In the dim candlelight of the Reedsborough Sheriff's department, Deputy Flitgrin sat quiet and solemn at the table as he examined the crinkled sheet that still smelled faintly of sulfur. After a while, he rose to his feet, blinking. "Bah... s'upid allergies..." he murmured with a sniff, rubbing reddened eyes. The halfling shook his head, setting the paper back down and snubbing the flame with his fingertips. "Ye'll be miss'd, sir." With a slow exhale, his eyes fell upon Edgar's family pictures and junior shogging certificates pinned to the desk. There was much work to do, and he was grateful for something, anything, in that moment, that might help take his mind off things-- even just for a little while.

Deputy Fenwick raised a quizzical brow, patting his stomach. "Did some'un say... desser'? I coul' go fer one meself! A slice o' red velve' cake, per'aps..."

Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Arodef grew up in the household of the Tipper family in Leuvaarden, Athera: his father, mother, younger sister, and dog. The Tippers were hat-makers who made all kinds of head-wear, from the strange to the stylish. His father also worked with the blacksmith in making helmets for guards, lending his hat-making expertise in measuring and lining the insides of the armor with soft materials. Arodef looked up to the knights that sometimes visited the store to peruse the hats while they were off duty. An event later on would cause him to respect and admire the guard even more. One day, a summer lightning strike set the shop ablaze. While his mother, sister, and pet made it out swiftly and unscathed, his father remained in the burning building. Being but a young child, Arodef was helpless to save his parent. All seemed lost, until soldiers arrived to aid. His father was saved with only a few minor scrapes and burns, but the Tipper hat shop unfortunately burned to the ground. The only thing remaining in the rubble was a single gray rimmed hat, which Arodef kept. The family relocated and settled in Petrus. At the age of 18, Arodef left his family and did various different jobs to survive, until the worm attack. By now Arodef was 27 and he joined the passengers of a boat bound for Vailor. He learned to hunt with a bow from a young age to provide food for his family. At the age of 18, not wanting to be a burden on his family any longer, he set out for the city. While in the city, he was captured by a slave trading crew and taken aboard a ship. While on course, the ship sprung a leak and sank, but Wu managed to escape. He washed up on shore where he was rescued by the Monks of the Cloud Temple. Wu seeks a way home, even though he knows nothing of the people of LOTC except for what the monks have told him.
