I doubt it. I'd wager that there was a specific instance in the (distant) past where someone did something questionable and stupid due to an FTB orgy so that specific rule was created to prevent it in the future and that, since then, it's never been re-reviewed or thought about and just pasted into the rules every time they were reposted.

I still adamantly hold that the limit of people (and let's be clear here, consenting adult sapients) allowed to have sex with each other is completely unnecessary and intrinsically exclusive of people who roleplay polygamous/polyamorous characters. There's no reason for it, it pointlessly limits people, and makes it slightly more likely that people will get banned for doing nothing at all harmful.

I'd agree with you, Pie, if it weren't for the fact that those specifics weren't present on the previous iteration. Unless I'm crazy it never divulged into that much detail. Also don't see the point in it, but in that case I suppose that it won't effect the majority of people in any regard; unless of course you happen to be the fellow who starts RP orgies with dogs, cats and  more then three people and FTBs on server.

Still doesn't help how strange it is.
