Anthos, they again lost the last currency. In Anthos they made the currency into a coin, though this one was square. On one side was a hand holding a sword, engraved on the front was 'Trade. Power.'. Still, the archaic face of prince Native was held on the back of the coin. After the days of The Fringe, Thales and finally leading up to Athera the Monks decided the image of a weapon was too suggestive of violence. Instead they wanted to make the Minas a more unifying force, and added the current image of two hands shaking.
  13. Description: So many of you new players have probably spent hours finding your skin, but soon find someone else with your same exact one! For example, this is a very common Elven skin I have found: While yes, this skin will get you accepted into our community, is it really you or unique? A few ways to get your unique skin: Make one! If you're good at skinning, find a reference picture and build off of that! There is TONS of talent already here on Lord of the Craft. Look around the forums and I'm sure you'll find a skin shop. Here's a few that are currently active: - Saint Pat's Skin Shop! - Skin shop of Jade and Leetles! - Wandering Skinners! - ~ Jade ~ (Offers free skins to newbies!) Of course you'll have to save up a bit of coin, though it is truly worth it! 3. Search specific keywords in Planetminecraft, or other skin sites. I find Planetminecraft to be the most unique, as they have a massive community of skinners. Keywords to use while searching: For Dwarves: -Nord - Dwarf For Elves: You can actually be very specific on your sub-race, so I would suggest searching simply your Elf's subrace. For Humans: - RPG - Roleplay - Human For Halflings: - Hobbit - Halfling For Orcs: -..... Orc You may have to use a variety of these keywords mashed together, though they are typically easy to find. Do's Of getting a skin: Do, make sure that this tag isn't under the post: You can still use these skins, though it is likely someone on the server already uses it. Do, make sure its unique, and very unlikely to be used already! Do, make the skin to fit your character's personality and looks! Don'ts of getting a Skin: Don't, use a modern day skin. Example: Don't, steal someone's skin that is already on the server! That's mean :c. Exceptional Skin Examples: Note to skinners! If I used one of your skins as an example, please comment which one is yours so I may give you credit!
  14. Ah, so should I remove the entirety of the 'History' section, or simply the Central Unity Bank part?
  15. Added: The Monks, along with their temple construct the Central Bank of Unity. This bank is a representative of the Unity the Minas has always provided. This bank holds mysterious depths, though people have found when they delve deep enough they find a large, odd and archaic machine powered by Magic. The Machine has a sharp, circular like end on a piston, which slams down into a mixture of rock, gem and gold. This shapes and cuts down the pre-heated slab of the concoction, shaping the coin. The coin is flipped then with a jet of air, and the process repeats. Though these elements in the Minas may not be separated, therefore one could not melt Minas down back into gold. Please reply more criticism! Thank you for the idea Equinocks! Edit: The only time Minas are given to the public by the Monks are when a new soul enters the realm, and the Order gives them a proper starting amount so they may begin their journey. Also added^
  16. Oh, I see. Well I just figured it would have been better instead of people having different types of Minas..
  17. It has come to my attention that there is little to none documented lore of the Mina. I asked around the community, and the closest thing to lore was a 3D model apparently made by a Dev. I couldn't find it, so I hope I can describe the coin to the best of my abilities. Appearance: The Mina. A small, round coin with about a half inch diameter. Such an illusive little coin has dominated and lasted through all realms the mortals have been put through. The small coin is developed by the Monks of the Cloud temple, as they are the most secured and uncorruptable peoples. On one side of the coin, two hands meeting each other in a shake are shown, while two words are imprinted above and below the symbol. 'Allies, Trade'. The handshake represents both the sealing of business, and the forging of new friendships. The other side shows the now long forgotten face of Prince Native. ((This was in the old description of the Mina)). The coin seems incredibly light and easy to carry and transport. The very first Minas back in the days of Aegis were in fact smaller, round marble-like gems. History: The Minas was originally introduced to unify the trade of the Five (or six when the Kharajyr were introduced), as to make the trading system much easier and fluid. The coin has been around as long as many may remember, dating back to the days of Malin and his brothers. The Monks, along with their temple construct the Central Bank of Unity. The only time Minas are given to the public by the Monks are when a new soul enters the realm, and the Order gives them a proper starting amount so they may begin their journey. ((Clearly this all needs work, so please post criticism/additions in the comments so I may add it to the lore. I decided to make something like this so we may finally, have an official post on the Mina.
  18. Has a thread been made about what the Mina actually is? o,O

minas are treated as small gems/emeralds.

      Gwonam_Blaze

Both coins and gems are valid/accepted forms of mina, however, the gem currency is only valued at 1:1, meaning every mina you own = 1 of these gems, which would be exceptionally cumbersome, therefor coins are much simpler and easier to acknowledge.

I remember Robin Drake made a 3d model of one, I think it had High Prince Native on one side and the four brothers on the other or something?
