Magna's breathing was ragged. Her hand gripped her dagger until her knuckles were a pale white. She heard the footsteps nearing as her opponent in this game of cat and mouse stepped along the other side of the stone wall. Magna found herself hiding in the cramped and hot room hidden behind her home in Haelun'or. As she had hoped, just on the other side of the wall, Tilruir'leyun, Yuln stood before the cold corpse of Isla Lunas, a dagger jammed in the previously created wound. To any onlooker it had to be a suicide. Alone, locked in her room, Isla, better known as Magna took her life. Lucky for her, the corpse, identical to her true form happened to go missing from the Tilruir'tayna's golem creation labs. Magna's worried look, hampered by her heavy breathing started to fade into a wicked smirk as the footsteps began to recede. Yuln was taking the corpse and exiting. She remained in the dusty, stuffy room for hours more, the heat started to overwhelm her weak body. At the point of nearly passing out, Magna yanks on the lever to let herself into her open home. Yuln was gone, she was alone. Anyone who cared for her secret must have thought she was dead by now. Magna had become a ghost. With that done, a plan was set into Action. It took Magna a mere few days to find company with other outcasts, other ghosts. The ghost of Hileia'elr seemed to take a liking to her, and vice-versa for that matter. Everyone had assumed Hileia had taken his own life, hence he became a ghost, and more importantly, he was impure because of it, but after accepting his fate, the two ghosts conversed. Hileia could speak and he could tell Magna what their Tilruir'mali had done to him. A mutual enemy was born, vengeance was plotted, a dream became a reality. The dear Tilruir'mali was not the direct target of the two ghosts. Magna's personal vendettas were too strong. She wanted to let people know she was a force to be reckoned with. Thus the first target was to send a message to Riondil, to Yuln, to Haelun'or. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You've located her then?" Magna asked as she fixed her distinct blue coat. It brought back memories of the first time she wore it. She missed Laethis. The ghost of Hileia'elr, better known to Magna as Roger would give a simple nod. Her typical blank expression was twisted into a smile. She slung her bow over her back and the two of them headed to the library. Roger had his fun first. He was a distraction, but he seemed like he was having fun pushing Vhesina with his spooky antics. Magna exhaled slowly and as quietly as possible. Her breath was shaky as she stepped cautiously throughout the shelves. She could hear the two conversing: Roger's nonchalant spooking and Vhesina's confused questioning. Magna drew her bow from her back, a nearby book falling from the shelf as she fumbles for a moment. She silently curses, but it seems Vhesina was distracted by Roger. Withdrawing an arrow, Magna spent a long while looking at it, her arm moving slowly to nock it to the string. Vhesina began talking about Riondil. Information, just what the two needed. Magna's skin started to wither, beginning to turn a tinted mixture of grey and blue. Her hair discolored, fading to a pure white. She clicked her sharp teeth as she stepped into the view of Vhesina and Roger. A worried expression crossed Vhesina's face which only brought a smile to the face of Magna. Her panicked cries of 'Impure' rang like a soothing music to Magna's ears. She spent a moment trying to calm the girl down, promises of survival should she give them the information they sought, but alas, Vhesina was a persistent and stubborn Mali'aheral and there was little time left. Footsteps were heard in the distance. Witnesses would gather soon. Magna stepped up to Vhesina as she cowered behind the book she was writing. It was all too easy. With a lift of the leg, Magna sent the bottom of her shoe into Vhesina, the sound of glass smashing rang throughout the library as the Mali'aheral let out one last panicked cry. It was unfortunate how little time Magna had to bask in her success. Magna gave a nod to Roger, signalling him to cover her escape. It seems he did quite well as Magna made it to safety without complication. After a few minutes the body was recovered by an indistinct blonde Mali'aheral also with little complication. That was when Magna felt it was time to celebrate. Magna's sharp incisors had shown as a wide smile crossed her face. Another spray of blood hit her coat as her goblin Kuk'luk brought his axe down upon the body, now in a tattered wedding dress. "This is what success feels like..." Magna mumbled as she watched. Well... Temporary success. There was still one more thing she and her servants needed to do. With Roger's scouting, Magna and her servants found themselves an opportune time to make it to the second story windows. With a quick signal, an indistinct bag fell from the upper level, falling to the atrium with a bit of a splat. Curious Mali'aheral were greeted with the sight the tattered wedding dress still seen yet covered in blood amongst the dismembered body. There was no head, but, with the recent disappearance of Vhesina, Magna was sure the Mali'aheral would figure it out soon enough. With that, the reborn Magna was finished, it was Riondil's move.
