  1. A High Elf sheds a tear for purity, saluting.
  2. "Goodness," A random High Elf comments. "Perhaps the writer can be bathed in molten gold for a more prominent punishment, or dipped in acid?"
  3. "I do not believe the Black Dragon symbolizes what you say it does. I would know," A nameless Nephilim comments again.
  4. "I still support Torvin, and I support the Emperor." A nameless Nephilim says again.
  5. Not just more Events for the storyline, but more Events overall.
  6. "I support Torvin." A nameless Nephilim says.
  7. I personally enjoy the action of Deity and Dark RP, whether magic or simple rivalries. It's fun when beings, whether 'good' or 'bad', have their own motives beyond "die scum die", and actually create a dynamic situation. Combat with them is generally more enjoyable for me due to me not needing to fear Pvp Default for no reason, and that they can be reliable for good reactions. From what little time I've had in politics it seemed enjoyable, but also seems difficult for the average player to get into.
  8. "If insanity is the key to greater things, I do not wish to see what lies beyond the lock." Fabled legends they were, to think one may rise to greatness beyond that of mortals reign; to cast down the doors of life and death and embrace the pure ignorance of distinction. It is merely those of utmost yearning who plant the seeds of incapacity into the brains of their followers, paving a path towards insanity. This does not necessarily change their mind, but rather their vision, warping what they see to to what they want to see. In the crumbled ruins of Axios the past cultist wandered between buildings near to collapsing, their shrunken forms modeling a strange building style of past civilizations. On the surface only bones and artifacts still remained of those who wants lived there, but underneath revealed new tech and research. Architecture surpassing even current civilizations created winding tunnels and paths through the earth, each unearthing the secrets of more and more ages; weapons, murals, shelves of scrolls and books. Each depicted scenes unknown to the old Elf, but nevertheless he continued to delve further into the ancient halls, before finally coming to its end. Tapestries hung from the ceiling, three prominent ones sown to show three different beings. They were all different in appearance, but one he knew upon first look- Even without seeing the Patron he knew it to be Aerk'iath, whom he had spent ages of his life serving in combat and in faith. The others were unknown to him, but all were insignificant to the statue in the center of the room. Little detail was on it, for it lacked a face and hair, but to him it was an idol of justice. To him, it was the Creator's Hand. A sense of dread filled Koraz as he stood before the statue of his supposed Lord, and soon the memories of the Daemon's first Seer filled his mind; He remembered the blood curdling screams of those who stood in the Magi's path, their minds torn asunder. He remembered the voice that filled his thoughts as the Seer bended his will to that of Alistaer, and the incoherent pain that nipped at his brain, leaving him in the clutches of his Master until the point of self-doubt. Though none came to him, soon the voices began to fill his ears again, and he doubled-over, unable to go through the process again. What really happened in the end did not matter, for from his shrunken state rose a new man of 'God', empowered from the deaf words of a forgotten patron, shaped to remember remember the goals of his long dead brothers. From his past life came the strength of a man in his prime, and a Servant of Aerki'ath. Or perhaps he was simply insane.
  9. Any good skinners up for a large request? May need one for an event-ish character.

  10. "This bothers me greatly." Koraz comments simply, he himself donning the suit of a Sutican man, and holding the last name of a Wood Elf seed. "Though who am I to judge?"
  11. I'm not sure what's been suggested already, but how about expanding the creation aspect and immortality. As of now it seems the only way to become a Nephilim is by finding Dragon blood. I've seen two kinds of dragons in RP before; the RP'd kind (only once), and the one that was randomly thrown into an event because a certain ET got bored. Are there no other ways? Also, the immortality doesn't seem to do much as of now. It's like having an Elf character, in which age doesn't affect you but you still suffer from everything else. Anyway to change it?
  12. I was for it for the other threads, and am for it now.
  13. I did not read many of the comments, though I'd like to put in a word. Though some of you may have concerns as to the ability of Ilthilia in a more hardcore roleplay server, I can tell you that those members very committed to such a large group will learn quite quickly. Already I've seen some fine RP from several of the whitelisted players, whom have already begun joining in the banter of many other experienced players. I see no problem with them continuing to adapt to their environment, even if it means changing the land to be claimed. As for negative RP (powergaming, PvP), I'm sure some will make mistakes. But as did I when I first joined, and as did several others. It's hard to be a great player if others get angry at you for making mistakes. I'm sure some who don't have a firm grasp on the situation will soon learn, while others can learn the hard way.
  14. Koraz signs in red ink, muttering- "We Fea- Er, wrong Guild. I support this."
  15. I believe the best change in this update is professions. The task of grinding just to be able to decorate a simple home is repetitive when you're trying to actually RP. Hopefully these new ones don't negate from rp as much.
  16. Gotta change how lockpicks work too. No point in them as of now, unless you're breaking through a door.
  17. The depending on a nation for access to build.
  18. No resource island?

ffs 's race also change its racial professions?

  21. At first I was against the profession, and voted no, but now I think it'd be great fun for Hunters to be able to gather up parties for a boss. So, yeah, good idea.
