I think pretty much everyone that writes a ban appeal does that. Bowing down and pretending to be sorry is how you get unbanned. :') Indeed. :)

(Important things to know before reading this post: I have never met the guy, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, and it only says " - Banned: true" when I do "/seen Roggvir" Also please don't reply to this thread by saying like "This thread is a meme" or some crap like that.) At first glance, his appeal didn't look like a joke or whatever, but after looking at it for about 40 seconds, I started to realize how much of a joke it could appear to be to the unwashed masses. With that said, I will try to express my mind on the hidden message that I have discovered in his ban appeal with this post. In his ban appeal, he says that he was shitposting. I believe this to be the cause of why he was banned because of how bluntly it is stated. He states that he insulted Supremacy and received 6 warning points. I see no issue with this. (This is the part where it gets interesting) He then goes on to say that several months have passed and that months have passed since those events have transpired. (I am a strong believer in time healing emotion-related problems) Here is the hidden message that I have discovered: HE STATES THE FOLLOWING: "Supremacy, I am sorry for my actions as they were inappropriate and frankly in bad taste. I realize this now, after my long period in absentee, and I think it’s about time I was let back into LotC." He publicly apologizes for his actions and acknowledges that what he wrong. Most people won't do something as outstandingly remarkable as that. For that, I respect him and I felt an initiative to create this post. He ends his ban appeal by saying how the future of his posting will be different, which is a quite conventional ending. For my thoughts on the link of the irrelevant music video that he linked, I believe that it should not interfere with the decision made by the person that handles his ban appeal since it doesn't induce any negative emotions. On the contrary, I found the music video to actually be a bit uplifting. Final thought: I believe that accepting the ban appeal and unbanning the person would not be an unprofessional thing to do because we are just people. People, people, people, people. People have many different reasons for doing things, and I interpreted his ban appeal as him reaching out his hand for help. Whether if his plead for help is accepted or denied rests entirely on the person who handles his ban appeal, and that is quite unfortunate because he can be left all alone without a second thought.

In-game someone private messaged me telling me that I'm not banned... But he or she isn't a staff member, unlike PurePimp10 (the guy who banned me). So am I banned or not????

Event Details (reason for actions, apology, ect): I pretty much told someone who is new to the server that their cat biting them has nothing to do with me. It was very rude of me to say that to someone I didn't even know, and I feel bad that I did it and if I could talk to the guy right now, I would personally apologize for what I did. WS chat is for talking to wandering souls, and what I did was I went in the chat and interrupted other people's conversation. With final exams coming up for my classes at college, I was under a lot of pressure by my parents to do well. I didn't mean what I said, I just had a stressful day and I had to wait about 65 minutes for my mother to pick me up... I have an essay due on sunday... I have to attend a thanksgiving event at my grandparent's place. There's just a lot going on. I truly do feel sorry for what I did. Sorry, Clay1123. Bug 1: I've had that ^ persona for like 6 months. it says it was recently created, and the "xp away" from skill upgrade thing is there from my other persona (6 months ago I created it with the age of 500.9 instead of 5-500 or whatever it was.) Bug 2: A guy was teleported to under the Felsen wagon at the docks. (this is not the first time he was teleported there) Bug 3: (it's really a typo that should be fixed) "/pet call <id>" gives you an error. "/pets call <id>" is the correct command. Bug 4: (a few more bug-related things) You can do "/msg <name>" on a wandering soul, but they probably can't reply. The crafting table/workbench thing says "Staffs" instead of "Staves." But this typo is more acceptable than the false command one. On some (worldedited) parts on the world, there is no bedrock at y=1 If you do "/realname <name>" on a soul who has entered the world for the first time, it will say "Warning: The user '<name>' has never joined on this server." If you do "/realname <name>" on a soul who is currently on and has been on before, it will say "Player <name> has been offline since 4 hours 51 minutes 12 seconds." (I used 4 hours 51 minutes 12 seconds as an example, it'll of course say something else) Note: There was another bug-related thing that I currently can't remember.
