  1. Any tips or troubleshooting if the freja command doesn’t seem to be sending a code to our forum account for verification?
  2. MC Name: Helbolt VIP Rank: Diamond VIP In-game screenshot of your tag and username: https://imgur.com/e9yHoyw
  3. I liked heat map. I also like several of the suggestions in your post.
  4. War Pot - Giving the nation that declared the war most of the goods back defeats the entire purpose of it.... A nation (like the humans) could still declare war all the time since it knows it is going to win most wars. Automated catapults - Yes >=D
  5. Interesting idea. It is fairly arduous. Complicated systems have a way of requiring large amounts of moderation (as well as being afflicted by bias). The coding up to this point has seemed to head in a direction freeing GM's from repetitive work, but these rules definitely add a large burden. I wonder if there isn't some better way to do this requiring less rules. I like the realism. I dislike the idea that a defender should pay anything (suggested later - the idea should be to tone down all the warmongering and your 'price' for warring nations does this well). I also dislike the removal of raids, but understand why it is necessary with the current player base attitudes. I like the addition that robbery should take place on roads not in towns. I don't think that anyone should be forced to abandon their claimed plots ever (land taking should be consensual). Several instances in the fringe of such attacks caused us to lose many new players (as is evident from their posts). I believe that destroying buildings was also a cause of player loss and think this part should probably be removed from your suggested changes. I know it has been suggested before, but adding code for things like battering rams and catapults would fit nicely (using your large costs for them) with professions. They could be added with pre-determined cool downs thus freeing the GM's to watch the battle instead of moderating the catapult shots. To sum up, while I disagree with individual parts of the system - as a whole it seems to be a step in the right direction and is definitely worth giving a chance. Nice job >=D RP-RPG-PVPfactions 1st 2nd 3rd ... is my guess since the staff are always saying its headed in a rp-rpg direction. Yes, just yes. The items should be removed from the system. This is because the system lacks sinks while having an unlimited source of items (aka mining areas that are refilled upon depletion).
  6. "When a dog bites the hand that feeds no one complains when swift justice is met out against the lesser. However, when a jealous master attacks a loyal servant and the servant rebels there is only complaint of broken oaths. Loyalty works both ways. There is the duty of the lesser and the obligation of the superior. A dog can only be hit so many times before it grows cruel and bites. Ave de Sola."
  7. "A law more ancient than the laws of man... You shall reap what you sow All the backstabbing, manipulation, and Caernguard assassinations must have finally caught up with him. Tis a shame friends were not kept closer."
  8. Far too many people get their jollies from destroying centers of role play. For the good of the server, war claims should be consensual until the attitude of the player base changes. You cannot win a role play game.
  9. I know this will probably never be done - However, I should say that I have seen role play games where account names are only known by staff who handle disciplinary issues (in this case I think it would be the GM's and probably admins due to their role) and character names were all that normal players and regular staff (media/lore/etc.) saw. This helped role play by allowing people to treat new characters as they normally would (as new). It removed most forms of discrimination/hate against certain players if they didn't repeat the same mistakes and/or reveal their characters to others. It also allowed people a fresh start without most forms of bias based on previous characters (and is a positive step in allowing IC to affect events more than OOC). It has many positive effects on role play and little to no drawbacks. Players could simply put character names in ban reports instead and the GM could look up the name thus protecting the players identity. I know some people will cheat/metagame anyway, but mentally it puts you in the mindset of it being a role your are playing. It would, of course, require a change to the way we forum rp, but I don't think most players forum rp anyway. Food for thought.
  10. Nature of the bug: When I try to make chainmail it tells me I don't have the materials to craft that even though there are links in my inventory. First occurrence: 10:45 PM 7/23/14 CST Describe exactly all the actions you took leading up to the bug: Clicked on anvil, clicked on chainmail chest, clicked on helmet What messages are/aren't you getting that you would/wouldn't get normally : You don't have the materials to craft that. Frequency of occurrence: Every time. Are you able to reproduce the bug: Yes.
  11. From the darkness of hell a new enemy emerges against this golden hope of pancakemanity. The true lord of the craft has arisen, and his name is.... Waffles! The fluffy kingdom of waffles and it's minions, toppings, do declare war on you Drfate, the holiest of pancakes. OOC: Mech or RP combat?
  12. Thank you so much for developing a system that didn't nuke our current main! >=D
  13. Jacob, having just received the news of Godwein's death, now learns of Farley's. He looks to the sky as if speaking to him and utters, "I know I have made many mistakes, my old master, but I did the best to serve you while I could. I hope that you find the peace in death that seemed to elude you in life. I will always treasure my memories of the time spent rebuilding your county, the patrolling of the King's roads, and fighting underneath you both in the field and with the catapults. You and your family have taught me much about architecture, politics, and how to treat others. Though my temper and drunkenness seem to get in the way of such. I hope you remember me fondly, as the peasant who cursed at pomegranates while chopping down trees for your family. Creator bless you, as you are one of the few honorable men I know. The Empire has lost one of its best this day." ((PS - thanks for being welcoming to a new player when everyone else just ignored me, your a great guy ooc and I wish you the best!))
  14. I think it was suggested that this info be in the tutorial island in 4.0. I believe they did, but don't quote me on that.
  15. I prefered your previous picture. In this picture it seems like only your nose lifts.

  17. In the forests south of the Capital of Mankind smoke starts to billow. Contrasting the beautiful farmlands of House Stafyr soot and the sweet smell of burning coal fills the air. Loud cracks of metal hitting metal are heard across the wheat fields to the north. If one were to venture inside they would see a huge forge surrounded by multiple anvils, water cauldrons, and iron working tables. Tools are hung in an organized and obsessive manner. Molten ferrum has been heated red hot and many peasants work gathering wood while others work on the anvils. A Southeron man stands at the balcony of the villa that surrounds this massive work space. He speaks: "The forges of East gate ever flowed armor, swords, weapons, and tools to the Imperial Army. So it will be again. The Foundry is open and Frost Steel will once again supply the Imperial Army with the goods it needs." "Let it be known that Ferrum is needed for this great task. We will buy any iron we can from miners that sell it. House Frost is also recruiting miners to help the Imperium build a brighter tomorrow." "Any Imperial soldier who has the ferrum and leather already will have his equipment made free of charge." "In this new land of limited resources, Ferrum is might, Ferrum is power. Our foundry will only provide goods to honorable Imperial families, soldiers, and men at arms." "Many yell about industry, but sit on their loins and do no work beyond that. There is no harder working man, than the Imperial man. Ave Oren, Ave Chivay!" At the end of his speech the peasants give a quick Hurrah and then continue on with their work. An atmosphere of determination and pride can be felt throughout the area.
  18. It amuses me that people are just now realizing things like this. It makes me think many of the feedback threads were started before people fully understood / appreciated / tested the plugins that the coders worked so hard on.
  19. Maybe I missed it but is this going to be beta-released on this map or on 4.0? If on this map are we looking Sooner or Soon? Lastly will all skills be reset for this or will it convert from the current plugin? Thank you sir >=D
